Personally, just as I wouldn't expect otome related content in BL/GL, I don't want BL/GL content in otome. I have no issues with characters of different sexual orientations existing in the games in the concept of supporting the story, but I don't like how otome gamers are somehow viewed harshly...

Like others have said, I definitely would prefer longer character routes and shorter common. I would like to have a lot of time with my chosen LI than be stuck in the common route which I will have to go through a bunch of times for each character.

It's dissapointing, especially if they are my type of character (personality, looks-wise). But if there's a good reason for why they aren't romanceable, I'd understand. Otherwise, I'd just think they're being unfair lol

I prefer happy endings, but I'll play the tragic endings if I can play the happier endings later as a palette cleanser lol

I pretty much like all types of otome games, but I'd say I'm drawn more towards horror, mystery, and fantasy/supernatural.

I enjoy them as well! I guess one reason I like them, is the gap moe if that makes sense. Of course, LIs that feel comfortable in their own skin and don't follow strict gender norms is always a breath of fresh air.
