  1. Which love interest surprised you the most ?

So last week I finished Linus's route in Mistonia no Kibou, and he completely caught me off guard My first impression was that he was just a shy and easily flustered guy, but his route ended up being nothing like what I expected. It felt like a complete 180°, and he's still the character that...
  2. Favourite VAs?

Saitou Souma, Shimazaki Nobunaga, and Matsuoka Yoshitsugu. There are way too many good ones to count, but these three are the only ones I can remember off the top.:giggle::giggle:
  3. How important is the visual style of otome to you?

I'd say it's pretty important, but not everything. A nice art style definitely helps me get into the game at first, but if the story or characters are poorly written, I'll lose interest quickly. I once played a game purely because the art was gorgeous, but the bad writing made me lose interest...
  4. What otome game are you currently playing?

I completely agree, It definitely deserves more love than it gets. The art style is gorgeous. To be honest, I didn't think much of it at first because mecha aren't really my thing but it turned out to be so different from what I expected. I'd love to see it get an anime adaptation too, it has...
  5. How do you define an otome game? Does Infinity Nikki count as one?

No, I wouldn't consider Infinity Nikki an otome game. An otome game is a game with a female protagonist that focuses on romance as a core element, with several male characters that the player can build relationships with. Infinity Nikki is primarily a dress-up and adventure game with media aimed...
  6. What otome game are you currently playing?

I'm currently playing Yuukyuu no Tierblade. I chose this game because I saw some really beautiful CG images while browsing Pinterest when I was in middle school, and I immediately became interested. Furthermore, it seems like it's not a game that's talked about much, which made me even more...
  7. Do you listen to otome music?

Yes, I often end up listening to the OST outside of a game if I truly enjoy it. Some otome openings and endings are surprisingly good on their own. I actually think about setting one as my ringtone too, but there are just too many great OSTs to choose from =]]]
  8. Which translator do YOU use? 👀

I use LunaTranslator. It can hook into nearly all the games I've tried, and thanks to it, most of the games I've been playing recently have been Japanese-only titles.
  9. Otome Recommendation megathread

But if you want a dark fantasy otome that focuses heavily on emotions, I'd recommend Virche Evermore. It's one of those games that really made me feel for the characters and their struggles. It left a lasting impression on me in a way that very few otome games have.
  10. Otome Recommendation megathread

I'd recommend Code: Realize for beginners. The pacing feels just right, and the main problems are solved in a way that makes you somehow satisfied. It's a perfect entry point for beginners because it offers a little bit of everything—romance, action, mystery, and character growth.
  11. If you’ve already played a game that hasn’t been localised, would you play it again once it has been localised?

I think I'd replay it only if I really liked the game. Official localization make the story easier to follow and help me catch details I missed the first time. Otherwise, I might just skipped
  12. Your top picks for the most beautiful otome graphics

Reine des Fleur, Yuukyuu no Tierblade and Virche
  13. Do you prefer to keep the default MC's voiced name or change it to your own?

I kept the default MC's voice because I prefer LI to call the MC by their name. Another reason is that I'm pretty bad at naming characters, so I preferred to keep it as is.
  14. List of otome games that do not run on emulators

Sweet Clown cannot be played on vita3k either.
  15. First Run in Otome Games: With or Without a Walkthrough?

The first time I play, I won't use the walkthrough because I'm curious to see what my choices will lead to, but the second time I'll use it to get all the endings.
