actually, both. if story is REALLY good, then i can close my eyes for weak romance and just fokus on main story, and if romance is REALLY good, then i can forgive some plot holes or something like that.

i want to say that i would, buuut... i'm playing unlocalized games with machine translators, and if their so-called "official translation" is the same stuff, then there is no reason to do it. but if it is like really good and accurate official-official localization, then yeah, i'd play it one...

yeah, i'd like it. i'm a big fan of "breaking the fourth wall" trope in general, so it'd be interesing to see that in otome games. how that trope would be made without making it akward, weird or cringe

at that time, i was listening to a lot of cd dramas, and one of them was related to an otome-game (i don't remember what game it was), so i became curious about all that stuff.

i wouldn't mind it, unless it is a route with bad ending only. then i don't like it at all

and i'd like to add another one - the whole "you'd be better without me" stuff. come on dude who tf u are to decide what's better for MC? you're not them, don't make a descision for another person when no one ask

pretty much every bl/otome game with gacha and microtransactions elements. and in case of games with controversial tropes (like in hadaka shitsuji or pretty much every pil/slash games), i'd still recommend them, but i'd also add a huge trigger warning list before recommendation

huge +1 to misunderstanding thing, when it's obvious that charachters can just sit and fckng TALK to each other right here and right now, but for some stupid reasons they ignore it. it really irritates me, so stupid. and i just can't get to like childhood friends trope. idk, for me it's the...

i'm in no spoilers team. i can make an exception for maybe CGs to see art style, but only for early-game CGs that doesn't reveal too much. for story and charachters spoilers are big no-no
