I'm having trouble getting the RPG Maker VX Ace RTP to install correctly I think. When I try to play, it says: Unable to find file: Audio/BGM/*something in japanese*
Any way I can fix this?

It seems like the game wants the RTP files to have japanese names but mine installs in english at least that's my guess

It's not the game from this thread. Ask in thread where you downloaded this version.
Error means that folder is missing.

This is the thread I downloaded the game from, but this isn't the only ACE RTP game that gives me this error.

no. I never shared v1.6

Remove rpg maker, on 100%, not just "unintall" but remove any register enterings. re-install
What language of your OS? If it's not pure japanse, use ntleas044_x64, run game thought it.
