Anyone got the XAudio2_7.dll is missing error on Japanese Win7? I tried running it on my Win7 English with Apploc, it has sound, but gives me black screen. So I either have no video or no sound. Has anyone got it to work with video and sound? If so, please share your setup (VM or actual PC), OS version and language. Thanks.

I also tried it with a USB sound card, passed through to the VM, it still didn't work. Still no sound. I guess I have to give up.

I'll recomend using NTLEA or LE (Local Emulator) to launch Guilty game.
You can alsto try the "work for all Japanese games sometime but dunno why" methods of renaming the folder to remove all Japanese or syntax from the game path, and making a short path to the game folder (like, avoid 10 sub folder to hide the game, just try when putting it like c:\gamename\exe file")

My VM is full Japanese Windows 7, even time is set to Japanese time, but when I launch the game it just says XAudio2_7.dll is missing form your computer.

I just tried reinstalling DirectX, however, I still get the same error.

Can either of you get the game to work with sound? If so, what OS are you using? Are you using VM?

I have zero interest in female protagonist games, but the trial of this one works fine on my Windows 7 x64 ENG machine out of the box with the default settings. Download the trial to check whether it's the crack's fault. It comes with Redist subfolder inside (probably for a reason), and installing that stuff shouldn't hurt, just like installing whatever updates are still available for Win7 via Windows Update.
XAudio2_7.dll is installed by DirectX installer, you can try manually putting it into the game's folder and see if it changes anything. Download offline DirectX installer, install or extract it; XAudio2_7.dll is inside one of .cab files in there (WinRAR can extract them).
You can also check (trials of) other AdvHD-based games, at least two of these have just been released:

Edit: the trial's README.TXT says that SP1 is required for Windows 7 (and I do have that), make sure you have that too.

My physical PC's OS is ENG Win7 x64, I do have SP1 installed. I'll try the other games and see if I can get it to work. I don't know what kind of crack 2DJ Game uses, but I remember when they were still called 3DH Game, their Denuvo crack didn't support my CPU (i7 6800k), so maybe that's the issue.
