Deep in my heart, there is a yearning for intimacy
To hold these feelings inside forever, and to share them with you

Deep in my ocean of tears, there is a yearning for healing
To share this broken heart inside, and to share the pieces with you

Deep in my fears, there is a yearning for peace
To hide when I'm scarred, or to face them in the comfort of your grace

Deep in my frozen memories, there is a yearning for light
To warm the cold past, cherish this moment, and to make a future with you

Deep in my spirit, there is a yearning to be free
To be accepted in every way, and to be the light of your day

Deep in my loneliness, there is a yearning for love
To love someone, and to be loved overwhelmingly by you

Deep in my life, there is a yearning for purity
To be apart from the world, and to restore the broken

Deep in my wishes, there is a yearning to be with you
To live together, and to fade away together in your arms​
