Maybe try updating your WinRAR/7zip.

Can confirm there's no issue with the files. The game boots up normally.

Your OS's format also needs to be set to Japanese. Control Panel > Region > Format.

/HS-4:-4*-4@551A6:koreuba.exe works but Textractor's built-in hook (specific for this engine) is better as it automatically removes <r> tags hooked by this code after every line break.

This H-code is for the downloadable version of the game by the way, and may or may not work with the packaged version in the first post. It should work with both versions though, but if it doesn't, use Textractor.
