On another note, I definitely agree. Orcsoft missed a great opportunity here when they chose to have the Mom's story be about some random fat guy at the office. Especially since the two games are linked. I would've preferred the son going to the Mom's office (shakai benkyou or some other valid reason) then seeing her "womanly side's frustrations" there which awakens him to her being the opposite sex. Since the theme is cosplay, maybe they could've made it so that he digs up some old picture of her in cosplay along the story and things escalate from there. The joint-game special would be the harem.

That old fat guy schtick really didn't have a place in the story, especially since they start the first game off with the Mom and the Bestfriend "hating men due to past experiences" and seeing only the son (MC of 1st game) as the only trustworthy guy around. This game basically overturns that setting and throws it out of the window and any actual valid reason why both games need to be connected. Really disappointed with Orcsoft here although they have great art as usual.
