Usually, I go by appearance first when deciding whether to play a route, so it's very likely a no. Even though personality is important, I don't typically play every route, so without the visual appeal factor, it's very possible I'd miss out on playing my favorite character's route.

Maybe it's the lack of familiarity that causes a certain rejection, plus when a song is sung by a woman, we usually associate it with the female protagonist. I personally enjoy both.
