３年８か月にわたって続いた太平洋戦争。その間の映像は、戦場での記録映像や、銃後の暮らしを撮ったフィルムなど膨大にのこされているが、大半はモノクロである。戦後７０年にあたりＮＨＫでは、この「戦争の時代」を記録した映像を国内外から収集
