This is a thread about SHARING PORN for god's sake. Stop explaining the benefits of using sharing services, noone really cares. Stop coming in to "share your opinion" while add fuel to the fire, noone really asked. No money is being exchanged here, noone can MAKE anyone do anything here. If you got something to share, share it however you want, if at all. If someone whines, ignore them. They aren't paying you. Thank you for service. If you are looking for something, get it however you can (make a new account, use a vpn, etc), if not, find it somewhere else or pay for it properly. I like to crack jokes here but this is some of the dumbest shit ive ever seen taken seriously. Can we go back to just sharing smut like cultured gentlemen please?

I appreciate your attempt of wording it like I pick targets of aggression to attain an artificial higher ground for your opposition. I'd suggest going easy on the adjectives hyperbolic adjectives and stronger on the recollection.

As it follows:

My last complains about workupload was indeed because previewing what, pirates that we are, will download into our drives is a rather comfortable thing to have. Not a slave-driver bellow to thing, and of course, no one has stopped doing it either. No harm done.

Now, as a previous user has pointed out there is an economical benefit to proliferating the use of pikpak for its storage size and finnicky usake and temperamental storage options. This much is not my interpretation. Obviously, some people not in the know request entire vaults to be ported but most simply ask for specific artists from pikpak vaults to be ported elsewhere, which is a valid and reasonable thing to wish for and has been ommited from your retort. I choose to assume, because you may have not seen it or due to time constraints on your part.

I've no power to enforce my will on anyone and neither do you. We are all here to share our scraps of hoarded porn the best and most efficient, hassle-free way we can. I can talk to you any time to find ways in which to keep pikpak AND also provide those who can't access it, the contents inside it they desire. What I do not want is for these comments to devolve into perceived attacks when all we are in the end is, pirates of the sea(men) with the only goal of getting our latest coom.

This isn't entirely what happened. Nicovideo actually suffered a ransomware attack from russian hackers back in 2024 and that shut down the site for a few months, exacerbated by Japan's lack of security knowledge. This resulted in many videos being lost. Additionally, due to foreign pressures from card processors, Japan decided to hide many videos if you are based overseas. You'll find that many videos are simply hidden if they contain sensitive content and you do not have a VPN with an exit node in Japan

Last time I was on there a month or so ago, I saw most of the oldies I remember. I think, like another user said, you just need to use a VPN for a JP IP, I dont use niconico without it nowadays. They restrict anything past a certain content rating (R-15?) to JP only afaik. I might be able to help find some if you remember what you are looking for.
