Switch games:
citron/Eden,ryujinx/benji-sc emulator
Most games can use citron or Eden.
I think citron is better, it will make the phone less hot and power-consuming.
If you encounter incompatible games such as even if tempest/diabolik lovers, which only words and sounds, but no pictures, you can use ryujinx or benji-sc. There is not much difference. I am used to using benji-sc.
In fact, ryujinx/benji-sc is compatible with all otome games, but this simulator will have frame rate and occasional flashback problems, so I only consider it when citron can't run.
If a new game cannot be opened in the emulator, update the emulator, keys, driver or firmware.
PC games:
winlator,gamehub,tyranor emulator
Winlator and gamehub can run most PC otome games
Gamehub is similar to winlator, but simpler and more novice-friendly.I prefer to use this emulator.,if you have problems with winlator, you can use this one
If a game can't be started, it's probably a Japanese game. Change your game folder and game exe to English or numbers.
However, the compatibility of PC emulator is not as good as that of Switch emulator, so if you encounter some problems with the compatibility of individual games, I think it's better to play on the computer lol.
I ran a lot of otome games, and only two games didn't work.
One is Melty snow, too old, rare so just give up directly, and the other is Seijuurou-kun no Sakotsu o Sawarou, made by TyranoScript, so If a PC game can't run, you can check game engine on vndb, and it says TyranoScript, you can choose Tyranor.
Tyranor can also play games made by kirikiri and rpgmaker engine, Japanese galgame use this simulator more, we encounter few games that must use it.
There is also a kind of game that only provides set up exe. You can install them on your computer first, then transfer them to your mobile phone and run them.
PSP/nds/PSV simulators have developed very well, just follow the online tutorial.
The PSV simulator has been updated by a new team recently.
Site: vita3k.org, but I play PC and Switch games more now, so I'm not sure about the performance of this new one. I think it's similar to the original PSV simulator.
That's all. If you encounter other problems while running games, I will answer them again.
