I just realized I actually don't have many poster boy LIs that I'm biased , except Yves from Virche. And ironically, his route isn't even the true route lol.

I prefer finishing every route, but I've quit a few games halfway because the writing just wasn't good enough to keep me interested. :miku_shiver:

Yes, unfortunately. If I see everyone enjoying a new otome game or posting it on X, I can't stop thinking about it until I play it myself.

I still prefer having the option, even if I rarely use it. Players who enjoy self-inserting can rename the MC, while those who prefer her default identity can simply leave it unchanged. It feels like the best of both worlds.

Virche Evermore. Before that, I only knew otome games on nin through manga based on otome settings, so I had a very different image of what they were like.

I do read reviews, but only before deciding whether to play a game or not. I prefer the reviews where the reviewer explains why they liked or disliked it to saying it's good or bad :wink:

I OK with possessiveness or obsessive Li in fiction because it often adds tension and makes for an interesting story, but not in real life. Fiction is entertaining because I can safely observe it, but real relationships need trust and respect. :alice_hide:

I started playing when the SEA version was released, and that's when I got into the game. I like all of the LIs to some extent, but Sariel and Charlie are the two I'm the most interested in. There's just something about them that makes me pay a little more attention to their stories.
