    I'm not entirely sure but I'd guess that it makes it harder for authors & trolls to find out that content is being shared here, I.e. it makes takedowns less likely but I could be wrong about that, shrug.

    Good times indeed. Personally, I was quite partial to the "ARE TRAPS GAY???" meme 'debate' on most forums where the "No" side would cite increasingly absurd defenses for why traps were 'not gay'. Of course it was all a big joke and we all knew that but these days there's no way that could occur...
