matryoshka活動10周年を記念し、2012年にリリースされロングセラーを続ける名作「Laideronnette」のリミックスアルバム「pseudepigrapha」を、Virgin Babylon Recordsよりリリース。リミックスアルバムのタイトル「pseudepigrapha」は「偽典」を意味する。「Laideronnette」が持っている恐ろしいほどの美しさが解体/再構築され、新たな美を持つ作品となり、生まれ変わるという意味を含んだタイトルとなった。今作では「Laideronnette」の全10曲が個性的な豪華メンバー10組によってリミックスされている。リミックス参加メンバーは、シューゲイスエレクトロニカの代表格Ulrich Schnauss、国内よりdownyのギタリスト青木裕、mergrim、arai tasuku、anoice、moshimoss、そのほか、レーベルメイトであるworld'send girlfriend、Go-qualia、そしてセルフリミックスでmatryoshkaも参加し、残り1組は一般公募で選ばれたリミックスが収録される。アートワークは、matryoshkaのこれまでの全アルバムのジャケットを手掛けてきたAyako Yoshimotoが担当。
