Is this one of the games where you need to change your system clock and language to get around the Location error box? I tried Locale Emulator and Textractor's Emulator and neither worked.

No you just need to use the same crack as a previous ZION game.

Compared to the previous 2 games, I found this game to be much worse. Lacking too many scenes with orcs, instead increasing the number of scenes with animals, humans... which no one wants.
