Final8 Maken-ki 1080p Better than this. If u asking why [Polished] Colour is a dull and sharpness not enough, But Final8 colour is vivid and sharpness pretty good. More size Always Doesn't mean More Quality.

I'll add it to the list of anime to compare, though going by past experience I don't expect much - or rather, I expect Final8 to have oversharpened to video, killing the grain (making the files smaller in return) and details, while introducing ringing and making banding worse. And then messed with the color space to add insult to injury.
But hey, I might be wrong about the above. Guess we'll see soon. :P

Turns out my guess was mostly right, only that you've got macroblocking instead of banding in the F8 encode.
