The installer didn't want to install any files after choosing install directory due to some vague error, right click "windows 2000 compatibility" worked as was mentioned. Pretty weird though. Also had to rename the crack and put it together with the original exe. -

Couple years late, but for the crack to work the crack needs to be named something different from uhourenka.exe, the original exe must remain untouched, oddly. -

Had a headache trying to get this game to work. Double clicking the .exe, nor the cracked .exe did nothing. After googling I found something called AlphaROM Themida型系パッチ. I named the Kissbell.exe to foo.exe, then tried Themida, then tried the AlphaRom Cracker, and it eventually worked.
