Help with H Visual Novel Error

Hey there, I ran into this problem (in attached pic) while trying to start up p/a potential ability and was wondering if anyone can please help me with this. I've already put my system locale to japan settings and have no idea where to go from here to fix this. Thanks

I downloaded the game here https://www.onlyhentaigames.com/potential-ability/ ; when I installed it asked for a key but the ones floating around here and hongfire does't work so I used this post http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php/431635-P／A-～Potential-Ability～-Patch for a patch to get through the cd key screen but when I start it up it stops and pops up with a MajiroObj error popup in my picture

Have you ever tried the AlphaROM patcher? If I'm not mistaken, it might work with other games. I'm not the best when it comes to tech support, cause I would have to download the game myself and test it. Just trying to help though........

I've never tried it but I'll try it now but could you give me a quick rundown on how to use it?

Well, theres one executable program inside the rar. Theres some translations for some of the options you can use on the patcher in one of the pictures. All you have to do is drag the executable file for the game onto the interface for the cracker. It should work if the protection is AlphaROM, don't know if that game is protected by that though.

Uh, one other question here is if you had the disc mounted while you ran the crack. One game I installed the other day, just to try and test it, required you to rename the patch and put it in the game directory, mount the disc, than run the crack and when the pin is asked for just click okay. This could have a similar process. (Who know?). I could always just download and install this game myself to experiment.

Not sure if installing in a virtual machine on a Mac matters though.

Oh crap, you're genius! Worked like you suggested, thanks for the help! Uh one more thing if you think you don't mine helping me with, what translator(s) programs should I use? I know they all don't translate perfectly, but which would be best? I've seen of visual novel reader, ith, aggregator?

I use Translator Aggregator+ ITH+ Mecab + Jparser+ Atlas+ Mobile version of LEC + Online Translators.
