i got the third ending so idk if that has anything to do with it but when you start a new game there should be a new prompt asking you if you already remember whatever, and if you say yes then you start on the 5th(?) day of the regular game
there is no new choice until the very end of 5th day, and if you choose the good choice (its obvious) then you start on the 6th day for the beyond the bet version
