How do you fix the resolution? It starts as a tiny box and making it full screen is so pixelated it is impossible to read.

Textractor isn't hooking complete sentences. Is there an H-code for this game? UPDATE: Textractor is picking the full sentences up, it is just one sentence behind on each scene. A little distracting, but manageable.

I found a work-around, a long painful workaround. I built a second VM with Windows XP and I raised the amount of RAM allocated to it(I have low RAM on my Windows Virtual PC VM). That worked, also it doesn't like dynamically allocated space, so if you use a VM for it, you need to set a fixed amount.

I am using 64bit Windows 7 and it still doesn't work. Any thoughts on what OS to use? Is there a 64bit of Windows XP I could use with a VM? This game used to work, but I had to reinstall my OS and now it doesn't...

The game crashes every time I hit New Game on the main menu. I tried using Applocale and Locale Emulator, but same result. I am running it on Windows 7. Any ideas?

Kokoro is the most blatantly underage. Most people would probably just check the replay images and not bother to play the whole game to find out what the ages are.

Supposedly one of the game makers hinted with 99.9% certainty they would release through "unofficial" channels a patch with the missing scenes, but no idea how or when.

That would be awesome if you got the cut scenes back in. I can always go play the Japanese version but having to open up several programs to translate is annoying. At the very least it wuld stop some of the choices leading to bizarre dead ends.

They cut the Loli scenes due to international laws, but in a few months there might be a patch released to replace the scenes. I got it to work! I had the Japanese version so I copy and pasted the files Jake1234 suggested and replaced the ones in the English version with those.

What patch? The Datachecker? That just told me all the parts of the download worked. I looked on Overflow's site and the only file for Shiny Days in their download section was broken.

So after running the game in Japanese locale the first error now reads the above and the other two are the same.

I get the above 3 error messages in order when I go to select the waitress outfit at the start of the game. The game then reboots back to the main menu after I click OK on each of the messages. I did select run as admin when starting the game and I have Windows 7 Pro. Any ideas on why this isn't...

Thanks for the upload. I am having trouble getting the game to run, every time I start up the game with the default graphic settings it freezes on the Material logo screen. Is there a crack I need for the game? I am running Windows 7 with a GTX560 card.
