So I had due to a bit of unique circumstances the chance to replay a few older titles like Clochette's Kokorone Pendulum, Sakigake Generation and Haruruminamomi. What I really enjoyed in them was the common route, especially the former and latter titel. Solid MCs and totally adorable main...

I haven't posted here since quite a long-ish time. I haven't actually read all that many VNs and just skimmed through CGs/h-scenes in the last couple of years and focused more on jrpgs and FF14/GW2. However, I eventually sat down and finished my first run of Amayui Labyrinth Master yesterday as...

スタディ§ステディ: I agree with the common route part as I haven't played much into the heroine-of-choice's route. The MC is dense... so dense ;_;. I feared or expected as much when he proclaimed in the beginning of not understanding why you'd need or want a gf. Yes, I took that at a big warning sign...

Royal Garden plays with the idea of an harem in the aftermath of the True Route. The main couple still remains, but you have this lingering feeling that it could easily turn into an unofficial harem at the end. My hazy memory prevents me from being more precise. The resolution of the true route...

I did skip rather quickly through Uguisu's after story, actually xD. Only her after story, to be precise with a savegame. I could cope with her "first" fate before the plot element kicked in, seeing that I also survived Clannad and Hatsuyuki Sakura *lol*. But the development after the...

Mind = Blown. @tone's work: I won't comment on Hatsukoi 1/1. For my mindset of "Dear Drama, GTFO", it was the worst offender. And that's fine as everyone has different priorites and preferences. Hoshiori did in comparsion a complete 180 degree turn and is probably my favorite one. I can replay...

I skipped through Ugui's after story: What.The.Heck did I read? It's a ... unique? way for a what can be considered good ending, I guess. The mystery concept was used here, but honestly I thought the way it turned out was bad. Sorry, I'm at lost for words. The first part was fine after event X...

I started playing tone work's latest VN. In a few words: strange and "weird"ish. Overall: Ignoring my dramaphobia, tone work's choices here seem quite strange in contrast to Hoshiori and Gin'iro.

I think I agree with most of your impressions. I thought it was kinda ironic how even Rino commented in the true route about how disconnected her route was from the "main threat". Not to talk about that the main idea of her route was never mentioned again, even though I thought it was quite neat.

You are right. I read Himari's childhood friend tag and looked at Rina's section on vndb *facepalm*.

I know I'm in the minority, but Chisato's route was my favorite in KoiChoco, but I agree that her reactions in some other route - from what I can faintly and vaguely remember - made it hard to like her in retrospec. The worst route I recall was still Mifuyu's. Even with my questionably lack of...

It can get sometimes absolutely pathetic and "depressing". Dare I say more than Hatsukoi 1/1. The two childhood friend routes still make me want to figuratively cry in how they were handled. Or how Koko's route in Da Capo 2 triggered my deep "dramaphobia" *lol*. Thank you for nothing love...

I've played a couple of AXL games. I have a very soft spot for Dolphin Divers because I quite liked how the MC was handled and developed, and even their two cross-dressing VNs around 恋する乙女と守護の楯 were quite the enjoyable. レーシャル・マージ just didn't click with me, but no personal qualms involved...

I'm currently playing ガールズ・ブック・メイカー -幸せのリブレット- and it's alright, I guess. It has a weird mix of a slight overarching "plot", and yet consists mainly of one major episode + sub-episodes per fairytale which also include one h-scene per relevant girl (so far). It's actually quite light-hearted and...

I expected, or rather "feared" as much, as what you said in your spoilers when I skimmed through the h-scenes in the trial version. It got even more WTF-ish when his little sister had her turn and I just went "Nope! Not with me" *lol*.

I will probably only bother with Eスクールライフ: While hooksoft had "problems" with rather generic or boring MCs, I've still enjoyed their characters and routes to get my "worth" out of it. From what I've read so far, the common route segments seem quite a bit shorter than their former titles. I've...

So... I've played through a few true routes with savegames: リアライブ and whirlpool's new one. I'm of course not spoiling anything, but *phew* was Realive's heavy with its topics, even though the players will likely know most stuff from the end of the individual routes. Kinda reminds of a certain...

A slightly different question: Can anyone access the mirror site holyseal.net? I haven't been able to access the site for quite a few weeks and am not sure if it's down/closed, or if they now also require a JP proxy to visit (like some other eroge maker sites).

Finished Happiness 2 yesterday: Follow-up on Rino's route: It's the most harmless route in the VN because it doesn't follow up on the main plot element at all. There are reoccuring element's like Kazuki's ring, but that's all. It's honestly a weird decision and something Rino commented herself...

I still love Mashiro-iro Symphonie to this day and absolutely dig Airi's route. Despite my days in the open sea "Arr", I also own the PSP version. As for the two vn-rpgs: I only played Evenicle 2 a bit further so far. Unless something completely unexpected happens, I don't think my opinon of...
