  1. Your opinion on otome gacha games

Nope, I wouldn't come near an otome gacha with a 10ft pole. They give me much more anxiety than enjoyment with the way they're built to be an endless money pit. Yes, I played the Ikemen Cybird games when I was younger but at this age I don't have the time nor patience to grind like before. I...
  2. General BL Games Discussion Thread

yeah that's pretty much the sad bl anime adaptation experienceTM. I did enjoy the sukisho anime (it felt really weird though, I agree pacing was all over the place). The 2000s-early 2010s was a weird time when they used to pump out low budget anime/OVA that were pretty just a marketing strategy...
  3. About dummy-head mic/binaural(?) audio...

Yeah Rejet is notorious for their dummyhead mics throughout their games/drama CDs(highly recommend Alice=Alice, is it vore is it ecchi only one way to find out). Very fanservice-y, the voice acting is so top tier >u< I also recommend Dear Vocalist if you're looking for an ongoing-ish drama CD...
  4. Which is your favorite BL game theme song?

VLG, this song altered my brain chemistry and still hits as hard as it did the first time I heard it(everyone should play sweet pool). ZIZZ compositions are just so distinctive and iconic~ :chuuni_yes:
  5. What Cg or Character standing sprite does remind you of

LOOOOOOL I had the same thought when I saw Kiya's design, average hentai mc T_T Suzukake one is just evil....(but I see it lolololol) Here's my contribution :)
  6. Butlers ~Mesimase Ojyou-sama~ & Nightmode

hello~ so I did a quick search and it looks like the "Night Mode" is an add-on patch to the original 2006 game. The game has a map movement gameplay where you choose where to move to interact with certain li's in their respective spots. The "Night Mode" apparently adds extra nighttime...
  7. Who is your favorite game scenario writer?

ohh i really enjoyed it! The atmosphere, OST, and art draws you in~! While I wouldn't say that the plot is my absolute favorite, a bunch of the characters are unhinged in a way and I really enjoyed the cast ehe. Yes, the game does have an older brother type character, though no actual brother...
  8. Who is your favorite game scenario writer?

Ohhhh I'm not too familiar with Itou's historical settings but now I'm intrigued~ I've played Chouchou Jiken (both of them were writers there) and while it felt a little cheesy at times with the troupes I still enjoyed it quite a lot, the cast was great and felt chaotically entertaining at...
  9. Have you ever played a kinetic otome game?

I played some of the Succulent games(which are mostly kinetic) and I enjoyed them for what they were. I liked the way of storytelling where it was just linear with practically little to no choices, it's nice for a change.
  10. Walkthrough order for otome games

If possible, I like to leave the character I'm most interested in to be right before the last route in the recommended order to motivate myself and finish the game in case it gets too boring(unless I'm limited by the forced order).
  11. Which Otome/BL has made you laugh the hardest?

Yo-Jin-Bo had me laughing a lot back when I played it, especially with the old media jokes and breaking the 4th wall. Though now I think it may be considered a bit "outdated" for newer fans >.<
  12. Slow burn vs Insta love or just medium pace

(my past as a skip beat fan still haunts me) so i must pick slow burn romance. But in all fairness, I feel like i grew to like slow burn a lot more these days, they just hit so well and have you cheering for the characters from behind your screen after 10+ hours of playing one route.
  13. HELP - Any software recommendation to track gameplay time?

I personally use etupirka for pc games. The interface is in Japanese, but it's very simplistic and easy to use. It also stops counting when you alt tab/minimize. Here's the link
  14. Do you self-insert while playing otomes?

I don't really self insert, more like I'm the fly on the wall that's somehow everywhere the whole time watching the main cast.
  15. Who else miss the old/veteran seiyuus in otome games ?

Ohhh I got juuzaengi on my radar (nekomimi boys, my weakness). Outside of very mainstream games like Amnesia(I love Kent), I would recommend Bad Apple Wars and Ayakashi Gohan! I love both characters of his but Ayakashi Gohan is a personal all-time favorite role for me. Though I gotta warn you...
