I like 2d, but can appreciate 3d. I think I am just picky about styles and 3d usually feels a little basic at times. Not sure if its the visuals or motion but 2d has more detail more often than not. The shading has a very rich feel compared to 3d spaces imo
I prefer more choices as well. I think it helps games not feel so linear if they are big enough decisions. Ones that have small impact are fine but it does leave me wondering why even add it lol
I don't mind them that much, but prefer it without a mix unless its bi content. The usual squeaky voice kinda snaps me out of immersion I guess. I like my fem voices a little on the huskier side, feels less like JAV type stuff haha
It is such a good trope but it seems like more often than not it loses its edge, which isn't a bad thing but they can let them be at each other's throats a little longer before becoming lovebirds.
For CDs I try to wait for what is on sale, but other than that I try to spend what little money I have on my fave VAs or content that aligns with my interests. Other than one with an eggplant in a dude's butt. Ngl bought that one just cause they made me laugh.
I always felt that the main focus of the genre was the love interests, but pleasantly surprised to see it isn't all black and white. I feel like it is more of an art style thing than character with me, so that gravitates me towards the love interests since I will be seeing them the most.
I feel...
I think it counts as an otome game but not too sure. Haven't touched it in a while but I started A Date with Death and am enjoying it so far. I believe it is free on steam! With R18 dlc iirc. I haven't reached it myself so I can't comment on that aspect but the texts are really cute ♡
I am not disciplined enough to get invested in gacha but I am super happy for the other girlies who are loving it. I wouldn't call otome stuff niche exactly but it does feel very lacking when compared to all the male oriented stuff. (◡ ω ◡)
I don't dislike realistic styles even though they aren't my first choice. What I see from LaDS is good though! Just not a good idea for me with the whole gacha aspect haha. One of my friends goes crazy for it though so I am stoked to tell them about Silent Whispers, so ty for sharing about it...
