  1. Does bad music ruin your immersion in Otome games?

Yes, yes, yes, and YES again. If a game has few tracks or they're bad, it strongly affects my impression. I really love paying attention to the composition, and they help me immerse myself in the story. For example, Taisho x Alice has decent tracks, but they got so repetitive that they started...
  2. How do you pick your first LI in otome games?

Mostly I look first at the person I like by appearance and who fits my type. If I don't really like this character in the common route, I take a closer look at the others
  3. physical manga or online manga?

I prefer reading manga digitally, but if I really love a title, I might buy a physical copy for my collection
  4. What would you think of otome games without the option to change the MC's name?

To be honest, I don't really care. Usually, I only name the heroine if she doesn't have a default name in the game and it asks me to enter one.
  5. Do you prefer long common route -> shorter character route OR short common route -> longer character route

I don't like long common routes; I almost died reading Tengoku, though that wasn't too bad. Games where the common route makes up about 80% of the entire game are way more painful... I'd much rather have long character routes.
  6. What are your favorite otome game/anime openings?

    Animamundi Dark Alchemist...
  7. Happy vs. Bad Endings, which do you prefer to play first?

I love having that bittersweet aftertaste after finishing a game, so I always play through the good endings first
  8. What is your favorite otome game? And why?

My absolute favorite otome is Danzai no Maria by Karin Entertainment. I'm always down to replay it and chat about it endlessly—the aesthetic setting is gorgeous and the characters are so amazingly written. Even now, I love overanalyzing the characters' motives and all the little plot details...
  9. ✨Which potion would you choose?✨

    Yellow one!
  10. You guys prefer novel or manga?

Oooh interesting question. I read both, but if a title has two versions and one is the original source material, I'd rather start with the original first and then move on to the second one. Like, I read the Umineko novel while checking out the manga on the side—it was super fun to visualize what...
  11. What's your favorite story trope in otome games?

:akazukin_puppyeyes: Ooh, I couldn't agree more! I love this classic with all my heart too, so I totally get you.
  12. What's your favorite story trope in otome games?

For some reason, I really love the amnesia trope or parallel worlds, for example.
  13. Do you ever look up otome game fanart?

I often fall for underrated otome games (like Danzai no Maria and Suuran Digit) so every piece of fan art is a total treasure to me XD
  14. What’s one thing you wish more otome games would do?

I'd love to see more voiced MCs and gloomy settings along the lines of Dark Love, but OZ recently dropped and Sullyland is coming out soon, so there's still hope for me
  15. Do you listen to a drama CD for the voice actor or for the story?

Mostly because of the voice actors; I listened to Diabolik Lovers for the plot, if you can even call it that
