Before everything, thanks for the game and NoDVD patch.

However, I'm having text problems with this game and, after trying to solve it myself all afternoon with no results, I'm hoping someone else can help.

First, I have - and always had - my Non-Unicode AND Local Language settings set to Japanese. In other words, very rarely I have this kind of problem and it's not a (fairly common) overlook of these settings.

The game text seems "broken", with some proper japanese symbols scrambled with random ones, like show:

However, simply hiding + showing the text box (left click + right click) makes everything fine again... until next sentence.

It's not like it's unplayable (I still DO catch the proper text with ITH), but let's face it's beyond annoying.

Some (maybe) useful info: original Windows 7 home fully updated; original (default) game settings, already tried AppLocale, change font, etc; no problems whatsoever with other (dozen) games installed; tried the DEMO version and STILL having the same problem.

Thanks in advance,

KnS.

I have the same problem :ninja:

Seems like this one uses an engine akin to the tinker bell games'. You need to have a Japan language windows. I don't just mean non-Unicode and locale settings, but the whole language pack with interface and all. If you have Win7 Ultimate then you can just download the language pack via Windows Update and enable it from the region settings prior to playing it. Alternatively you can virtualize a Jap Win7 machine and play it on that system. Either way, there's no other solution. At least one that I know of, some claim that NTLEA works, but I never got NTLEA to work on a 64bit OS.
