they do have a desktop app.
But downloading a large number of items is horrendous through the website, as you need to download one file at a time.

And, without premium PikPak is not share friendly, since they have both a file number limit (not sure how many) and 6GB size limit. At least MEGA allows a download queue, so you can leave it and forget
