I use always a walkthrough. Often i just dont want to play the bad ends or neutral ends if the story doesnt excite me much :D

I think my first real otome game was amnesia, a few years after i watched the anime (of course because of the infamous scene).

For otome games that i will never play because they are only in japanese i watch the anime, but otherwise i would play the game rather

I like reading better, minigames distract me from the story to much and sometimes i just want to relax and read and not have to use my brain. Edit: Also my brain doesnt always work with me so sometimes the minigames arent really good for me, so accessability is important.

I like self-insert because i like to picture myself on those adventure in a otome game. If the MC has a face and more already done, im happy when at least it lets me change the name.

I love otome games but if i had a choice i would choose BL :D

CGs are not very importnat for me, customation maybe a little bit but what makes me want to play a game is romance(sometimes also adult content, but mistly romance). If it has romance i dont care what game it is: stardew valley like, bg3 or our life. As long as it has romance i want to play it :D
