The end of eroge sharing in japan?

I m not sure how you manage to get an extra 100 usd on top of the price I calculated earlier (tenso seems to charge even less if you are from asia), I think that is all that you need to import an eroge, you are adding an extra party in the middle that charges something as well or are you trying...

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

True eroge are a bit more expensive but not close to 4x more expensive. You are talking about list price of eroge vs retail price of ps3 games. Eroge rarely get sold at list price. here is an exemple of eroge that releases next month...

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

Wow 400$ for an eroge? Is that real? I often buy import ps3 games from japan and they only cost slightly more or equal price to the price of ps3 games in europe (for new releases) never got caught by the import taxe since I only buy 2 or 3 games at a time max, I think they only tax higher...

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

Ugh, when I run freenet on my old computer, it feels like I'm running a benchmark in the background constantly. I dont think i m going to be friend with that software very long :P

Looks like you are right, I hope the uploaders can keep up with next month as well. It should be a big month with 40+ full price games.

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

Not criticizing girlcelly but it seems that you are confusing, I don't think girlcelly is a direct uploader, he isn't buying game to upload them, he seems to be resharing mostly what has been shared first on other network or very occasionally when the game hasn't been uploaded by the jp...

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

It seems that a few older sharer emerged again, let's hope that they can keep up and that they are properly secured (rurmors are that 喫茶東洋 was sharing unprotected behind his own ip, which probably explains the speed at which he was able to upload all those games) . We should have the...

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

Vpn works without problem with share as long as the vpn allows port forwarding and it was recommended a few time in the past but due to it slowing down their speed it was mostly ignored until that arrest. As for f22, I think he has considered vpn although I m not sure I understand why he...

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

Probably because the uploaders, were just simple, isolated users (there doesn't seem to be any connection between the few of them) who happened to get a lot of games and upload them but were not experienced enough to use top site etc..

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

I think the problem is that there was no group uploading non translated eroge, it was mainly shared by rich individuals. If we just look at the cost of those eroge and try to see how much it would cost to buy 50% of those game each month to share them, it would seem very hard for a normal...

PD doesn't seem safe either, there have been some arrest on it as well. At the moment there is some discussion about using amoeba or freenet but it seems to be slow (24h for a 4gb file on a fiber connection according to the comments) so some people are against it.

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

The last games from anim teams, fulltime, blackrainbow etc.. require online activation or account login and since 喫茶東洋 didnt want to touch games with activation or internet connection, most of those didnt get uploaded. Before that most games including those with activation were uploaded by...

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

Just by looking at the share list of game released since december and you can easily notice that more than half of those game were uploaded by that guy. And when he wasn't uploading a missed game almost nobody else did.

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

I don't think the situation is the same, back in 2008 there was a bunch of big uploaders, if one went missing, others could fill missing games without problem. Now the last big uploader is gone so I think we can prepare to see a lot of missing game at the end of the month unless a new one shows up.

The end of eroge sharing in japan?

This looks like the start of the end of eroge sharing in japan. According to this page http://www.sofurin.org/htm/copyright/77.htm It seems that one of the main sharer of eroge known as 喫茶東洋 on share, who was probably uploading about 50-70 % of the games recently, was just arrested at the end...
