-Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro
-Kiseiiju
-To Aru Majutsu No Index (Sigh... The current manga is kinda stuck. But the novel is up to par with where the anime last took off.)
-The Law Of Ueki
-Katekyo Hitman Reborn (They should really continue the anime =_=")

Man you should really try Clannad

The End more than makes up for the sad parts

I read Kimi no Iru Machi as well

Ended up dropping it after the girl returns home

Lemme reckon you with Yankee-kun to Megani-chan and Pretty Face.
Those two are among the funniest manga I've read, especially Pretty Face.

Funniest manga recommendation: Stop!! Hibari-kun!
It's only four volumes, early 80's, and oh so goddamn funny. I don't think the gags translate well so I'd recommend it to anyone who can read Japanese. If you get the jokes, then congratulations, you are fluent.
