clear! i like noiz and koujaku as well, however. both routes and their dynamic with aoba hit different but they were both enjoyable imo... i especially liked the scrap scene for noiz. it was an interesting depiction of depression plus i partly interpreted it (at the time) as how you can't...

we truly do need both... sometimes it's not so much about having a complex plot, but how it's presented. i think even a fairly "uneventful" game can be interesting once you dive into a character's psyche and you know how to work a more mundane setting ^^ and a game with a LOT going on can also...

any game can feel romance flavored if you're delusional enough (jk) like many here, i loved p3p, harvest moon/story of seasons (i'm playing mistria too! marriage update next month!!), fe13... gnosia feels a bit romantic sometimes too ngl >_< even if it's just a few lines of dialogue... i don't...

i tend to alternate between using the default name and my own depending on mood LOL so i'd find it weird not having that option. even if i'm not a big self-inserter, other players might be and they should have that choice... plus it's just fun seeing my name there, i do that even for non-romance...

pretty much almost anything, as long as the writing itself captivates me! i love to read about unhealthy relationships, especially if both parties are equally complex and cause harm to each other... so possessiveness, toxicity, insecurity, concerning overstepping of boundaries... all fair game...

not against it at all! but after reading some of the comments here i've also come to think i wish every route received the same treatment because it can sting a little knowing the route where the mc (or you, if you self-insert) end up with your favorite guy is also the one where nothing at all...

also part of the team who got into vkei and vocaloid first, then otome games later! it was really cool to see eiko shimamiya in psychedelica of the black butterfly - major higurashi vibes. maybe that's what they were going for? and i agree vns are a great way to get to know new artists... thanks...

shiraishi from cxm... i kept glancing at him even when it wasn't his route... but i'd say tokimeki gs is even worse in this regard because you can go on dates with all the guys throughout the game and it keeps testing your commitment 😔 even worse when they get jealous or you trigger best friend...
