I missed the CGs for the Bad Ends during my first playthrough. You have to lose to certain bosses in chapter 5 to get them. Other than that, no, you don't need to use a particular leader card. I've finished the game once using just Kiskil (first version).

No, this is similar to the original 800x600 release with added "animations". The animations are not even true movies (MPEG) since the animated scenes are just made of 8 still pictures. You can check this if you extract the contents of the pic.det file.

HD version is the best version.

Okay, downloaded this just to check the problem some people have. The setup.exe you run is actually an unpacker for the installation files. If you have a slow PC, this will take several minutes and probably hang/freeze old ones. The unpacker will place the files in one of your temp directories...
