I probably failed to mention that the error is one that Windows throws out, not the game. Run from disk, run from installed files, run as administrator, I've done all that. Thanks for the help so far though, I might have to ask of Microsoft Support in order to figure out what the problem is.

Hello, finished downloading the torrent last night, got through only the first scene, and the game crashes at fade to black. Any advice?
