I'm going to separate the poll for each SOTM round into a new thread from now on. I believe this gives it a cleaner, less cluttered look, as well as potentially better exposure. Also, we can now discuss about the voting process itself in a specialised thread meant for this very purpose only.

One more thing: I think a voting period of a full month was too long. Barring a lack of votes, I guess two weeks should be enough. In this case, I know it's less than two weeks to deadline; I just want to fit it with the end of the month. If anyone disagrees or has any suggestions about this, don't hold back.

Congratulations to Dark Angel!
For winning SOTM #32 with a theme of recreation.

To some people (especially anime characters), thoughts about the beach, swimming, and other fun summer activities begin far before the season itself comes. Sometimes, in the midst of a cold winter, thoughts wander too far past desires for the warm spring into the territory of the lively summer. I guess humans have a tendency to desire for the opposite of what they have. Like, when being surrounded by the cold and dry winter, they long for the... hot and wet summer.

With that kind of thinking, I don't think it was hard to conclude that an idea of recreation put forth at the start of summer would make some to immediately think of the very aspect of what makes summer itself summer (at least in the anime way): the beach! The sea! The burning sun! Where else would you get a nicely amalgamated combination of hotness wetness at once?

Wait, no. Don't answer. Whatever thought may have popped up in your mind upon reading that question, I'm pretty sure I don't want to know.
