Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

Volume 8: "A New Angelic and Harmonious Era in Ōta" | Chapter 159: “Training Guts with the Brains and Pinks”

    Part 2

Meanwhile, at the Nashiba High School Gymnasium, the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team are doing their training today. The first years and the members of the reserve team are being trained by Subaru and his teammates where it will be divided into four sections: shooting, passing, athleticism and defense.

The first years and the members of the reserve team have passed each test, which lasted for 20 minutes. For Seiichirō, Chihiro and Seijirō, they worked hard to pass one test at the time to improve their skills and attributes.

Later, Takehiro and Shin are talking with the first years and the members of the reserve team about the traditions of their basketball program.

“In the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team, there are many traditions that have been used when it comes to bringing their willpower to shine. For instance, we used the usual white home and crimson away jerseys every game. Of course, our program had been associated with the other schools from different neighboring areas such as Setagaya, Meguro, Shinagawa, Kawasaki, Inagi, Komae, Chōfu, Mitaka and Musashino” said Takehiro.

“Are they have talented players?” asked Chihiro.

“Yeah, Chihiro-kun. They have a lot of talented players who were good with their shooting and athleticism. We always battled them in an exhibition tournament during the summer where they have tense competition out there” said Shin.

“Wow! I can’t believe that they’re very strong and their players are really tough to beat if they want to battle us for sure” said Seijirō.

“Yep. I agree. Every year, an exhibition tournament was held in Setagaya where they battled for the best high school basketball team in the southern part of Tokyo” said Takehiro.

“Who are the competitors in that tournament?” asked Hisayo.

“They were mostly crimson-colored and red-colored groups that have been dominant during the early 1990s. Nashiba had been considered a title contender for the Interhigh tournament during that decade where they successfully made it to the block semifinals in 1992 and 1995” said Shin.

“Wow! That was about 15 years ago, Shin-sensei! It feels like we have some good players in our team before” said Satoyuki Koganei.

“Yep. The youngest brother of my father, Tomonori, had formerly played there for three years before he graduated in 1993. He was a great player when he played like my father who used to be a playmaker. My father was the eldest of his siblings and it’s been a while that my father had a good basketball career when he turned pro at the age of 19. When he returned to my school to coach our program, he vowed to make the program being one of the dominant teams in Ōta again” said Takehiro.

“Whoa. That was a lot of history out there in this school’s basketball program. I’m sure that it was a very long time to take the prefectural title after the endless memories coming out in their program” said Hiroshi Ōtsuka.

    “Yeah” said Takehiro.

“So, what happened to that exhibition tournament last year?” asked Seiichirō.

“Unfortunately, when our program was suspended, we were barred from participating from any tournament last year. However, one of the teams from Setagaya had made it to the Nationals last year” said Takehiro.

“Wow! That was very cool! I’m sure that they’re very tough to beat since they have their own production of players that are strong!” said Seiya Miyazawa.

“Yep. The Tamagawa Seigakuin High School had been able to make it to the Nationals last year where they have a successful quarterfinal finish” said Shin.

“That’s awesome! I can’t believe that they’re very brave enough to make it to the Nationals. It feels like they’re not going to lose their willpower when they’re playing in the court” said Hyūma Atsuzawa.

“Yeah, Hyūma-san. They were led by Toshikazu Hoshino and their ace Yūto Inaba” said Takehiro.

“Are they third years?” asked Seijirō.

“It’s just Toshikazu, who left last school year after his graduation. For Yūto, this is his final year in Tamagawa Seigakuin, saying that he’s willing to enroll in the Komanzawa University. Toshikazu had enrolled in the Rissho University where he is currently a first year collegiate student” said Takehiro.

“Well, I hope that we will see him in action again, but I would say that he’s ready to develop his career when he’s moving to another level” said Chihiro.

    “Yeah” said Takehiro and Shin.

“What are the other traditions in your program would be like?” asked Hiroshi Ōtsuka.

“During the Crimson Festival, we used to bring some torches as a sign of bringing the school’s culture being preserved to make sure that they’ll have their own time to show their willpower” said Takehiro.

“Well, that would be cool to see some big inspiration to make the school prospered for their blessings” said Hisao.

“Yep. The Crimson Festival is our school festival where it was held in the month of September. During that event, everyone wears the crimson-colored shirts to represent three things that they need to remember: faith, prosperity and empowerment” said Shin.

“Ah, I see! I hope that we will be able to celebrate that event this year. I bet that the student council are hopefully going to bring new ideas to celebrate that event” said Satoyuki.

“Yeah, I agree. Speaking of which, the student assembly has been held every month of May while the student elections will be held in the month of October. Probably, we will be waiting for some announcements about the student elections, but as for the student assembly, it happened today” said Takehiro.

“Wow! Good thing that we will have some more blessed students to make sure that they’ll keep the three symbols of our school” said Yoshiteru Hamano.

    “Of course, Yoshiteru-kun!” said Takehiro.

“Another tradition what we have made is that during the Interhigh prefectural tournament, we wore a special reddish-like jersey, which was used when the Dragons of Ōta was existed at the time” said Shin.

“Wait a minute, are you part of the Dragons of Ōta, Mizusaki-sensei?” asked Kazushi Ōsaki.

“Yeah, Kazushi-san. I recruited you and Shōzō-san, Yoshiteru-san and Kageyasu-san to be part of the Dragons of Ōta, but then, that Noboru-sama had kicked me out for my biggest mistake when I assaulted Tsubasa last year. That guy made me be the enemy because of this” said Shin.

“Hey, Mizusaki-sensei! You and Noboru are not friends, right?” asked Seijirō.

“Uh, not that I haven’t met him once” said Shin.

“Ah, I see. You must be one year away from us, Mizusaki-sensei” said Kazushi.

“And then, getting flunked out of school due to your actions against her. Well, I don’t think that you have made your career very well, but you’re not very careful what you have done to her” said Seiichirō.

“Yeah, I understand what you’re saying, but, it’s not worth it that I have kicked out of this team last year” said Shin.

“Well, you made an apology to her and her father, Shin-san. There’s nothing concern about this, but the only thing you need to work on is to meet her again, so that there will be no biggest mistakes going to happen” said Takehiro.

“Yeah, I understand, Takehiro-sensei. One day, I must be more careful about what my actions right now. If I became a berserk again, I would be goner for sure” said Shin.

“Then, don’t raise your temper and don’t lose your coolness when you meet a girl. That’s what you need to work out for, Mizusaki-sensei” said Takehiro.

“Yeah, I understand, Takehiro-sensei. I’ll try my best” said Shin.

    “That’s good” said Takehiro.

“So, wait a minute, is Shin and Noboru were on the same hometown?” asked Chihiro.

“Yeah, Chihiro-san. You see, Noboru and I were living in the same hometown, but in different streets. We were born in Ōmori Nishi, but in a different gap of age. I’m older than Noboru and I was supposedly try my best to be the best player, but my dreams have been crushed because of my craziness last year” said Shin.

“I hope that Noboru will finally understand about what you’re doing to Tsubasa when the Dragons of Ōta is now back in business” said Seijirō.

“Yeah, I will, Seijirō-san” said Shin.

“Well, then, I should continue this conversation before we’ll go another round of training” said Takehiro.

“Yeah!” said the first years and the members of the reserve team of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team.

“The last thing about the traditions in our team is that we go to different places to train where it will give more efforts to improve their skills and attributes. This was used when we’re going to participate at the summer tournament we used to participate. However, for this year, since our school’s main color is crimson, I think that we’re going to plan on an intense training to be held at some point. If we’re able to make it to the Top 20 in the best high school basketball teams in Tokyo, they usually get qualified to the Winter Cup qualifiers, in order to determine the two teams to represent in Tokyo” said Takehiro.

“Crimson is mostly dominant in Saitama, Tochigi, Kanagawa and Chiba. Even in the borders of Western Tokyo and Central Tokyo” said Shin.

“Hopefully, we can find a specific place to train and we will do that once we’re all set to get our chance of making it to the Winter Cup soon” said Takehiro.

“Wow! That’s very neat! I’m sure that we would be able to work on that one once we’re able to fulfill our expectations in our campaign for the Interhigh prefectural tournament” said Seiichirō.

“Yeah, Seiichirō-san. We’ll try our best to get to the Nationals and hopefully, we’ll finally make it” said Takehiro.

“Yeah!” said the first years and the members of the reserve team of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team.

“Now, who wants to go for another round of training?” asked Shin.

“We do!” said the first years and the members of the reserve team of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team.

“Then, let’s continue the training!” said Takehiro.

“Yeah!” said the first years and the members of the reserve team of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team.

The training would continue as the first years and the members of the reserve team of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team are doing the obstacle activity where the player must dribble the ball while trying to get away from the cones and then, shoot the ball in the post. This will test their speed and acceleration, in which they’re coming from the category of athleticism. Seiichirō was able to make the fastest play in the obstacle challenge. His speed and acceleration were the best attributes for him while his three-point shooting regimen was also efficient for him to be a shot creator.

Then, in the scrimmage battle between the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team against Seiichirō’s own group, Seiichirō was able to shine with his performance against the kouhais and senpais. Seiichirō had even pleased the Furukawas and Shin when he performed the posterizer on Subaru. Seiichirō and Subaru were good shooters and they have their own ability to shine with their auras.

By the end of the training, Takeshi talks to the members of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team, even those from the reserve team. His son Takehiro and Shin are standing beside Takeshi.

“So, it looks like our new players have gone a good performance over the kouhais and senpais in another round of scrimmage. I guess that we might finally have a good player to be part of our team, son” said Takeshi.

“Yeah, otōsan. Since Ōta is near the border between Tokyo and Kanagawa, we’re in a good shape to produce a player that came from the latter like Seiichirō. I would be expecting that Seiichirō will be playing as a role player that he can come out from the bench” said Takehiro.

“Yes, I agree, my son. Since then, the crimson-colored high school basketball teams have developed the red-haired players who came from either in our hometown or its neighboring areas. I would be more delighted if we can keep that tradition to make sure that we will finally become stronger” said Takeshi.

    “Yep. I agree!” said Takehiro.

    “Of course, Coach!” said Shin.

“Before I’ll be announcing something important, I want all of you to say a belated “Happy Birthday” to one of our new members in our team, Chihiro Himejima” said Takeshi.

Everyone would shout together to say ‘Happy Birthday’ to Chihiro. “Belated happy birthday, Chihiro-san!”

“Thanks, everyone! I knew that you guys have finally known about my birthday!” said Chihiro.

“Yes, it is, Chihiro-san, we made a small birthday party in your home at the boarding house in Nishina” said Seiichirō.

“Yep. You and my friends in the boarding house were having fun during a mini-birthday party” said Chihiro.

“Yeah, I agree, Chihiro-san!” said Seiichirō.

“By the way, Chihiro-san, I’m sure that you had a lot of blessings during your mini-birthday party with your friends, but I want to tell you that you need to be strong and confident to be part of our varsity team” said Takeshi.

“Hopefully, I will entrust you to step up for our team” said Takehiro.

“Okay, I got it!” said Chihiro.

“Now, back to what I’m saying, I have an announcement to make, boys” said Takeshi.

“What is it, Takeshi-sensei?” asked Subaru.

“You see, last month, we have won three straight practice games and led to a championship in the Young Players Cup. Now, there will be more practice matches for us, so that we’ll prepare ourselves for the upcoming Interhigh prefectural tournament. Speaking of which, our program will play against 5 different high schools for the month of May and June. It is expected that the first game will be held on May 18 and the last game will be held on June 7” said Takeshi.

“Oh! That’s very interesting news, Takeshi-sensei! It looks like we’re going to have another set of opponents to battle with!” said Subaru.

“It will be better to make our pre-season going up right before entering to the Interhigh” said Kazunari.

“Yes, boys, I agree. But we don’t know the names of the schools that we’re going to face with. As far as I know, every year, we battled against different teams that are coming from its neighboring areas such as Setagaya, Meguro, Shinagawa, Kawasaki, Inagi, Komae, Chōfu, Mitaka and Musashino. It improved the players’ strengths and abilities to work together to make sure they’ll get the win by the end of the match. As for this season, not only we will battle against the crimson-colored high school basketball teams, but also we’ll battle against some from the northern part of Tokyo” said Takehiro.

“Well, that would be much challenging to make us prepared for the Interhigh prefectural tournament. I mean, we’re not in the rankings yet” said Takumi.

“Of course, Ōhara-san. In a report by the High School Basketball Monthly, they said that we’re considered a dark horse that may possibly bring back the glory to dominance right after the unfortunate events happened in Ōta. Now, I wonder what kind of matches we’re going to face with” said Takeshi.

“I think that we should battle against my rival Ryuuichi Suga and his school” said Subaru.

    “What school, Subaru-kun?” asked Takehiro.

“The Itoda Business High School” said Subaru.

“Oh, I get it. That rival of yours had been the top player in Ōta even he is not enrolling in most of the schools in our hometown” said Shin.

“Yep. Shin promised to me that one day, both my school and his school will face each other. I would be wondering if there are a lot of players who can step up to shine while rallying alongside their teammates in the court. That’s how the secret of victory all about” said Subaru.

“I think that you’re right, Subaru-kun. The Itoda Business High School in Minato were ranked 25th this year, but they almost got listed in the honorable mention list” said Takeshi.

“Right now, they’re planning to make it to the block semifinals after they failed to meet their expectations last year” said Takehiro.

“So, have you planned on that one?” asked Kazunari.

“Uh, I don’t know if their head coach had accepted a match for us, but they’re not yet answered yet” said Takeshi.

“Well, we will wait for it until their head coach had agreed to have a match between them and us” said Subaru.

“Exactly, Subaru-kun. On the other hand, since I was born in Setagaya, I had proposed a match to different schools, especially the Tamagawa Seigakuin” said Takeshi.

“Tamagawa Seigakuin High School. Hey, I know that school!” said Itaru.

    “What is it?” asked Takehiro.

“They were one of the three teams who have made it to last year’s Nationals” said Itaru.

“They even have a lot of shooting players because they are good in post and three-point shooting” said Mitsuhiro Nagakura.

“That’s right, Mitsuhiro-kun. We watched the Nationals last year and they’re totally dominant with their scoring performance of their former captain Toshikazu Hoshino” said Takehiro.

“So, who is their captain for this year?” asked Kenshō.

“It was their former ace Yūto Inaba while their new ace is the son of one of the Kawasaki Red Maple Leaves” said Takeshi.

“His name is Kazuma Takasago. His father’s name is Kazunori Takasago” said Takehiro.

“Hey, I think that guy is your friend at your home, Seiichirō” said Banri.

“Yeah, Banri-kun. Kazuma and I were used to play with each other when we’re in Kawasaki. Now that we split up due to him moving to Setagaya. I believe that he’s aiming to be on the top” said Seiichirō.

“So, what position for him?” asked Ryōta Sugihara.

“He is playing small forward because he had a good strength while holding the ball. He can make layups with just one hand” said Seiichirō.

“Those things about him would make him be a talented player that loved to play basketball” said Subaru.

“Yeah, I agree, Subaru-kun. I’ll make sure that he will wait for me very soon. Once he’s there, I think that I will be ready to face him” said Seiichirō.

“I hope so, Seiichirō-san” said Subaru.

“So, that’s all what I have to say about that announcement. We’ll wait for some updates on Tuesday and then, we’ll settle our plans for the first match of another set of warm-up matches before the tournament” said Takeshi before he blows his whistle to call the end of the training. “Let’s meet again on Tuesday. Everyone, you may dismiss.”

“Got it!” said the members of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team.

Later, after a quick shower, the members of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team leave the gymnasium as they’re about to head back home. Only Subaru, Kazunari, Banri, Seiichirō, Seijirō, Naomori, Mitsuhiro and Ryōta are talking with each other while heading their way back home.

“Seiichirō, what is your family background?” asked Naomori.

“Well, my parents have been born in Kanagawa. Shinobu is a basketball player while Shizue is a medical doctor. I also had my uncles and aunts from both sides, which were very close to me and my parents. My cousin Miyu is the daughter of the brother of my father, Masaharu, while Erika is the daughter of another brother of my father, Fumitake. Fumitake lived in Shizuoka after he graduated in Kawasaki to be with his wife Eri. I had four siblings: two brother and two sisters. They have lived in Setagaya before I moved there this year. My father is now coaching a high school basketball team in Setagaya while my mother now works in a public hospital in the same place” said Seiichirō.

“I used to live in Kawasaki when I was a little boy where I saw you playing basketball in the court. You must be one of the players that have potential to become the best player soon” said Naomori.

“Yep. I wanted to play for a better program, which is the main reason why I choose Nashiba to be my high school basketball team for my high school career. My older brother Shinsuke studied in Setagaya as a second year high school student while my other brother Shōichi studied in Ōmori Daijū Middle School as a second year middle school student. My two younger sisters have studied in elementary school. Setsuna, a sixth grade elementary school student, and Suzuka, a fifth elementary school student, were currently stayed in the Kugahara Elementary School” said Seiichirō.

“Wow! You must be joking, Seiichirō-kun! Your siblings are not in the same school!” said Ryōta.

“Yeah, Ryōta. Shinsuke wanted to play in Setagaya while the rest of us have transferred from Kawasaki this year, so that we can study in Tokyo” said Seiichirō.

“I’m sure that you have learned new things in Nashiba, Seiichirō. There are a lot of teachers who have great skills in making the students like us excelled” said Naomori.

“Oh, I get it now, Naomori. My adviser and science teacher Nobutaka Nagato had impressed me of my participation in his class. He used to be discussing some topics before giving me and my fellow classmates a challenge. I was able to ace on that five times” said Seiichirō.

“Wow! That was a smart move out there, Seiichirō-kun! I never expect to have your IQ being greater than I am” said Seijirō.

“Yep. I wanted to be the best in basketball and academics, so that I will get a scholarship. Otherwise, I may want to study in a medical university while joining their basketball team” said Seiichirō.

“I thought that you said that you want to live up with your dreams with your father. Why are you planning to become a doctor?” said Banri.

“Well, my mother had been staying in Kawasaki when she was married to my father. She had taken care of her patients in her former hospital. Also, she used to take care of me when I was sick last year” said Seiichirō.

“What sickness you have when you’re taken care by your mother, Seiichirō-kun?” asked Kazunari.

“I was suffering a high fever after the sports festival. I was exhausted after I have participated in one of the events at the sports festival before I collapsed to the ground. I drained a lot of stamina, which results of losing my energy when I tried to catch up against my opponents from different groups” said Seiichirō.

“That was terrible, Seiichirō-kun. I believe that your energy had been losing when you’re trying to win the race, but thank goodness, you’re still alive though” said Kazunari.

“Yeah, Kazunari-kun. Whenever I had practice with my former team, the Kawanakajima Middle School, I had to keep an eye on my energy while I’m playing. If I’m playing too much, I must stop for a bit, but if I want to use less energy, I will do so” said Seiichirō.

“So, you must be taking care of your energy when you’re have a training with your teammates. I believe that you have applied that before in your former school” said Subaru.

“Yep. I used that just to make sure that I’m good enough to groove with my moves” said Seiichirō.

“Good for you, Seiichirō-san. I hope that you’re going to make you alright when you’re going to step into the court. We’ll be watching for you. I promise” said Subaru.

    “You got it!” said Seiichirō.

“I have a question, Seiichirō-kun, if you don’t mind. When you have a relationship with Miyu?” said Mitsuhiro.

“Uh, she’s my cousin, Mitsuhiro-kun. I used to live in Setagaya, but Miyu had lived in Yukigaya-Ōtsuka. Which means, we’re close with each other. Also, Miyu’s older brother Hokuto had owned a restaurant business, which serves grilled chicken barbeque. Have you gone there to eat in his restaurant?” said Seiichirō.

“Well, not yet, Seiichirō-san” said Ryōta.

    “Me neither” said Naomori.

“I never heard about that before” said Seijirō.

“You see, I often visited his restaurant if I want to eat grilled chicken barbeque. He made those as the most sizzling and delicious chicken barbeque in Ōta” said Seiichirō.

“Well, I should give it a try, Seiichirō-san” said Ryōta.

    “Yeah, me too!” said Naomori.

“Oh, me too, Seiichirō-san! We should go there to eat that grilled chicken barbeque!” said Seijirō.

“Of course, you can, guys! I can take you there if we don’t have assignments to do” said Seiichirō.

“Okay!” said Ryōta, Naomori and Seijirō.

“I’m getting craved with that special chicken barbeque, but I’m also interested in roasted beef” said Kazunari.

“Ah, yes! They also served that too with the special marinated sauce. I hope that you can eat that for yourself” said Seiichirō.

“Yeah! If I will go to his restaurant, we’ll eat there!” said Kazunari.

“Oh, sure, Kazunari-kun. By my guest. You can let your friends Subaru and Banri give a try of my cousin’s grilled chicken barbeque” said Seiichirō.

    “Yes, I will!” said Kazunari.

Later, a phone was beeping in Subaru’s sling bag. Subaru would get his phone while saying to his teammates. “Hey, I’ll get to this, guys. Just a moment.” Subaru reads a text message and to his surprise, it was Kazuhiro Hatakenaka. “Oh, my goodness. They’re back, guys.”

    “Who is it?” asked Seijirō.

“It’s Kazuhiro-kun. He and the Bravehearts of Fukuoka have just arrived at the Tokyo Station” said Subaru.

“I think that they’re going to be back for the Blue Wind Cup” said Seiichirō.

“That’s right, Seiichirō-kun. A lot of community teams mostly from the southern Japan will be squaring off at the Recreational Center in the Misawa Resort Hotel. It will be a two-day tournament, which is going to be one of the pre-season high school basketball tournaments to be held this month” said Subaru.

“But that’s not all, Subaru. They’re also going to witness your father’s return to basketball as his team will battle against the All-Stars” said Kazunari.

“Of course, Kazunari-kun! We should be ready to meet Kazuhiro and his team again. He said that his boys from the Kashii Gakuen High School boys’ basketball team will be competing in that tournament. I hope that we will see them later in the court” said Subaru.

“Alright! We should be going to the Recreational Center to watch that Blue Wind Cup!” said Seijirō.

“Yeah! I’m so excited about the talented players from the south going on against each other!” said Banri.

“Yeah, Banri-kun!” said Subaru with a wink on his left eye. “Now, let’s go back and watch the tournament!”

“Okay!” said Kazunari, Banri, Seiichirō, Seijirō, Naomori, Mitsuhiro and Ryōta. Tomoka’s group and Subaru’s group have worked hard on their trainings in their respective schools, the Keishin Academy Middle School and the Nashiba High School. While the Homewrecking Dragons will be held at the mansion of the Misawa Resort, the Blue Wind Cup will be held at the Recreational Center. This will be the exciting night for the Bravehearts and their allies to organize those big events as the Fuchsia and Celadon Week will about to end tomorrow night.

Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

Here is the profile of the Keishin Academy Middle School girls’ basketball team, which is led by Azumi Ogawa, the leader of the Pink and Plum-Section 9. The team also had a reserve team for the players who haven’t made it to the main team. The recent issue of this team is the roster limit, which even their elementary school girls’ basketball team had been formed last year, they’re not gonna be able to limit the roster to just 15 players in the main team.

Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

Last January 17 (Friday), it was a double birthday celebration as they were the birthdays of Hanayo Koizumi (Love Live!) and Kiri Mukae (Ongaku Shoujo). Hanayo is a member of µ’s, always being shy and panicked when she had gotten into a situation either on her or her friends and is interested in drawing and origami while, on the other hand, Kiri is the older sister of Uori Mukae (CV: Yui Ogura) and an adamant and mindful high school student as she was part of the Music Girls. Hanayo is voiced by Yurika Kubo while Kiri is voiced by Sumire Uesaka. Belated happy birthday, Hanayo and Kiri! Also, this update will be dedicated to Reina Ueda, whose birthday was last January 17 (Friday), Misaki Kuno, whose birthday was tonight (January 19), and Marina Inoue, whose birthday will be tomorrow (January 20). Reina is the voice actress of Mallow (Pokémon Sun and Moon), Akane Shinjō (SSSS.GRIDMAN) and Miyako Hoshino (Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!/Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me); Misaki is the voice actress of Mimi Balguerie (Ro-Kyu-Bu!) and Marina is the voice actress of Kili Surt Muspelheim (Unlimited Fafnir) and Sakura Kagamihara (Yurucamp/Laid-Back Camp). Hopefully, Reina, Misaki and Marina will continue to make progress of their voice acting career! Belated happy birthday, Reina, and happy birthday, Misaki and Marina! Now, onto tonight’s update as it’s time to get prospered with their hopes and dreams with the Homewrecking Dragons!

The next chapter I’m going to be posting tonight will be the beginning of a new year for the Homewrecking Dragons as they are going to throw a general assembly at the hall of the Misawa Resort Hotel. Just like Exploration Party of the Dragons Explorers Club of the Keishin Academy Middle School, which was held yesterday (Chapter 157), the Homewrecking Dragons will begin another year of hope and prosperity as every member had been invited to attend the general assembly. If you’re ready to be prospered with their hopes and dreams, it’s time to celebrate a new year for the Homewrecking Dragons as here comes Chapter 160! Enjoy reading Chapter 160!

Ever since its formation two years ago, the Homewrecking Dragons have organized their general assembly every year to start their new year. This year, with the collaboration with the Bravehearts, their general assembly will take place at the hall of the mansion of the Misawa Resort Hotel as part of the festivities of the Fuchsia and Celadon Week. The Homewrecking Dragons begin the general assembly with the introductory speech by Natsumi Yamazaki, its club president, and then, give their members to participate at the activities. There are seven groups that are present at the general assembly. Five of which, composed of Higabana, Kuchinashi, Katsura, Akamatsu and Kuromatsu, were the groups that were existed last year while two new groups, Sugi and Sakura, were established recently when the club had been expanded this year. After the activities, Natsumi leads the testimonial dinner where the former and current members of the Homewrecking Dragons have gathered with each other to celebrate a new year in their club. While everyone had enjoyed their dinner, they watch a video about a short story that was made by Hitomi Takao and Dairoku Kaji. The short story was about a kitsune meeting with a swordsman during the early Kamakura period. The short story was a memento for Tomoka, who had left the club to transfer to the Keishin Academy Elementary School. So, Hitomi and Dairoku created that story as a supposed farewell gift for Tomoka, even Tomoka was able to remember her past in Shiromidai. Tomoka and her friends leave the party for a while when the doorbell had been rung and they were surprised that Keiko Kakuma and her friends from the Bravehearts of Fukuoka and the Stormred Higabana were there for another visit. While Kazuhiro and his friends have been competing in the Blue Wind Cup, Keiko and her friends will be staying with Tomoka and her friends for at least two days. With the celebration of a new era had been prospered, it seems that the Homewrecking Dragons are ready to bring their hopes and dreams to be fulfilled this year as they’re going to work together and continue being one of the rising explorers’ club in Ōta.

VOLUME 8: “A NEW ANGELIC AND HARMONIOUS ERA IN ŌTA”
CHAPTER 160: “BRINGING NEW DESIRES FOR A NEW YEAR OF PROSPERITY

The Homewrecking Dragons, a young exploration club in the Shiromidai Elementary School will begin their new year as they’ll organize their first activity for this school year, the general assembly. It is the event where all members will gather together to start their new life in the club after they registered their names to be part of the club.

At the mansion of the Misawa Resort Hotel, the members of the Homewrecking Dragons are staying in one line as they’ll register their names for the general assembly of the club. Present at the welcoming desk are Shigeru Hirashita and Minako Asuka, who were asking the members to register at the paper.

“Step right up, everyone!” said Shigeru.

“Come and join our party!” said Minako Asuka.

At the living room, Kōme, Yuzuha and Natsumi are looking at the members of their club.

“I’m glad that they’re all here for our event tonight!” said Yuzuha.

“Yep. It looks like we’re ready to organize this event in about 30 minutes” said Natsumi.

“I’m sure that they’re excited to see this event because not only this is the beginning of a new era, but also the beginning of a new destiny to make everyone happy” said Kōme.

“I feel good for them, Kiriyu-sama. It’s going to be a biggest party in our club, which happened last year when Hitomi-sama had made that party with a lot of members have enjoyed their happiness there” said Yuzuha.

“Ah, yes! I remember that one, Yuzuha! I had to say that Hitomi had the job done in making the general assembly successful last year. Now this year, it’s the three of us to make this successful” said Natsumi.

“You got that right, Natsumi!” said Kōme.

“Yeah, we should go for it!” said Yuzuha.

Tomoka would enter to the mansion of the Misawa Resort Hotel, alongside her groupmates from her team, Team Minato. “Hi, everyone!”

“Hi, Tomoka and the team! It’s so nice that you are all here for the general assembly of our club!” said Kōme.

“Yeah, Kōme-san! This is going to be awesome with all members are here!” said Tomoka.

“Yeah, I agree, Tomoka!” said Kōme.

“It’s great to have a lot of members out there in our club, which will be good for us to have a bigger general assembly to be held in a different place rather than in our school” said Natsumi.

“Which means, a lot of excitement is coming in our way to make our members entertained and enjoyed” said Yuzuha.

“Well, I hope that things will go better to make sure that your club members will be smiling and joyful” said Tomoka.

“Yeah!” said Kōme, Yuzuha and Natsumi.

“By the way, Kōme-san, where is Megumi?” asked Nami Takashirō.

“She’s at the hall right now. She had organized last night’s event, which is the Exploration Party of the Dragons Explorers Club, which means that she’s going to set up our event alongside her group, the Family of Angels” said Kōme.

“Alright! Now, we will have to find out what the hall would be looked like” said Nami Takashirō.

“Yeah, Nami-san! It’s going to be fantastic and awesome to make the event sounds magnificent!” said Tomoka.

“I agree, Tomoka. Anyway, since you and your friends are guests for this event, you can come to the hall right now. We’ll be seeing you later” said Kōme.

“Okay!” said Tomoka and her friends from her own group as they’re heading to the hall of the mansion where the members of the Family of Angels have set up the tables and chairs for the Homewrecking Dragons’ General Assembly.

    “Wow!” said Tomoka.

    “Amazing!” said Nami Takashirō.

“Look at this magnificent view of this hall!” said Maho.

    “It’s so beautiful!” said Saki.

“The place is now magnificent!” said Kagetsu.

“Just like the last night’s event!” said Mimi.

“I’m sure that they have gone working on the set up for any event that their allies organized in this place” said Yukari Narasaki.

“Yeah, Yukari-san! My friends have worked hard on coordinating with their allies in setting up the events, so that the guests will be happy to see the beauty of the event” said Tomoka.

“Are they coming from the Management Committee?” asked Ayame Tsukuba.

“Uh, some of them have join the management committee while others have joined different clubs. Megumi had joined the Keishin Academy Event Circle” said Tomoka.

“Each member of a braveheart group have their own clubs and committees to join with. For the school committees, they are the student council, the class committee, the health committee, the welfare committee, the public relations committee, the life committee, the library committee, the broadcasting committee and the management committee” said Saki.

“For the school activity clubs, they are composed of the sporting clubs, the academic and social clubs, the technology clubs and the ideological clubs” said Airi.

“The school had operated a lot of activity clubs and school committees, which makes the students have interests on those activities that reflect their lives when they have made their own hobbies to go with” said Hinata.

“School participation is always the key to make sure that the students will get incentives by the teachers if you have done a great job in doing a good activity” said Chinami.

“I agree, Chinami-san. Those members from the Family of Angels have worked hard to make the events successful and hopefully, when they’ll grow up, they’ll be able to work together to make their plans and do their jobs to finish with” said Teruko.

“You got that right, Teruko-san!” said Tomoka. When Megumi sees Tomoka and her friends, she would meet them. “Oh, hi, Megumi-san! How’s the setup?”

“We pretty did well, Tomoka-san. Even we came from the Keishin Academy, we can also contribute the events that are organized by different organizations to make them more beautiful and cuter” said Megumi.

“It sure is beautiful and cute, Megumi-san!” said Tomoka before she shouts at her fellow friends from the Family of Angels. “Hurry up, team! The members of the Homewrecking Dragons will be entering to this place soon.”

“Just make sure that the designs won’t fall to the tables!” said Megumi.

“Okay!” said the members of the Family of Angels.

“Now, once the event will begin, it’s time to see what the new members of the Homewrecking Dragons will do for this event!” said Tomoka.

“Yeah!” said the members of Team Minato and Megumi.

Yurika Kirishima and her friends have arrived at the mansion of the Misawa Resort Hotel where they’ll be ready to meet with the Family Angels. Yurika and her group formed the Periwinkle Storm Lions, a group based in Higashi Kamata.

“Is this the home of the Family of Angels?” asked Nagisa Sugimoto, a first year middle school student from the Tōho Middle School.

“I guess so, Nagisa-san. I recognized Hitomi and her friends since I’m a former member of the Homewrecking Dragons. We should see meet them again” said Yurika Kirishima, a first year middle school student from the Tōho Middle School.

“Yeah!” said Nagisa and the other members of the Periwinkle Storm Lions.

    “Now, let’s go!” said Yurika.

“Okay!” said Nagisa and the other members of the Periwinkle Storm Lions as they and Yurika would enter to the mansion where it is now illuminated with violet and lavender lights.

“What a nice glow-in-the-dark lighting out here!” said Ao Matsui, a member of the Periwinkle Storm Lions.

“That was so angelic!” said Itsuki Manabe, a member of the Periwinkle Storm Lions.

“It looks like they have created a lot of work to make the area illuminating with their own lights” said Nobuteru Tanaka, a member of the Periwinkle Storm Lions.

“Yeah, Tanaka-san. I believe that they have done this before when I was in Shiromidai where my former class had a Christmas Party with the illuminating lights being shone” said Yurika.

“Yeah! We know about that, Yurika-san!” said Noriko Yamamoto, a member of the Periwinkle Storm Lions.

“Me too! It was so good to make me gleam to see the lights out there!” said Haruka Shinomiya, a member of the Periwinkle Storm Lions.

“I agree, girls! Now, let’s see what’s inside in the hall” said Yurika.

“Okay!” said the members of the Periwinkle Storm Lions. The members of the Periwinkle Storm Lions would enter to the hall where they were surprised to see the current members of the Homewrecking Dragons being present in their tables.

“Looks like my former club had recruited a lot of members out there!” said Yurika.

“They are surely going to be reinforced to do their progress this year. Thanks to Hitomi, that club had been popular in your former school” said Shigeru Matsuba, a member of the Periwinkle Storm Lions and a first year middle school student from the Hasunuma Middle School. He is a former student from the Tōho Elementary School.

“Yeah, I agree, Matsuba-san! We should watch the event, everyone!” said Yurika.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Periwinkle Storm Lions.

While the members of the Periwinkle Storm Lions are taking their seats at the guest table, the members of the Homewrecking Dragons are excited as Ryōhei, Kōme and Yuzuha, who are the emcees for the event, are speaking to them.

“Welcome, everyone, to the general assembly of our club, the Homewrecking Dragons!” said Ryōhei Matsuoka.

The members of the Homewrecking Dragons are cheering in excitement, which makes Natsumi, Kōme and Yuzuha happy. Kōme would speak to the members of her own club. “Now, as you all know, this is the first time that our club’s general assembly had been taking place in a different location.”

“Thankfully, the hall of the mansion of the Misawa Resort Hotel would be the best place to organize this general assembly for this school year” said Yuzuha.

“Are you excited for this?” asked Kōme.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Good! Now, because this year is going to be different than the last year’s general assembly, we will have some exciting games you’re going to participate. I hope that you’ll be able to active in tonight’s games we’ll be giving just for you” said Ryōhei.

“Hooray!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“But before we start this event, we’ll start introducing ourselves, so that you’ll remember our names for sure” said Ryōhei. “Let’s start with me. My name is Ryōhei Matsuoka, your secretary for this school year: 2010-2011.”

“My name is Kōme Ogi. I’m the vice present for this school year.”

“And I’m Yuzuha Aigae and I’m your sergeant-at-arms of our club for this school year.”

“Tonight, we will be making sure that you’re all going to be entertained and enjoyed for this year’s general assembly. Now that you have registered your names in the registration list earlier, we’ll be giving you away some freebies from the Bravehearts” said Ryōhei.

“For this year, we will be dividing our club into seven groups: Higabana (Red spider lily), Kuchinashi (Cape jasmine), Katsura (Cercidiphyllum japonicum), Akamatsu (Japanese red pine), Kuromatsu (Japanese black pine), Sugi (Japanese cedar) and Sakura (cherry blossom). The seven groups will be competing for this year’s general assembly. It will be a pleasure to make sure that all of you will participate, so that you’ll get earned a reward.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Now, it’s time to introduce you to our president of our club for this school year: 2010-2011, Natsumi Yamazaki!” said Kōme.

“Let’s give her a round of applause!” said Yuzuha. The members of the Homewrecking Dragons clap their hands together as they’re giving their applause to the present of the club.

Ryōhei gives the microphone to Natsumi as she is honored to do her speech. Natsumi clears her throat before speaking to her microphone. “Good evening, everyone! It’s been an honor that all of you have participated in this year’s general assembly of the Homewrecking Dragons. I hope that you have found new hopes for you to make you blessed with desires and dreams for this school year. Now, I’ll introduce myself for those who don’t know about me. My name is Natsumi Yamazaki. I’m the President of the Homewrecking Dragons and it’s been a while that our Homewrecking Dragons have continued to grow together since its founding two years ago.”

While Natsumi would continue her speech, the scene shows the random members of the Homewrecking Dragons. “So, as you entered to this club, we have a lot of things to work on, which is going to be composed of researches, explorations and expositions where everyone will bring their happiness when we’re going out for adventure. This year, we have 109 members being part of our group, which is half of the previous number of members, which was very nice. I believe that the numbers are still growing and hopefully, we’ll have more members to join next school year. That’s all what I’m going to say right now. We are going to start this general assembly with the explanation of tagline for this year. It is going to be ‘Bringing new desires for a new year of prosperity.’ It means that with the Era of Fuchsia and Celadon had begun, it will be a new year of hope and prosperity to bring desires to the community of the Shiromidai Elementary School as we’ll continue to make progress to become one of the popular young exploration clubs in Tokyo. So, hopefully, by the end of the event, you’ll finally get ready to make the difference for this year. Thank you very much and enjoy this lovely and magnificent event, everyone!”

Natsumi would give the microphone to Ryōhei before the latter would speak on his microphone. “Thank you very much, Miss President. Okay, it seems that you’re all excited for games. Am I right?”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Great! Now, for the first game, it will be the ‘question and answer’ activity. Each team must answer the questions we’re going to ask you. Of course, this is not just a ‘question and answer’ activity we always do, but you need to win this activity by getting five correct answers” said Ryōhei.

“If you get five correct answers, you need to say the tagline for this year. The questions we’re going to give you will be displayed in your table beneath the name of your group being assigned. Make sure that you need to answer all questions in 5 minutes before you say the tagline” said Kōme.

“So, are you understand about this?” asked Yuzuha.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“That’s great, guys! So, if you don’t have any questions about this game, then, let’s start this activity!” said Yuzuha.

“Okay!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Now, open the envelope to see the five questions” said Ryōhei. Each leader of the seven groups have opened the envelope. Inside the envelope is the questions about the destinations of the cities. “So, you need to analyze which cities goes first. The trick is that there will be two papers. One, which is from Tokyo to the north, and the other is from Tokyo to the west.”

“Now, read the questions carefully before you answer it on a piece of paper. In five minutes, you must answer all the questions carefully. If you don’t know about the question, then think first” said Kōme.

“Make sure that you need to shout the tagline in front of us, so that we need the answers of your paper right after you shout. Is that okay?” said Yuzuha.

“Okay!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Then, get ready, everyone. In three…” said Ryōhei.

    “Two…” said Kōme.

“One…” said Yuzuha before she would be joined by Ryōhei and Kōme to shout together. “GO!”

The seven groups start reading the questions of the first activity. It would be tricky to find out which cities go first. Not all groups have the same question, but some listed cities being given to one or more group. In order to answer the first activity, they must answer which cities go first. About 4 minutes later, the seven groups are still answering their questions with either one or two blanks left.

“Are you done yet?” asked Kōme.

“Not yet” said some of the members of the Homewrecking Dragons while others have shaken their heads, which means they aren’t done finishing the questions.

“Then, keep answering before it runs out” said Kōme.

“Okay!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

Later, the leader of the Akamatsu Group Kaoru Murakawa and Shōta Shirogane have worked together to finish the last answer of the second paper. Then, Kaoru, Shōta and the members of the Akamatsu Group stand up before walking to the stage to stay the tagline in front of Ryōhei, Kōme and Yuzuha.

“Bringing new desires for a new year of prosperity!” shouted Kaoru, Shōta and the members of the Akamatsu Group.

“Okay, we have one!” said Ryōhei.

    “Who’s next?” asked Yuzuha.

The scene changes to the members of each group have run to the stage to say the tagline, in front of the emcees. The next group to finish were the following: Sugi Group, Higabana Group, Katsura Group, Kuromatsu Group, Kuchinashi Group and Sakura Group.

When the leader of the Sakura Group, Kyōsuke Shimoda, and his groupmates shouted the tagline, Kōme speaks to her microphone once all groups have finished answering all questions.

“Okay, looks like everyone had answered all the questions. So, now, we will check the answers to our staff members if one of the groups have the correct answers of it” said Kōme.

“Just a brief reminder, if one of your answers is not correct, then the rest of those will be wrong as well. Since we got two papers, only one group will get all answers corrected per the two papers. One for the north and one for the west” said Yuzuha.

“So, let’s pass it to the staff members before we’ll find out who will be the two winners of this first activity” said Ryōhei.

A few minutes later, the executive board and the members of the logistics staff, led by Shigeru Hirashita, have given the papers to the emcees.

“Okay, so, let’s start with the first one. The group with the most correct answers for the first category, From Tokyo to the North, is going to be given to the Kuchinashi Group, led by Minako Izumi!” said Yuzuha.

“Let’s give them a round of applause!” said Ryōhei. The members of the Homewrecking Dragons clap their hands for the Kuchinashi Group.

“Your freebies will be given later. So, come to the stage, Kuchinashi Group!” said Kōme.

“Okay!” said Minako Izumi and the members of the Kuchinashi Group as they’re going to the stage to get their freebies later once the other winner will be announced.

“Thank you very much, guys!” said Kōme.

“Now, it’s time to find out who gets all correct answers for the other category, which is From Tokyo to the West” said Ryōhei.

    “Okay!” said Yuzuha and Kōme.

Yuzuha would read the result of the second category as she finally had a winner in the other category. “So, for the other category, From Tokyo to the West, the team with the most correct answers belongs to…”

Naomi Morimoto and Nozomi Hanada play the drumrolls, which were borrowed from Sora Kaneshiro. Yuzuha would finally name the other winner. “…the Akamatsu Group, led by Kaoru Murakawa!”

“Alright! We won the contest, guys!” said Shōta.

“Great job, my groupmates! Now, it’s time to make us blessed for a reward!” said Kaoru.

“Yeah!” said the other members of the Akamatsu Group.

“Please come to the stage, Akamatsu Group! We’ll be giving you some freebies just for you!” said Kōme.

The members of the Akamatsu Group have walked on the way to the stage before they would stand beside the emcees. Senior member Chinami Hamasaki gives the award of the winners of the first activity before Shigeru takes the picture of the winning teams of the first activity.

“Thank you very much for the winners of this contest! You may all go now” said Ryōhei as the Kuchinashi Group and the Akamatsu Group are leaving the stage to go back to their respective tables.

“Now, it’s time to move on to the next activity. So, get ready for some more action!” said Yuzuha.

“Yeah!” said the other members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

The montage shows the next set of games to be made for the general assembly. The second activity would be the Pass the Message Activity, which is won by the Kuromatsu Group, led by Banri Ōnishi and Harumi Kitano. Then, the third activity would be the Relay Race, which is won by the Higabana Group. The fourth activity would be the Complete the Puzzle Activity, which was won by the Sakura Group.

Later, everyone would go outside of the hall for the last activity. This time, this is going to be much interesting as the emcees are going to state the name of the next activity.

“Alright, this is it, everyone! We’re going to move on to the last activity before we’ll eat our very own dinner. Hopefully, you all boys and girls are hungry. Am I right, everyone?” said Yuzuha.

“Yeah!” said the other members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Now, for the last activity before dinner, everyone will be participating the Amazing Race. You need to find six ripped pieces, which can be found in different places. The first place is the living room, the second place is the balcony, the third place is the garden, the fourth place is the ground floor of the hotel, the fifth place is the outdoor basketball court and the final place is the beachfront. When you get all six ripped pieces, you need to complete the puzzle to form a map. Once you’re done, you will come back at the hall for us to check if you found all pieces. And remember, the only thing to win this match is to find the treasure of this game, which can be found at the beachfront. So, are you ready for this?” said Kōme.

“Yeah!” said the other members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Then, let’s start this race, everyone!” said Kōme.

“Okay!” said the other members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

The members of the seven groups would stop at the line that was placed in the end of the hallway where this is the starting line.

Ryōhei holds the megaphone to start the fifth activity. “On your mark… get set… GO!!!” Yuzuha blows the whistle when Ryōhei shouted “GO!!!”, which allows the members of the Homewrecking Dragons to find the missing pieces that can be found on the six places Kōme mentioned.

In the first place, everyone gathered together to find the first piece. The first group to get the first piece was the Sugi Group. Then, the rest of the groups have also found the first piece as well. The next place would be at the balcony. At the room with the balcony, which is Room #12, the members of the Homewrecking Dragons are looking for the second piece of the map. The Kuchinashi Group would be the first group to find the second piece. The Sugi Group and the Akamatsu Group have also found the second piece without trying to lose the first piece. The rest of the groups have done the same thing.

In the third destination, the Kuromatsu Group would be getting the missing piece first at the bougainvillea area of the garden. In the fourth destination, the Katsura Group takes the missing piece after edging out the Kuchinashi Group. In the fifth destination, the Akamatsu Group and the Sugi Group have grabbed the fifth missing piece separately. The Sugi Group had been fast paced in finding the missing pieces as they’re heading down to the beachfront for the last destination of the map.

At the beachfront, Koharu Arihara, the leader of the Sugi Group, asks her groupmates to find the last piece of the map. “Shall we find the last piece?”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Sugi Group.

“Let’s do this, everyone!” said Koharu.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Sugi Group as they start finding the final piece of the map, which is going to be trickier than the first five places. The other groups such as the Sakura Group and the Kuchinashi Group have caught up on the Sugi Group as they’re also trying to find the last piece as well.

While the search for the final piece is ongoing, Mayumi Okada and Shōichi Ōno use their walkie-talkies after observing the groups.

“They’re all at the final destination, Ryōhei-san!” said Mayumi Okada.

“This place may trickier to find the last piece!” said Shōichi Ōno.

At the hallway of the mansion, Ryōhei uses his own walkie-talkie to talk with Mayumi and Shōichi. “Good. Make sure that they’ll be going to the hall once they have found the final piece of the map and the treasure.”

“Okay, I got it!” said Mayumi and Shōichi.

Tomoyo Matsunaga, the cousin of Ryōhei, had looked at the bottle that was buried in the sand. “Hey, Katsuya-san! I found the bottle!”

“Oh, great job, Tomoyo-san! Let’s see what’s inside” said Yūsuke Katsuya.

“Okay!” said Tomoyo as she opens the bottle, which contains the final piece of the map. “It’s the last piece of the map!”

“Great! Now, complete the puzzle to make the map, guys!” said Yūsuke.

“Right!” said the members of the Katsura Group.

The members of the Sugi Group and the Kuromatsu Group have also found the missing piece of the map together while the rest are still finding it. The members of the Katsura Group would finally make the puzzle completed, which means that they’re going to find the treasure.

“X marks the spot, Yūsuke-san! We need to find that ‘X’ in one of the tables out there” said Tomoyo.

“Okay!” said Yūsuke. “Come on, everyone! We should do that faster before the other groups are trying to catch up on us!”

“Okay!” said the members of the Katsura Group. The members of the Katsura Group would read at the map, saying the ‘X’ mark would be in the table that was assigned for each group.

“Now, we need to find that treasure, everyone! Don’t lose your stamina!” said Kaoru Murakawa, the leader of the Akamatsu Group.

“Okay, Murakawa-sama!” said the members of the Akamatsu Group as they’re running to their own table to find the treasure.

“Don’t let them win in this last activity, guys! We should grab that treasure NOW!” said Kyōsuke Shimoda.

“Yes, we will, Shimoda-sama!” said the members of the Sakura Group after they have found the last piece of the map.

When almost everyone went to the tables, they start getting rid of the tablecloth and the table. Then, they start digging out the sand to find the treasure. The members of the Katsura Group have finally found the treasure, which is another bottle.

“We found it, Yūsuke-san!” said Tomoyo.

“Good! Now, let’s go back to the hall right now!” said Yūsuke.

“Okay!” said the members of the Katsura Group.

On the other hand, one of the members of the Sugi Group, Kenta Komiyama, had also found the bottle. “I got it, Arihara-sama!”

“Good! Now, let’s finish this race and fast!” said Koharu.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Sugi Group as they start running with their acceleration before slowing down to take the stairs.

At the garden, the members of the Katsura Group are running on their way to go back to the mansion. As they stop at the entrance of the mansion, the members of the Katsura are managed to catch up at the same time.

“Oh no! We should be hurry, guys! We don’t want to get exhausted all the time!” said Yūsuke.

“Okay!” said Tomoyo and the members of the Katsura Group as they quickly enter the mansion. The members of the Katsura Group follow suit. Then, the rest of the groups have also found the treasure, which means that they’re about to go back to the mansion.

Both Katsura Group and Sugi Group are entering to the hall together, but when they’re about to give the treasure to Ryōhei, Koharu goes first as she edges out Yūsuke in an inch.

“Wow! That was a squeaker! We finally have two teams entering to the hall!” said Kōme.

“Yeah, Kiriyu-sama! It looks like the Sugi Group came first to give the bottle before the Katsura Group. They both battle with their stamina and strength to get the missing pieces” said Yuzuha.

“Well, that means, we’ll finally name the winner of this activity” said Kōme.

    “Yeah!” said Kōme.

“Alright, both Katsura Group and Sugi Group, you must wait for the other teams to enter the hall” said Ryōhei.

“Okay!” said the members of the Katsura Group and Sugi Group as they’re going back to their tables. The rest of the groups have also entered the hall before giving the bottles to Ryōhei.

Later, the executive board of the Homewrecking Dragons are standing in the stage to announce the winner of the last activity. Ryōhei would speak on the microphone. “So, the first groups to enter to the hall were both Katsura Group and Sugi Group. However, as they battle neck-and-neck in the final piece, Koharu gives the bottle to me first before Yūsuke. Which means, we finally have a winner of the last activity. We have the Sugi Group!”

The members of the Sugi Group jump in joy as they have won the last activity of the event. Sanae Matsunami shouts at her groupmates. “Alright, we won the activity, Arihara-sama!”

“Yeah, Sanae-san! We never won an activity before, but we’re finally get earned with that win!” said Koharu.

    “Yeah!” said Sanae Matsunami.

“It’s great that we have worked together, Arihara-sama! That last piece gave us the pressure” said Kenta.

“Of course not, Kenta-san! Now, we should go to the stage and get that reward!” said Koharu.

“Okay!” said the members of the Sugi Group as they’re joining with Koharu to enter the stage. Minako Asuka and Shigeru would give the special ballpoint pens to the members of the Sugi Group.

“Congratulations to the winners of the fifth activity, Sugi Group! Well done!” said Kōme.

“Thank you very much, Kōme-sama!” said Koharu and the members of the Sugi Group.

    “You’re welcome!” said Kōme.

“Now that the last activity is done, it’s to call for the celebration with the traditional dinner!” said Ryōhei.

“Okay!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons as the first part of the general assembly has been finished.

The second part of the general assembly would be considered testimonial as the members of the Homewrecking Dragons pours the matcha on the empty glasses. The guests would also pour the matcha on their glasses, even the former members such as Yumi Kaneda and Hitomi Takao did too.

Natsumi would lead the traditional dinner by saying her speech about the traditional dinner. “Everyone, it’s been two years since the Homewrecking Dragons have been born to be a rising explorers’ club. As young explorers, we want to preserve the culture of our country by learning the history of it, which provides the information about the traditions they have in different dynasties. So, tonight, it is an honor that we gathered today to toast for the celebration of a new era in Ōta a new year in our organization. May we continue our progress with their smiles and look forward to a better future to make the change for our organization. We want to keep our pride and honor of this club, so that everyone will be blessed with their pure hearts and endless joys. Hopefully, we will make another successful year in our club for this school year: 2010-2011, with the activities and partnerships will be making to make sure that they’re going to keep their faith for them to be inspired.” Natsumi and the members of the Dragons raise their glasses of matcha. Then, Natsumi said, “For the glory of the Homewrecking Dragons, we unite as warriors!”

“We unite as warriors!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons as everyone drink the glass of matcha, hoping to make another successful year for the club this school year.

“Okay, then, let’s eat!” said Ryōhei.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons as they start picking the foods to eat. They would also get the uirō, a traditional Japanese steamed cake made of rice flour and sugar. Then, they said, “Thanks for the food!”

The members of the Homewrecking Dragons begin to eat their dinner together while their smiles would never be forgotten. It’s great that the Homewrecking Dragons have continued to do the traditional dinner for bigger events such as homecoming, general assembly of their club and school festival of their school. The traditional dinner was first initiated by Yumi Kaneda during the first year of the club.

As they are continuing to eat their dinner, the Oriental traditional music was played, which makes them relaxed to reflect the culture of the history of Japan for generations. Later, the members of the Homewrecking Dragons would watch a video about a short story that was made by Hitomi Takao and Darioku Kaji. The short story was about a kitsune meeting with a swordsman during the early Kamakura period.

“Hey, look, Hitomi! It’s your short story!” said Masami Nojima.

“Yeah, Masami-san! I made that story, which is my literature project last year” said Hitomi.

“Don’t forget about me, Hitomi! I also contributed that story too as a group project” said Dairoku.

“Oh, of course, Dairoku-san! At least that we have a lot of short stories we made after we have formed the Homewrecking Dragons” said Hitomi.

“I would say that one of your stories was very awesome” said Kyōji.

“The relationship between a kitsune and a swordsman makes me wonder of a new story I’m going to build up” said Nanako.

“What do you mean, Nanako-san?” asked Hitomi.

“Well, I believe that there are a lot of samurai warriors out there during the early Kamakura period, but I would say that there are a lot of parallel things about the people in the past” said Nanako.

“You mean, they are not much strict?” asked Hitomi.

“Probably, Hitomi. When I thought that the story had taken place in the old city of Nara, it was in the city of Kamakura in Kanagawa. I’m sure that we have visited that place last year” said Nanako.

“Oh, yes. That was from last year, Nanako-san! We stayed there during the summer break and then, we almost get exhausted from walking in the shrine” said Hitomi.

“I guess that we did that during our jogging session, Hitomi” said Nanako.

“Well, it was not bad that we have visited that shrine, but what a magnificent place we have seen in Kamakura” said Anzu.

“Yep. I love the memories we have made from last year. I don’t know what will happen this year. Maybe, we can revisit that place if we want to” said Hitomi.

“Yeah, I agree” said Nanako while Anzu nods her head.

“You know, Hitomi-san, the big moment we have is that when we wore our yukatas, we decided to do our traditional tea ceremony” said Masami Nojima.

“Ah, I know about that, Masami-san! I think that we have cleansed our bad hopes when we took a cup of tea while viewing the moon at night” said Hitomi.

    “Yeah!” said Masami Nojima.

Hitomi would ask Tomoka graciously. “What do you think, Tomoka-san? I made that short story after you left us.”

“Oh, yeah! I really like the way you portray the characters of your story. That swordsman was able to keep the honor of the shogun when he’s fighting against the enemies from his neighborhood” said Tomoka.

“Yeah. It’s been a while that I have written this short story while you’re away from the club. I guess that you didn’t expect to read my story when you have left the club” said Hitomi.

“Uh, not at all, Hitomi-san. I frequently visited your home sometimes, so that I can see your story you have made” said Tomoka.

“Well, that’s good. I hope that you need to remember everything what we have done in the past, but hopefully, we’ll start working on some new plans too” said Hitomi.

    “You got it!” said Tomoka.

“Hey, Tomoka! Have you met Kenshō Maehara?” said Dairoku.

“I don’t know who that person is, Dairoku-san. I haven’t seen him after I left” said Tomoka.

“Well, he’s in the Niida Nishi Middle School, being part of the section 1-1” said Masanobu Uehara.

“Oh! I finally remember him, Masanobu-san! That guy used to be working on puppetry” said Tomoka.

“Yeah! He was able to create the puppets of the dragons. He made a lot of them including the red shining dragon” said Dairoku.

“You mean, he had created some fictional dragons?” asked Tomoka.

    “Yeah!” said Masanobu Uehara.

“That’s awesome! I can’t wait to see him again once he’s going to show us the puppets, Dairoku-san!” said Tomoka.

“Well, you should be. Kenshō is currently meeting with Shinsuke and Katsuya. They have been talking about what he would do for our group” said Dairoku.

“In the homecoming, Kenshō said to us that he’s planning to join the Bravehearts. He had that wish, in order to make him happy to be with us again” said Masanobu.

“Oh, okay, I see. Well, I’m looking forward to meet him later right after the event is over” said Tomoka.

    “Okay!” said Dairoku and Masanobu.

Later, a doorbell was rung, which allows Tomoka and her friends to go out for a while. Tomoka says to her friends from Team Gotō-Takao. “I’ll check outside to see who the guests are.”

“Okay!” said Hitomi and her friends.

The members of Team Minato leave the hall to go back to the living room. Tomoka would open the door to see who the person is. When Tomoka opened the door, the person who pressed the doorbell was none other than Keiko Kakuma, a member of the Bravehearts of Fukuoka.

Tomoka was shocked that Keiko and the Bravehearts of Fukuoka are back again. “Keiko-san, you’re back!”

“Yep! We’re here for another couple of days, Tomoka-san! We even let Miyuki and the members of the Stormred Higabana to join with us because my friends have been compared to Megumi’s Family of Angels” said Keiko. Miyuki Matsuzaki and the members of the Stormred Higabana are compared to Megumi Kadokawa and the members of the Family of Angels.

“That’s great to have Megumi and her friends being in excitement mood!” said Maho.

“It’s going to be awesome to have two angelic groups meeting up just like what we did in Nagoya!” said Mimi.

“You got that right, Mimi-chan! We’re going to stay here for a couple of days because right now, Kazuhiro and his team have been competing in the Blue Wind Cup. We should be watching his match tonight, but it’s going to be at 8:30 in the evening. So, we’ll be staying with you for a while” said Mika Nakano.

“Well, are you going to watch that match?” asked Saki.

“Yeah!” said Keiko and the members of the Bravehearts of Fukuoka.

“Wow! I see that you’re excited for that match, Keiko and the team! Looks like your enthusiasm had been brought up to cheer for Kazuhiro!” said Saki.

“Yeah!” said Keiko and the members of the Bravehearts of Fukuoka.

“What about you, Miyuki-san? Are you going to watch that match?” asked Saki.

“We would want to, but we’re going to be here at the mansion to attend the party at the hall” said Miyuki Matsuzaki.

“It would be an honor to make a partnership with the organizers out there” said Yoshino Nishida.

“Well, it’s great that you want to be with us for a while and the Homewrecking Dragons had currently organized their event at the hall right now” said Tomoka.

“If you want to talk with them, then you can do that right after the party is over” said Saki.

“In the meantime, have yourself at our home and hopefully, you’ll be enjoying their event tonight” said Kagetsu.

“Okay!” said Miyuki and the members of the Stormred Higabana.

“Just come with us and make friends with our allies!” said Masami Fujii.

“Yes, we will!” said Miyuki and the members of the Stormred Higabana as they’re going to the hall to attend the general assembly of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Tomoka-san, we’ll meet each other later because right now, we should be going to the Recreational Center for Kazuhiro and his team to compete in the Blue Wind Cup” said Keiko.

“Okay! Hopefully, they’ll win that match, so that they’ll be going to the next round!” said Tomoka.

“You got it!” said Keiko with a smile on her face. Keiko and the Bravehearts of Fukuoka would leave the mansion as they’re going to the Recreational Center to watch their friend Kazuhiro and the Blue Verdant Fukuoka, who will be ready for their first match at the Blue Wind Cup. Keiko and her friends wave their hands as they’re saying goodbye to Tomoka and her friends. Keiko speaks while waving her hands goodbye. “We’ll see you later tonight, Tomoka and friends!”

“Okay! Bye, Keiko-san! Bye, everyone!” said Tomoka while her friends from Team Minato would say the words “Bye, everyone!”. They wave their hands goodbye to their close friends of Kazuhiro before they’re facing to the right.

“We should be going back to the hall, everyone! The next program will be ready!” said Tomoka.

“Okay!” said the members of Team Minato.

Part 2 will be on the next post.

Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

Volume 8: "A New Angelic and Harmonious Era in Ōta" | Chapter 160: “Bringing New Desires for a New Year of Prosperity”

    Part 2

The second part of the general assembly continues with Ryōhei and Kōme standing in the stage.

“Now that you have seen the video of short stories that were made by the former members of our club, it’s time to move on to our next activity” said Ryōhei.

“Since you have enjoyed the event most of the time, we’re going to the pledge of loyalty where everyone will take the pledge of loyalty, so that you are now an official member of our organization” said Kōme.

“So, we will give it a round of applause for our president, Natsumi Yamazaki, to lead the pledge of loyalty” said Ryōhei. The members of the Homewrecking Dragons are clapping their hands for Natsumi as Natsumi had been honored to conduct the pledge of loyalty to the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Oh, one more thing, for those who have been a member from last year, you are exempted from that activity. So, those who are new to the group will stand up to recite the pledge of loyalty” said Yuzuha.

“That’s right, Yuzuha. Those who are new to our club will be only the ones to stand up and recite the pledge of loyalty” said Kōme.

The new members of the Homewrecking Dragons would stand up before Natsumi instructs them to raise their right hand. “Place your right hand.” Once the new members raise their right hand, Natsumi finally starts conducting the pledge of loyalty to the new members. “Please repeat after me.”

Natsumi speaks on her microphone to recite the pledge of loyalty. “I… state your name.” The new members must state his or her full name and after that, Natsumi continues to speak. “…swear to become a member of the Homewrecking Dragons. I promise to myself that I will bring righteousness, courage, compassion, respect, honesty, honor, loyalty and wisdom to the community. I promise that I will protect the club to make them blessed and inspired, so that I will be given more faith to preserve the culture of our country.”

Once the new members finished reciting the pledge of loyalty, Natsumi speaks to them. “Congratulations. You are now officially new members of the Homewrecking Dragons.”

Everyone would clap their hands as the new members of the Homewrecking Dragons are now honored by the club’s President.

“Thank you very much, Miss President, for conducting the pledge of loyalty for the new members of our club” said Ryōhei.

“Now that all of you are now officially part of our club, hopefully, you’ll be able to keep the faith in your heart once we’re going to get along for a whole year” said Kōme.

“Yeah!” said the new members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Now, it’s time to move on the second to the last activity. We’ll be nominating the best costume for the members of our club” said Yuzuha.

“As you all know, the members of the executive board have been looking around to see who will be nominated for the best costume in two different categories” said Ryōhei.

“One will be for the boys’ category and the other will be for the girls’ category” said Kōme.

“Minako-san had given me this list of the nominees for the best costume. So, get ready to see who the most beautiful and most dazzling costume is” said Yuzuha.

“Are you ready for this fantastic activity?” asked Ryōhei.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“One more time! I said, ‘Are you ready for the next activity?’” said Ryōhei.

“Yes!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Good! Now, let’s start with the boys’ category” said Ryōhei.

“Representing the Higabana Group, Yū Inagaki!” said Kōme.

“Representing the Kuchinashi Group, Hiroshi Takahata!” said Yuzuha.

“Representing the Katsura Group, Manabu Sakanoue!” said Kōme.

“Representing the Akamatsu Group, Shōta Shirogane!” said Yuzuha.

“Representing the Kuromatsu Group, Takuya Maehara, the brother of Kenshō Maehara!” said Kōme.

“Representing the Sugi Group, Hirokazu Shimada!” said Yuzuha.

“And representing the Sakura Group, their leader Kyōsuke Shimoda!” said Kōme.

The seven boys who were called by Kōme and Yuzuha would go to the stage to show their costume they have worn for tonight’s event.

“Thank you very much, boys! Now, it’s time to move on to the other category for the best costume activity, the girls’ category” said Ryōhei.

“Representing the Higabana Group, Tsukiko Negi!” said Kōme.

“Representing the Kuchinashi Group, Yōko Shiroma!” said Yuzuha.

“Representing the Katsura Group, Tomoyo Matsunaga!” said Kōme.

“Representing the Akamatsu Group, their leader Kaoru Murakawa!” said Yuzuha.

“Representing the Kuromatsu Group, Kumiko Nozaka!” said Kōme.

“Representing the Sugi Group, their leader Koharu Arihara!” said Yuzuha.

“And representing the Sakura Group, one of the new members in our club Chika Miyazawa!” said Kōme.

Like the boys earlier, the seven girls who were called by Kōme and Yuzuha would go to the stage to show their costume they have worn for tonight’s event.

“Now, in order to determine the best costume for a boy and a girl, we will let them model into the stage to see their pose. After that, you guys should vote on a piece of paper in your table. We’ll announce the winners of the best costume, alongside the best group for the entire event. So, are you ready to see them shine?” said Ryōhei.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Great! Now, before we’ll start this activity. We’ll introduce you to the panel of judges!” said Ryōhei.

“First up, the first president of the Homewrecking Dragons and a first year mddile school student from the Tamagawa Middle School, Yumi Kaneda!” said Kōme.

“Next up, the last year’s president of the Homewrecking Dragons and a first year middle school student from the Keishin Academy, Hitomi Takao!” said Yuzuha.

“The next one will be a former member of the Homewrecking Dragons and a first year middle school student from the Yaguchi Middle School, Jirō Koganei!” said Kōme.

“Sitting beside Jirō is the Secretary of the Shiromidai Elementary School Children’s Association and the leading vocalist of Lien de Famille, Jun Gotō!” said Yuzuha.

“And last but not the least, a former member of the Homewrecking Dragons and a first year middle school student from the Ōmori Dainana Middle School, Setsuna Hirasawa!” said Kōme.

“Thank you very much, Kōme and Yuzuha. Now with the judges are all set to watch the contestants posing in the stage, I give you the contestants for the best costume contest, who will be doing their posting and showing their costume!” said Ryōhei.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

The montage would show where the contestants for the best costume will about to show their costume and their pose in front of the members of the Homewrecking Dragons. The background song will be 「五等分の気持ち」by Nakano-ke no Itsutsugo, composed of Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Itō, Ayane Sakura and Inori Minase. That song was the opening song of 5-tobun no Hanayome/The Quintessential Quintuplets.

The boys start modelling with their costume followed by the pose of it. Then, the girls would do the same thing just like the boys did earlier. The judges would start putting the scores for each contestant while the members of the Homewrecking Dragons would start voting for one male candidate and one female candidate. After that, the contestants would remain standing behind the emcees while Ryōhei would continue to speak to the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Now, while we’re waiting to find out who will walk away with the best costume, it’s time to determine the best group for tonight’s event” said Ryōhei.

“That’s right, Ryōhei. After the two and a half hours of enjoyment we have made, we’ll be going to determine who the best group will be” said Yuzuha.

“So, in order to find out who will be the best group, the point system will be based on how one group got every single event. There are two categories: activity and fair play. The fair play award will be the first award to be given” said Ryōhei.

“The fair play award will be given to the team that have the most cooperative team during the game as they have their own strategies to build their teamwork very well” said Yuzuha.

“That’s right, Yuzuha. So, we will be giving only one award, which means, we’re going to give one team that has the most cooperative effort to make the members happy” said Kōme. Kōme opens the envelope before reading the winner of the first award. “And the fair play award goes to… the Akamatsu Group, led by Kaoru Murakawa! Let’s give them a round of applause!”

The members of the Akamatsu Group would stand up to go to the stage before Kaoru and Shōta Shirogane join with them. Minako Asuka and Shigeru give the fair play award, which is a certificate with the seal of the Homewrecking Dragons included, to the Akamatsu Group.

“Congratulations, Akamatsu Group, for winning the fair play award!” said Yuzuha.

“What a nice cooperative work for them as they haven’t given up their willpower throughout the event!” said Ryōhei.

“Well done, Kaoru and the team!” said Kōme.

While the members of the Akamatsu Group go back to their seats, Kaoru and Shōta stay at the stage.

Shōichi Ōno and Shinsuke Takada would appear to give the envelopes to the emcees. Shōichi replies to the emcees first. “Here you go, guys!”

“The results have been completed!” said Shinsuke Takada, a member of the executive board of the Homewrecking Dragons as the assistant to Mayumi Okada and a member of the management committee.

“Thank you very much, boys. You two boys are rock!” said Ryōhei.

“Thanks, Ryōhei!” said Shōichi and Shinsuke.

“I would be wondering who’s going to win” said Makoto Takasaki, the leader of the Higabana Group.

“We’re going to be more assured of getting the Top 3 spot, Makoto-san” said Eriko Nakayama, a sixth grade elementary school student and a member of the Higabana Group.

“I’m sure we would, but we would have won one more if we got first in the Amazing Race” said Makoto.

“Well, we’ll see, Makoto-san. I’m going to say this will be harder than I thought” said Eriko.

    “Yeah” said Makoto.

“Okay, so we will find out first who wins the games category. I’ll open the envelop right now” said Ryōhei as he opens the envelope to read the top 3 teams for the next category, the activity category. “For the activity category, here are the top 3 teams for this category. Since neither any team had won more than 1 award, the judges made the first tiebreaking criteria: most points collected. So, here goes nothing. The third place goes to… the Higabana Group!”

The members of the Higabana Group are happy that they have placed third for the second category.

“It’s us, Makoto-san! We have been in the Top 3!” said Eriko.

“That’s good, Eriko-san. Now, let’s get that award” said Makoto.

“Okay!” said Eriko as she and Makoto would walk together to go to the stage.

“The second place goes to… the Sugi Group!” said Ryōhei.

“Alright! We are good that we are in the Top 3, thanks to the second-placed points!” said Koharu.

“Yeah! Shall we call the representatives to get the award?” said Hirokazu Shimada.

“Okay!” said Koharu. Then, she calls Kenta Komiyama and Sanae Matsunami. “Kenta-san! Sanae-san! Come to the stage!”

“Okay, Arihara-sama!” said Kenta and Sanae as they’re going to the stage to get the award.

“And the top team for the activity category goes to…” said Ryōhei before Naomi Morimoto and Nozomi Hanada play the drumrolls together. Ryōhei would say the top team for the activity category. “…once again, we have the Akamatsu Group!”

“Yes!” said Tatsuya Maruyama, a member of the Akamatsu Group and the cousin of Riruka Maruyama.

“We have done it again!” said Gakuto Akaishi, a member of the Akamatsu Group.

“Yeah! We got two awards in a row!” said Minami Kagawa, a member of the Akamatsu Group.

“We should get that award while Kaoru and Shōta are still in the stage” said Tatsuya.

“Okay, Tatsuya-san!” said Gakuto and Minami as the three members of the Akamatsu Group would enter to the stage on Kaoru’s behalf. Minako Asuka and Shigeru would receive the certificates to the top 3 teams.

“Congratulations to the top 3 teams that were awarded under the activity category!” said Yuzuha.

“Great job to them, especially to the Akamatsu Group! It looks like they’re eyeing to win the best group of the event!” said Kōme.

“Yeah, we could, Kōme-san! Hopefully, our leader will win the best costume!” said Gakuto.

“As well as to Shōta-san! He wore a great Oriental dragon shirt!” said Minami.

“We would be the best group in tonight’s event, don’t we?” asked Tatsuya.

“Yeah, Tatsuya-san!” said Gakuto and Minami.

Once Tatsuya, Gakuto and Minami leave the stage alongside the other members from both Higabana Group and Sugi Group, Ryōhei would announce something important.

“Okay, everyone! As you can see, before we’ll determine the best team in tonight’s event, the panel of judges have finalized the results of the best costume contest. So, we will find out who will be walking away as the best male and female costume of tonight’s event.”

“Let’s start with the best male costume!” said Yuzuha.

“You got it! The third place for the best male costume goes to… Takuya Maehara of the Kuromatsu Group!” said Ryōhei. Ryōhei would walk to the center stage as he is one of the Top 3 male candidates for the best costume.

“Then, the second place for the best male costume goes to… Hirokazu Shimada of the Sugi Group!” said Yuzuha. Hirokazu would walk to the stage as he had been awarded the second place for the best costume. He would be standing beside Takuya.

“Thank you, Hirokazu! And now, the winner of the best male costume goes to…” said Kōme before the scene changes to the other male candidates in the stage, who were pressured right now. Kōme would name the winner of the best male costume. “…Kyōsuke Shimoda of the Sakura Group!”

“Congratulations, Kyōsuke, for being the best male costume for tonight’s event!” said Ryōhei while the members of the Sakura Group are delighted to have their leader winning the award. Kyōsuke would shake his hands with his fellow candidates while Shigeru gives the sash-like towel and the male crown to Kyōsuke for being the best male costume.

Kyōsuke gladly speaks on his microphone as he’s about to thank his fellow groupmates from the Sakura Group. “Thank you very much, Shigeru. Well, it’s been a while that I have made the best, even I have fought hard during the previous activities. It was a lot of fun that I have won this award for a long time. I hope that I will continue to be handsome and nice, so that everyone will be happy.”

Kyōsuke gives the microphone to Ryōhei, who would speak on this microphone. “Alright, thank you, Kyōsuke-san, for the wonderful message to your loyal groupmates. Now, Let’s move on to the other category for this activity: the best female costume. Your turn, Yuzuha.”

“Okay!” said Yuzuha as she was given a microphone and an envelope. Yuzuha opens the envelope to reveal the first award. “The third place for the best female costume goes to… Chika Miyazawa of the Sakura Group!”

The cheers of the members of the Sakura Group make Chika being surprised after she was able to show her costume earlier. Chika would go to the center stage while waiting for the other two winning female candidates to be named.

“What a surprise by the members of our club as we have a fifth grader being a candidate for this event! No one has ever seen that before” said Kōme.

“Yeah, Kōme-san. Chika had been a new member in our club and hopefully, she will continue to show her beauty and fantastic appearance in the stage when she’s going to compete for young beauty pageant competitions in our hometown” said Ryhōei.

“Yeah!” said Kōme. “Now, who will be the second place for the best female costume?”

“Let’s find out, Kōme-san” said Ryōhei. Ryōhei would read the next paper to reveal the second place for the best female costume. “Okay, the second place for the best female costume goes to… Kaoru Murakawa of the Akamatsu Group!”

“Nice, Kaoru-san! You have done it!” said Shōta.

    “Great posing, Kaoru!” said Gakuto.

“We’re so proud of you!” said Tatsuya and Minami.

“Thanks, guys!” said Kaoru as she was walking through the stage and she would be standing beside Chika.

“Wow! That was a surprise, Kaoru-chan! I never expect that you have made it to the Top 3” said Chika.

“Yep! That’s how the beauty works when you’re good in modeling in front of our club members. I guess that I would be blessed with our group’s boosts of winning the best group!” said Kaoru.

“Good for you, Kaoru-chan, but you better watch out for our group! We’re getting better to snare that plum!” said Chika.

“Oh, really. Then, we’ll see, Chika-san!” said Kaoru.

“Now, with only one more award left before we’ll determine the best female costume. Who’s going to be?” said Kōme.

“There is no right or wrong to say about this, Kiriyu-sama, those lovely girls would be more gorgeous to show their pose and their costume” said Yuzuha.

“I would say that this is going to be down to the wire” said Ryōhei.

“Yep!” said Kōme. Kōme would back to her serious mood as she’s about to name the winner for the best female costume. “Now, back to this one! And the winner of the best female costume is…”

“Come on, it’s gotta to be Koharu!” said Hirokazu Shimada.

“No! It has to be Tomoyo!” said Yūsuke.

“Yōko should win this award for sure!” said Minako Izumi. Even Minako is a member of the Senior Dragons Group, she is the leader of the Kuchinashi Group.

“No way! We want Tsukiko to win that crown!” said Makoto.

“We want Kumiko Nozaka the winner of that precious crown!” said Seiichi Hisaoka, a member of the Kuromatsu Group.

“Yeah!” said Banri Ōnishi, who is the leader of the Kuromatsu Group.

Kōme would finally name the winner of the best female costume. “…Koharu Arihara of the Sugi Group!”

“YES!” said the members of the Sugi Group as they have been delighted to have their leader winning the best female costume.

“What?!” exclaimed Yūsuke, Minako, Makoto, Seiichi and Banri.

Koharu steps forward to join with Chika and Kaoru as she would be given the sash and the female crown. Koharu speaks on her microphone after she was showered with her awards. “Well, it’s going to be the queen of the night for this event, everyone! I had been so surprised that my loyal groupmates have cheered me a lot! That was a lot of good vibes to say the least. As for the king of the night, Kyōsuke-san, don’t make me upset if you try to do something perverting.”

    “O-oh, okay!” said Kyōsuke.

“Good! I like that expressive personality of yours, Kyōsuke-san” said Koharu with a smile on her face.

“Let’s give them a round of applause to the winners of the best costume! We have the king of the night, Kyōsuke Shimoda…” said Ryōhei.

“…and the queen of the night, Koharu Arihara!” said Yuzuha.

When Kyōsuke and Koharu are standing in the center stage, the members of the Homewrecking Dragons are taking the pictures of the two winners.

“Well, I guess that there’s nothing trouble out there” said Kyōsuke.

“Yeah, it should, Kyōsuke-san, but you know, there’s one award left to find out” said Koharu.

“Oh! I see. Now, things are about to be more tense right here!” said Kyōsuke.

    “Yeah, I agree!” said Koharu.

Once the top male and female candidates are leaving the stage after the awarding ceremonies for the best costume award, Ryōhei would speak on his microphone.

“Now, at this time, we’ll be asking everyone to give a round of applause to our president, Natsumi Yamazaki, as she’s going to lead the awarding ceremony for the best group in tonight’s event” said Ryōhei. The members of the Homewrecking Dragons are clapping their hands for Natsumi, who is now ready to give the awards for the best group.

“It seems that we’re almost going to end this event at 9:30 in the evening, we will be ready to find out who will be the best group in tonight’s event” said Kōme.

“Yep. After all the panel of judges and the executive board have worked together to finalize the results of this category, we will finally reveal the best group in this event” said Yuzuha.

“Of course, Yuzuha-san. There will be three awards, which will be ranging from third place to second place to best group. So, let’s get into it!” said Ryōhei.

    “Okay!” said Kōme and Yuzuha.

“For the third best group in tonight’s event, this will go to…” said Ryōhei before Naomi Morimoto and Nozomi Hanada play the drumrolls together. Ryōhei would say the name of the group. “…the Sakura Group!”

“That’s us! We’re going to get that award!” said Kyōsuke Shimoda.

“Yehey!” said the members of the Sakura Group as they are delighted that they’ll get their award for being the third best group in tonight’s event. They would go to the stage to get the awards from Shigeru and Minako Asuka.

Once the Sakura Group claimed the certificate for being the third best group in the event, Ryōhei would speak on the microphone as he’s about to determine the second best group in the event. “Alright, thank you very much, Kyōsuke-san and the Sakura Group! Now, it’s time to find out who will be the second best group in tonight’s event. And that would be…”

Naomi Morimoto and Nozomi Hanada play the drumrolls before the scene changes to both Akamatsu Group and Sugi Group, who were hopefully going to have that award. Ryōhei would say the name of the group. “…the Sugi Group!”

“Yes! We’re the second best group in tonight’s event!” said Koharu Arihara.

“Yeah, Arihara-sama! We should be blessed for our achievements we have!” said Hirokazu.

“It’s all thanks to you, Arihara-sama!” said Sanae.

Koharu smiles to her groupmates without losing her cheerful personality. “Thanks, everyone! Now, let’s go back to the stage and get that award!”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Sugi Group. Koharu and the members of the Sugi Group go to the stage to get the award while they smile to both Shigeru and Minako Asuka.

“Thank you very much, Koharu-san and the members of the Sugi Group. They have been different since this is the first year for that group and it looks like Koharu had done anything for the first time” said Ryōhei.

“Yeah, Ryōhei-san. Koharu formerly came from the Higabana Group last year when there are five groups being formed out. Now that she had led her own group, she finally had her dreams come true” said Yuzuha.

“She had been a good leader in section 5-5 when she was the secretary. I hope that she’s going to continue her good leadership when she’s staying with us for a year” said Kōme.

“I agree, girls. She’s very energetic when she’s leading that group when I expanded the group system into seven. I would say that she had been the dark horse in the team while trying her best to become the top student in her class” said Ryōhei.

    “Yeah!” said Kōme and Yuzuha.

“Now, we’re down to one last award before we’ll end the general assembly. Right, girls?” said Ryōhei.

    “Yeah!” said Kōme and Yuzuha.

“Uh, I’ll announce that, Ryōhei-san. Since I’m the president, I will be honored to do this” said Natsumi.

    “Okay, Miss President” said Ryōhei.

“So, the best group for tonight’s event will not only will get the certificates, but they’ll get their badge, which is the New Year Badge” said Natsumi.

“This badge will be given to each member of the best group that Natsumi will about to announce soon. So, get ready because it’s time to find out right now!” said Kōme.

“You got, Kiriyume!” said Natsumi. Natsumi would open the envelope as she’s going to reveal the best group for tonight’s event. “Now, are you ready for this?”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“So, the best group for tonight’s event goes to…” said Natsumi before Naomi Morimoto and Nozomi Hanada play one more drumroll. Natsumi would reveal the name of the best group for tonight’s event. “…the Akamatsu Group!”

“Yeeeah!” said the members of the Akamatsu Group as they have finally got their achievement: being the best group for the entire general assembly.

“We did it, Kaoru-san! We’re the best group in tonight’s event!” said Shōta.

“Yeah! We did our best, Shōta-san and team! It seems that we have achieved ourselves to get that badge!” said Kaoru.

“You got that right, Murakawa-sama!” said Shōta.

“It was a bountiful day to give us the blessings, Kaoru-san. Hopefully, we’ll make sure that we’ll continue to be the best group in the Homewrecking Dragons” said Ryōzō Mayahara, a member of the Akamatsu Group.

“Yeah, Ryōzō-san! It’s great to be the best group in the Homewrecking Dragons and it makes us so happy to have that achievement. Great work, everyone!” said Kaoru.

“Thank you, Murakawa-sama!” said the members of the Akamatsu Group.

“Now, then, shall we go to the stage?” asked Kaoru.

“Yeah, Murakawa-sama!” said the members of the Akamatsu Group.

“Then, let’s go!” said Kaoru as she and her fellow groupmates are happily heading to the stage as they’re going to get their best group award.

Natsumi gives the best group award to the members of the Akamatsu Group for having a great effort in the activities earlier. Natsumi speaks to Kaoru and her groupmates while giving the best group award. “Congratulations, Akamatsu Group! Well done!”

“Thank you very much, Natsumi-sama!” said Kaoru and the members of the Akamatsu Group.

“Since you have gotten the achievement, I will now give you the New Year Badge as a symbol of being the best group at the start of the new school year” said Natsumi as she puts the badge on the right chest to every member of the Akamatsu Group. “It is a pleasure that you have the job done as you have been blessed with your blessings and hopefully, you’ll continue to keep up the good work.”

“Yeah, Natsumi-sama! We will try our best to be the best group in your club!” said Kaoru and the members of the Akamatsu Group.

Shigeru, Minako Asuka and Ruri Takeshita would take the pictures of Natsumi and the Akamatsu Group as Kaoru and her groupmates smile on the camera while standing beside Natsumi.

    “Congratulations, Akamatsu Group!” said Ryōhei.

“For winning the Best Group Award!” said Yuzuha.

“Keep the good work and continue to be the best group all the way until next year!” said Kōme.

“You got it, Kiriyume!” said Kaoru and the members of the Akamatsu Group as they bow their heads while thanking Kōme.

“Alright! Now we before we finish this wonderful and fantastic general assembly, Let’s give a round of applause for the president of our club, Natsumi Yamazaki, for the closing remarks of this event!” said Yuzuha.

Everyone in the hall, which is mostly the members of the Homewrecking Dragons, have clapped their hands for Natsumi, who was given a microphone from Yuzuha before she’ll make her closing remarks. “Thank you, Yuzuha-sama. Well, have you enjoyed this event?”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“Great! I knew that you have counted on us from the beginning up to the end and it seems that you have been enjoying this event at the same time. We, the members of the Homewrecking Dragons, are so proud of you!” said Natsumi.

“Thank you, Natsumi-sama!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“You’re welcome” said Natsumi with a smile on her face before she continues her speech. “Now, I had been delighted with the festivities we made for the Fuchsia and Celadon Week, especially to those who have performed at the first anniversary concert of Lien de Famille. It was an honor that our club had been improving in organizing outside the school activities, which may be benefited to increase our reputation to be the best young exploration club in Tokyo. It’s going to be a long year to keep this feat, but as you all know, we’re planning to make projects and activities that will make the community more oriented to know about the culture of our country. For starters, members must attend our activities every week and you need to make the job done by the end of the day. That’s why I started to make incentives such as badges and medals if you have earned the best way. Also, with the search of the Dragons of Ōta continues, we’ll start our very own search for the former members that have coming from Den-en-chōfu, Yaguchi and Tamagawa. We’ll make sure that we’ll achieve anything right before June 15. I hope that you’ll be ready for unexpected actions to come when we’re going to open a new year in our club. So, everyone, let’s make the Homewrecking Dragons continue to bring new desires for a new year of prosperity!”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“So, thank you for coming into this event and hopefully, we’ll bring the blessings to our community and hopefully, we’ll continue to unite as warriors!” said Natsumi.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

Natsumi would be given a standing ovation as the members of the Homewrecking Dragons are clapping for her before she gives the microphone to Yuzuha.

“Thank you, Natsumi-sama, for the great closing remarks of this event and I’m glad that you have done anything great to make this event successful!” said Yuzuha.

“Yeah, I agree, Yuzuha-san!” said Natsumi.

“Okay, so, that’s going to be it for us! It’s been great that you have enjoyed the event that was taking place outside the school. I hope that we will make another successful ‘outside the school’ event again if we want to because you guys are awesome!” said Ryōhei.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

“By the way, there’s only one more day left to finish the Fuchsia and Celadon Week and that’s why we invited you to attend the closing event of this festivity tomorrow night at 8:00 in the evening at the beachfront, the same place that the kick-off was held last week” said Kōme.

“This time, it’s not going to be a concert event, but instead, it’s going to be the extinguishing of the friendship flame that we lighted up on the first day” said Ryōhei.

“Everyone is expected to make their wishes come true when we’re going to do that right before the closing event. So, I hope that you’ll be there to finally cap off the festivity of a new era in Ōta. Right, everyone?” said Yuzuha.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons.

    “That’s great!” said Yuzuha.

Ryōhei makes the last words of the event as he will close out the general assembly together with Kōme and Yuzuha. “Hopefully, we’ll remember our names once again when you’re going to meet us at our office every day after the classes are over. My name is Ryōhei Matsuoka, your secretary of the Homewrecking Dragons.”

“I’m Yuzuha Aigae, your sergeant-at-arms of the Homewrecking Dragons.”

“And I’m Kōme Ogi, your vice president of the Homewrecking Draogns.”

Ryōhei, Kōme and Yuzuha would say their endings together. “And we’ll see you tomorrow at the Misawa Resort Hotel for the last day of the Fuchsia and Celadon Week!”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Homewrecking Dragons. The general assembly of the Homewrecking Dragons would be a success as the members of the club were able to enjoy themselves, in making the community get more desires through their hope and wisdom. It’s safe to say that not only they have been blessed through their allies such as the Bravehearts and the Family of Angels, but also, they have kept their reputation of being the best young exploration club in Tokyo.

[ENDING: Tenshi no 3P!/Angel's 3Piece! Insert Song: INNOCENT BLUE「INNOCENT BLUE」 by Baby’s breath]
Instead of the usual ending theme song of Tenshi no 3P!/Angel's 3Piece!, Kusabi「楔」 by Baby’s breath, I decided to use the insert song INNOCENT BLUE, which was also the ending theme song of Episode 9 of the anime adaption of Tenshi no 3P!/Angel's 3Piece!, to represent the memories of the members of the Homewrecking Dragons from past to present.

The Homewrecking Dragons had kicked off its new year as they’re going to try their best to keep their group more prospered like the way their former members did before. Hopefully, I’ll be going to plan on writing a new update featuring with them very soon. Since they were close to the Family of Angels, they’re ready to make the moves to give hopes and dreams to everyone who were always prospered and blessed with their brave hearts. The next update will be an interlude, which will be a birthday party at the Golden Sun Restaurant where Yūichirō Matsumoto, a member of the Red and Orange, had celebrated his birthday there. I’ll see you on January 22 (Wednesday) for the next update of Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts!

Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

Before you’ll read this update, this interlude (Interlude 38) will be dedicated to Yūmi Hara, whose birthday was yesterday (January 21), and Yūki Inoue and Maho Matsunaga, whose birthdays will be tomorrow (January 23). Yūmi is the voice of Aya Miyakoōji (Ro-Kyu-Bu!) and Albedo (Overlord) and Futaba Saotome (Val × Love); Yūki is the voice of Kyō Nukui (Tenshi no 3P!/Angel’s 3Piece!); and Maho is a former voice actress and singer, being part of StylipS and the voice actress of Elena Tōdo from Love Live! I hope that both Yūmi and Yūki will make progress on their respective voice acting career as well as the music career of Yūmi! Belated happy birthday, Yūmi, and happy birthday, Yūki and Maho! Tomorrow, January 23 (Thursday), is also the birthday of Kasumi Nakasu from the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, a school idol group from Love Live! School Project. Wearing a star-shaped hairpin on her beige-colored semi-short hair, Kasumi is very cheerful, but sometimes mischievous to her rivals. Kasumi is voiced by Mayu Sagara. Advanced happy birthday, Kasumi! Now, it’s time to move on into tonight’s update featuring the Red and Orange!

There are three updates left to finish the main part of Volume 8, Part 1. That means, I’ll be posting some additional materials to finish the first part of Volume 8 by next month. Hopefully, you’ll all be enjoyed reading some extra materials that will feature some old and new characters of the series coming soon. Now, it’s time to move on to tonight’s update where Yūichirō Matsumoto had celebrated his birthday today as his friends from the Red and Orange throw a birthday party for Yūichirō at the Golden Sun Restaurant, the main restaurant of the Misawa Resort Hotel. Now, if you’re ready to see the new characters that are coming from the Red and Orange, then I give you the tenth interlude of Volume 8 with the title, “Bringing the Red and Orange Blazing into the Horizon Like Real Warriors”! Enjoy reading Interlude 38!

Yūichirō Matsumoto is the third child and the only son of a mother born in Tsu, Mie Prefecture and a father born in Tokyo and has three sisters, consisted of Koharu, Aoba and Hajime. Currently living in Nishikamata, he is a member of the Red and Orange and a sixth grade elementary school student from a private institution Tsukuba Gakuen Elementary School. Yūichirō’s birthday is on May 7 and tonight, it’s his day to celebrate his birthday as he and his fellow members of the Red and Orange have organized a birthday party for him at the Golden Sun Restaurant. Not only he invited his friends form the Red and Orange, but he also invited some of his close friends in his class and even a few members of the Family of Angels that are living in Nishikamata, composed of Shōzō Takamatsu, Kaiji Nakagami, Chitose Ayano and Shizuka Tojo. Arisa Kitazawa and Sawako Tanahashi have praised Yūichirō and his three friends, composed of Kazue Ōgaki, Naoko Andō and Junsei Watanabe, for their participation at the Fuchsia and Celadon Dragons where they represented the Rainbow Angels, the team that won the double championship and the extended group that was formed by the Family of Angels. The leader of the Red and Orange Tarō Inuzuka said to his fellow groupmates that the group had been interested to join the Bravehearts due to their partnership with the Family of Angels, which means that they’re planning to associate with the Bravehearts if they want to develop more with their partnership. That’s why their major goal for them is to create an extended group for the Red and Orange. The future of the Red and Orange had been contemplated for now and hopefully, they’re going to continue making partnership with the Family of Angels, so that they’re going to join the Bravehearts as new mainstream member of that group that was formed by Subaru Hasegawa.

VOLUME 8: “A NEW ANGELIC AND HARMONIOUS ERA IN ŌTA”
INTERLUDE 38: “BRINGING THE DETERMINED RED AND ORANGE INTO THE HORIZON LIKE REAL WARRIORS

While the Homewrecking Dragons have organized their General Assembly at the hall of the mansion of the Misawa Resort Hotel, the Red and Orange had organized a birthday party for their member Yūichirō Matsumoto at the Golden Sun Restaurant.

At the Golden Sun Restaurant, the members of the Red and Orange and the friends of Yūichirō Matsumoto have gathered around to celebrate Yūichirō Matsumoto’s birthday. Yūichirō Matsumoto was born in Ōta, but his mother was born and growing up in Tsu, Mie Prefecture. Yūichirō came from section 6-2, which means his friends have also coming from that section.

“Happy birthday to you!” The members of the Red and Orange and the friends of Yūichirō Matsumoto finished singing the ‘Happy Birthday Song’ before Sakuya Komatsu, one of the friends of Yūichirō Matsumoto, asks him to make a wish.

“Make a wish, Yūichirō-san!” said Sakuya Komatsu.

    “Okay!” said Yūichirō.

“But just whisper to yourself” said Junsei.

“Sure!” said Yūichirō as he whispers himself to make a wish for his birthday before he blows the candles of his birthday cake.

“Hooray! Happy birthday, Yūichirō!” shouted the members of the Red and Orange and the friends of Yūichirō Matsumoto as Yūichirō finally had a blessing to make his wish coming true.

“Thank you very much, guys! I know that this is my day to celebrate my birthday. I hope that you all enjoyed it” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Red and Orange and the friends of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Now, let’s eat the dinner and the cake!” said Yūichirō.

“Okay!” said the members of the Red and Orange and the friends of Yūichirō Matsumoto as Yūichirō and his friends have started picking the dinner dishes that were served by the parents of Yūichirō Matsumoto and his older siblings. Then, they eat the dishes together at their tables.

Aside from his friends from the Red and Orange and his school, Yūichirō also invites four of the members of Team Kadokawa, who were living in the same hometown as him. Yūichirō came from Nishi Kamata, which means that Shōzō Takamatsu, Kaiji Nakagami, Chitose Ayano and Shizuka Tojo were invited to Yūichirō’s birthday party as well.

“Here are your gifts from the four of us!” said Shōzō.

“This is where the fortune comes, Yūichirō-san” said Chitose.

“Thanks, guys! I’m glad that you given me some gifts right after my other friends did earlier” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

“We want to make sure that you need these gifts in the future” said Shōzō.

“So, that you’ll be more awesome!” said Kaiji.

“Yeah, that’s true, you guys! I really am smart and awesome!” said Yūichirō.

“I agree!” said Shōzō and Kaiji.

“By the way, Megumi and Tomoka have also given these gifts to you” said Chitose.

“Oh, that’s interesting, but I’m afraid that they’re not here, Chitose-san” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah, both Tomoka and Megumi had been staying at the mansion for the General Assembly of the Homewrecking Dragons” said Chitose.

“That’s why they left you those birthday presents, so that you’ll unwrap those later” said Shizuka.

“Okay, now I understand, Chitose-san and Shizuka-san” said Yūichirō.

“So, speaking of which, your school, the Tsukuba Gakuen Elementary School, is in Higashi Kamata. Isn’t right?” said Shizuka.

“Yeah, Shizuka-san. My home is near that school, which means that I must walk there for a few minutes” said Yūichirō.

“But what about the other three close friends of yours, Kazue, Naoko and Junsei?” asked Kaiji.

“Uh, they’re all living in Minami Kamata, which is probably the downtown area before Yaguchi” said Yūichirō.

“I would say that you have been closed to them since you and those three were studying in the same school. Right?” said Shōzō.

    “You got it!” said Yūichirō.

“So, I’ll probably going to wait for your friends to arrive and then, we’ll talk about you” said Chitose.

“Sure, Chitose-san! It will be a good pleasure to see my friends out there. You will be excited about this” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah, Yūichirō-san!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

Kazue, Naoko and Junsei would arrive to meet with Yūichirō, Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

    “Hey, Yūichirō-chan!” said Kazue.

“Kazue-san! I know that you called me for a bit” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah, Yūichirō-chan, but I think that we want to invite those four members of the Family of Angels to be part of our conversation because we want you to be entertained” said Kazue.

“It will make them happy to hear about our birthday celebrant’s life” said Naoko.

“I’m sure that you’ll like it” said Junsei.

“Of course not, guys! I will be glad to!” said Yūichirō.

    “Great!” said Junsei.

“Now, come to our table!” said Naoko.

“This will be a lot of fun!” said Kazue.

“Okay!” said Yūichirō, Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka as they left their table to join with Kazue, Naoko and Junsei. They would go to a bigger table, which is occupied by the Red and Orange.

At the table of the Red and Orange, the members of that group are chatting indistinct. Later, Arisa Kitazawa, a first year middle school student from the Tsukuba Gakuen Middle School, and Sawako Tanahashi, a sixth grade elementary school student from the Tsukuba Gakuen Elementary School, would are seeing Yūichirō and his friends.

    “Hey, Yūichirō!” said Arisa Kitazawa.

“It’s so nice that you have been grown up!” said Sawako Tanahashi. Sawako is also the cousin of Emiri Tanahashi.

“Yeah! Actually, I have some close friends at my home” said Yūichirō.

    “Who are they?” asked Arisa.

“They were Shōzō Takamatsu, Kaiji Nakagami, Chitose Ayano and Shizuka Tojo. They are friends of mine through one of my friends, Tomoka Minato” said Yūichirō.

“You mean, that fuchsia-haired girl from the Keishin Academy?” asked Sawako.

“Yeah, Sawako-san! She was the one who had shined her team to a championship in the girls’ tournament of the Fuchsia and Celadon Dragons Tournament” said Yūichirō.

“Wow! Good for her, Yūichirō! I’m sure that she’s going to have more potential to become the best player in our hometown” said Arisa.

“We’ll watch out for her to see if she had shined her moves to the test” said Sawako.

    “Yeah, I agree!” said Yūichirō.

“Anyway, please, sit down with us” said Arisa.

“We’re interested to see your background of your life” said Sawako.

“Sure!” said Yūichirō as he takes his seat besides Sawako. Kazue, Naoko and Junsei would seat with Yūichirō while Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka are sitting beside the friends of Yūichirō.

“Nice to meet you, guys!” said Sakuya.

“It’s great that you are here to have our conversation. I hope that you all like it” said Nobumasa Yokoyama, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Yeah!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

“We know that the four of us have been joining the Bravehearts as we have been invited to participate at the Fuchsia and Celadon Week last weekend” said Kazue.

“We represented the Rainbow Angels” said Naoko.

“And we have won the tournament, thanks to the willpower and strength of our fellow friends” said Junsei.

“That was a good achievement you have, Kazue and Junsei! I appreciate that!” said Arisa.

“I’m sure that you have quickly become friends with them when you have accepted to be part of that team” said Sawako.

“Yeah, we agree, Sawako!” said Kazue, Yūichirō, Naoko and Junsei.

“I believe that there is something I want to tell you about this, everyone. You see, our group had been interested to join the Bravehearts because we have participated at the post-tournament party last Sunday and it’s nice that you have been part of that team. Maybe, we might be wondering if we’re going to associate with them” said Tarō Inuzuka, a first year middle school student from the Tsukuba Gakuen Middle School.

“Whoa! You mean it?” asked Kazue and Yūichirō.

    “Yeah!” said Tarō.

“So, it will be interested to partner with the Bravehearts by making our own extended group if we want to, but our main priority is that our group will be joining the Bravehearts as a mainstream member of that organization” said Sawako.

“We’ll represent our own group while we’re going to associate with your friends” said Arisa.

“You mean Tomoka and the Family of Angels?” asked Naoko.

    “Yeah!” said Arisa.

“So, I think that we’re going to associate with them while we’re working to form our own extended group” said Naoko.

“Of course, Naoko! I believe that we should build our own extended group, which is going to be composed of our friends that are coming from Kamata, in which the colors are orange” said Katsunosuke Wakisaka, a first year middle school student from the Tsukuba Gakuen Middle School.

“Will it considered to have the groups that their colors are close to orange?” asked Junsei.

“Yes, of course, Junsei!” said Katsunosuke.

“That’s why it’s going to be our goal to make that happen, but I believe that this is going to help everyone in our school to grow with their new friends out there” said Sawako.

“I’m sure that we can do that once we’ll settle this with a meeting with Tomoka and her friends” said Kazue.

“They’re friendly to us” said Junsei.

“And they have given us their blessings to make sure that we’re going to be blessed just like them” said Naoko.

“So, that way, we’ll be able to make our future brighter and help the community to grow with smiles” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah, we agree!” said Arisa, Sawako, Tarō, Katsunosuke and the other members of the Red and Orange.

Yūichirō asks his friends if they understand about his team’s plan. “Anyway, did you understand about what we’re talking about, my friends?”

“Yeah!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

“I believe that things are about to be changed when you and your friends are going to allow them to be part of the Rainbow Angels” said Shōzō.

“That’s our extended group with smiles and joys are always endless” said Kaiji.

“Maybe, it will be interested to create a connecting branch between your group and our group” said Chitose.

“So, which means that we’re going to recruit your friends to be part of the Rainbow Angels” said Shizuka.

“Well, that’s a good idea, Chitose-san and Shizuka-san, but I really think that our leader Tarō is planning to join the Bravehearts as mainstream members, which means your idea is almost close to our plan” said Yūichirō.

“Then, we’ll make an association with your group, so that we’ll allow your friends to co-habit with us” said Shōzō.

“I think that your suggestion is better, Shōzō-san. I’ll tell my friends about this” said Yūichirō.

    “Okay!” said Shōzō.

“Sakuya, let my friends join in this meeting, so that we’ll have a meeting” said Yūichirō.

“Okay!” said Sakuya as she calls the other friends of Yūichirō to join the meeting with the members of the Red and Orange.

“Do you think that we’ll allow our friends to join, Yūichirō?” asked Naoko.

    “Yeah!” said Yūichirō.

“Wow! That was a great idea!” said Naoko.

“It will make my friends in our school to join the Bravehearts with that planned partnership. I know that we have grown our relationship with them, thanks to the Fuchsia and Celadon Dragons Tournament” said Kazue.

“That way, we’ll be blessed with their blessings” said Junsei.

“You got that right!” said Yūichirō.

Later, the friends of Yūichirō would meet with the members of the Red and Orange in a big table.

“Now, everyone, I want to say this announcement right now. You’re allowed to be part of the Bravehearts with our planned partnership between our group, the Red and Orange, and the Family of Angels” said Yūichirō.

“Really? Are we going to partner with those future superstars?” asked Hanabi Ishizuka, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Yeah, Hanabi-san! With the partnership with the Bravehearts have been developed recently, we’re going to allow our group to be part of the Bravehearts soon while you and your friends will join the Family of Angels” said Yūichirō.

“Alright!” said the friends of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“I’m liking that announcement, Yūichirō-chan!” said Hanabi.

“It feels like this is going to be awesome to make more friends!” said Yūto Hayakawa, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“I’m sure that we’re going to run together with them to create a new partnership” said Genta Ikegami, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Yeah, of course, you guys! Once we’re going to meet with Tomoka and her friends, we’ll be planning on joining the Bravehearts while the rest will be associating with the Family of Angels by joining the Rainbow Angels” said Yūichirō.

“Which means that you’re going to have new friends to get along with” said Sakuya.

“Yeah, I agree, Sakuya-chan!” said Hanabi.

“Me too!” said Yūto and Genta.

“But what about the friends of yours, Yūichirō-san?” asked Mitsuko Kodama, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Uh, the four of us were interested in becoming close with Tomoka because of our friendship and we’re planning to divide our shares into two groups. I’m thinking that the friends of Kazue, Naoko and Junsei have been interested to join the Rainbow Angels while the rest of my fellow members of the Red and Orange may be partnering with their friends to create their extended group” said Yūichirō.

“There are fourteen members in our Red and Orange, which were composed of the young students who were living in Ōta. It is one of the few communities that have students who were living in the Kansai region. Another group was the Orange Wave, which is composed of the students from the Mikagawa Middle School” said Kazue.

“There is a certain rumor that our group and the Orange Wave have explored their ideas of creating their extended groups after they have saw the extended group system made by the Bravehearts” said Naoko.

“Which is why we’re going to be ready to continue making the community more blessed with extended groups as soon as we can” said Junsei.

“Ah, we finally understand about that, Yūichirō-san. I believe that it’s going to be a big move for us to make new friends in our neighborhood” said Hanabi.

“I’m sure that those guys from the Bravehearts are going to give us the blessings they have” said Mitsuko.

“As friends, Yūichirō, we’re generous to be friends with you and since you have gotten along with the Bravehearts, we think that we’re ready to follow you” said Shigetoshi Kajiura, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Yeah, despite your group had a few members, I believe that we’re going to help you and your friends to make the difference just like how the other community groups in Ōta did” said Toyoko Sakagami, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Of course, my friends! Then, you’re all delighted to be part of the Bravehearts once the meeting will be settled next week” said Yūichirō.

“Okay!” said the friends of Yūichirō.

“So, when are we going to set up the meeting with Tomoka and her friends?” asked Sawako.

“It will be next week on May 14. Right now, there are some groups who were also planning to create their extended groups such as the Orange and Fuchsia and Team Aurora” said Kazue.

“Hopefully, they’ll accept your plan to be part of the Bravehearts, which will be more delightful and more harmonious” said Naoko.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Red and Orange.

“Oh! I almost forgot to tell your names because we want to know more about you” said Shōzō.

“Ah! You’re right! Maybe, we can do that right now!” said Arisa.

“Yeah! We’ll introduce ourselves one by one. Shall we?” said Sawako.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Red and Orange.

The members of the Red and Orange would introduce themselves, so that Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka will finally know their names.

“My name is Arisa Kitazawa. I’m a first year middle school student from the Tsukuba Gakuen Middle School.”

Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka have finally remembered their names after the other members of the Red and Orange introduced themselves.

“Well, it’s nice to meet you out there. This is our first time that we have met with each other” said Shōzō.

“Hopefully, we’ll become friends with you very soon” said Chitose.

“Of course, we will” said Arisa. “By the way, can you tell us your names?”

“Sure!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

“Shōzō Takamatsu, a student from the Keishin Academy Middle School.”

“Kaiji Nakajima, also a student from the Keishin Academy Middle School.”

“Chitose Ayano, also a student from the Keishin Academy Middle School.”

“And Shizuka Tojo, also a student from the Keishin Academy Middle School.”

Then, Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka would shout together in unison. “Together, we’re part of the Family of Angels!”

“Ah, I see! Where your group originally coming from?” said Arisa.

“Our group have coming from the area of Minami Kamata, an area of harmonious and everlasting peace” said Kaiji.

“Wow! I’m glad that you have gotten along with your friends in your school! That’s good for you!” said Sakuya.

“Yeah, we agree!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

“I hope that you’ll be able to continue developing your friendship with them. You’ll be delighted to have them smile on their faces” said Arisa.

“Yeah, we will, Arisa!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

“Now that the plans will be made very soon, what shall we do next, everyone?” asked Yūichirō.

“We want you to know about how you started your life here” said Kenichi Otsuji, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Sure, Kenichi-san!” said Yūichirō. “You see, I was born in Tokyo, but the real reason why I joined the Red and Orange is because my mother was born in Tsu, Mie. I had three siblings, which they were all girls. Their names are Koharu, Aoba and Hajime. I’m the third of the four, which means that Hajime is the youngest, who is currently a fourth grade student. When I lived with my family, I used to get along with them by doing gardening activities in my home’s yard.”

“Did you have any relatives living in your home?” asked Kyōhei Nishida, a friend and a classmate of Yūichirō Matsumoto.

“Well, yes, of course, Kyōhei-san. It’s my cousin, Shinichirō, who is the son of the brother of my father. His family had lived in Haginaka” said Yūichirō.

“Is he different from you?” asked Kenichi.

“Not at all, Kenichi-san” said Yūichirō.

“I’m sure that he’s getting along with you while you were at home” said Kyōhei.

“Only for weekdays, but he had his own desires to live with us if he’s older now” said Yūichirō.

“Wow. That would have been better if he’s your older brother” said Kenichi.

“Yeah, that’s true, Kenichi-san. He’s 17 years old and his two siblings were all sisters too” said Yūichirō.

“I see. That sounds like he wanted to be living differently rather getting along his sisters. Aren’t he, Yūichirō-san?” said Kyōhei.

    “Yeah” said Yūichirō.

“By the way, what is the maiden name of your mother?” asked Shigetoshi.

    “It’s Ōtsubo” said Yūichirō.

“Ah! I see!” said Kenichi, Kyōhei and Shigetoshi.

“I believe that you might have other relatives from your mother’s hometown. I get it. Then, how did you often use your father’s surname” said Shigetoshi.

“My parents were married and it’s different to say that Matsumoto was ideal to Ōtsubo because people in Tokyo used the surnames instead of maiden names, which was sometimes used by some residents in Kansai, even in Lake Biwa” said Yūichirō.

“Okay, we understand, Yūichirō” said Kenichi, Kyōhei and Shigetoshi.

“Now, another thing that I had been closed to my family is that we used to stay in vacation in my mother’s hometown in Tsu, Mie. Tsu was a faraway place to live, but I love to live in Tokyo right now” said Yūichirō.

“When did you and your family did that?” asked Toyoko.

“Only in the summer break” said Yūichirō.

“Well, I’m sure that you have a happy family that you have bonded with, but I’m sure when you grow older, maybe you can live in your mother’s hometown if you want to” said Toyoko.

“Yeah, but I prefer to live in Tokyo because it’s a marvelous place to see a lot if you know what I mean” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah, I agree, Yūichirō-san!” said Toyoko.

“Since we’re sixth graders this year, Yūichirō, I believe that you had a future at some point for you to vision with” said Hanabi.

“I say that I want to continue to be with you when we’re going to the Tsukuba Gakuen Middle School because it’s the place where the real warriors excelled in academics. That’s why my friends of mine have been competed against different smart and talented students in our class. I want to be more involved in that, so I decided to study hard. As soon as I can get a high grade, I can apply for a scholarship” said Yūichirō.

“What scholarship will you aim for?” asked Kaiji.

“I’m aiming to enroll in any of the prestigious universities in Tokyo that I want to go with. My fellow members of the Red and Orange have that too” said Yūichirō.

“My siblings are also aiming to enroll in different universities in Tokyo because they wanted to be with my family. Of course, my family had lived in Minami Kamata” said Kazue.

“Wow! That’s interesting! I can’t say that you have closed with those in your family, but they’re interested to enroll in Tokyo soon” said Chitose.

“Yeah, Chitose-chan! My father lived in Nara before he moved to Tokyo while Kira’s father Seishrō lived in Nagoya after he graduated from high school in Nara. My grandfather Kotaro Ōgaki was the patriarch of the Ōgaki clan in Nara and of course, he had a lot of children to raise with” said Kazue.

“How children did your grandfather have?” asked Shōzō.

“There are seven of them, five were sons while the rest were daughters” said Kazue.

“So, that includes your father and Kira’s father?” asked Shōzō.

    “Yeah!” said Kazue.

“Ah, now I understand about this, Kazue. I’m sure that you have a good life there in our hometown because you have been keeping your courage for you to be blessed just like your friends you have including your cousins like Kira” said Shōzō.

“It will be a great pleasure to see your siblings if they want to visit this resort hotel one day” said Kaiji.

“Yeah, I agree, Kaiji-san, but apparently, I will ask my siblings if they are interested to see this wonderful place” said Kazue.

“Yeah!” said Shōzō, Kaiji, Chitose and Shizuka.

“Yūichirō, I believe that you are expressive just like my friends in the Family of Angels. I hope that you’ll be moving to our home if you have a desire to live with us” said Shizuka.

“Yeah, Shizuka-san! I love the mansion of the Misawa Resort Hotel because it’s more like a paradise” said Yūichirō.

“It’s a paradise indeed, Yūichirō. I’m sure that when you and your friends Kazue, Naoko and Junsei will be permanently joining the Bravehearts, we’ll be ready to get along with you and your friends for a long time” said Chitose.

“Yeah! It will our opportunity to make the difference in our group and hopefully, we’ll continue our bonds of friendship with you and your friends from your group” said Yūichirō.

“That way, we’ll be friends together in the same place!” said Naoko.

“Yeah, Naoko! We’ll continue our friendship with you, so that you guys will be blessed!” said Shōzō.

“Yeah!” said Kazue, Yūichirō, Naoko and Junsei.

“I hope that you’ll continue making blessings to your friends once you’re moving from your family’s home to their home” said Sawako.

“We would be delighted to visit the Misawa Resort Hotel again once we’re going to meet Tomoka and her friends for the meeting” said Arisa.

“Hopefully, we’re ready for the plans to be executed, so that we’ll be part of the Bravehearts organization” said Tarō.

“Yeah! It will be the opening of a new chapter for our group and this time, we’ll show our courage and willpower to the community, so that we’ll make our group blazing like real warriors!” said Yūichirō.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Red and Orange.

“You know what, Yūichirō-san, I will be delighted to join the Bravehearts first before your other friends will” said Sakuya.

“Of course, Sakuya-san! You’ll be my guest to meet my fellow friends out there once the deal is settled” said Yūichirō.

“Yes, I will, Yūichirō-san!” said Sakuya.

“Hopefully, we’ll visit this place again!” said Nobumasa.

“You got it!” said Yūichirō. “It will be a great night to celebrate my birthday in this beautiful restaurant and hopefully, there will be more blessings to come for me to keep my courage. Right, guys?”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Red and Orange and the friends of Yūichirō.

“Then, let’s go out and play some game of shogi!” said Yūichirō.

“Okay!” said the members of the Red and Orange and the friends of Yūichirō. Yūichirō had been friendly to his friends from his school and his group, the Red and Orange, which makes him one of the blessed allies of the Family of Angels. Yūichirō is ready to continue his bonds of friendship with his friends from the Family of Angels and he believes that he will be make them blessed with his own blessings.

Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

In Chapter 122, the Red and Orange made its first appearance, composed of only four members, Kazue Ōgaki, Yūichirō Matsumoto, Naoko Andō and Junsei Watanabe. They became friends with Tomoka Minato quickly before becoming members of the Rainbow Angels, the extended group of the Family of Angels. Now, that group becomes larger as you saw the other members of that group in tonight’s update (Interlude 38). So, I give you the full and updated profile of the Red and Orange, which is led by Tarō Inuzuka.

UP NEXT: Special Chapter 15: “A Beautiful Team of Bravehearts who Gleam and Bless Everyone”

The Red and Orange was formed composed of the young students coming from Tsukuba Gakuen Elementary School and Middle School that were born to one parent born in the central part of Japan (Chūbu and Kansai) and raised in Ōta. Which means that Kazue, Yūichirō, Naoko and Junsei will finally have their friends to get along with as I had revealed the rest of the Red and Orange. Hopefully, they’ll work together to form future activities in the future as the series had progressed on. The next update will be a special chapter that will take place in Nagoya as the Bravehearts of Nagoya and their friends from the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team will meet each other to recall the past season when Kira and her ‘bravehearts’ have been part of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team. I’ll see you on January 26 (Sunday) for the next update!

Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

I'm back, everyone, as I'll be posting a special update of Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts! This special update was supposedly posted last night (January 26), but it was moved to tonight (January 27) due to the Internet connection problems. But thank goodness! It only lasted just for a day, which means that I’ll be posting tonight’s update of Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts! Unfortunately, right now, the NBA fans and the sportspeople around the world were saddened on the sudden death of former LA Laker Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, in a helicopter crash earlier in California. May we, especially to the sports fans in the Anime-Sharing Forum, send the deep condolences to Bryant family as one of the great legends of the Lakers had been gone forever. May he rest in peace. Now, onto tonight’s update with the fifteenth special chapter of Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts!

This special update will be dedicated to Akane Fujita, whose birthday was yesterday (January 26). Hailing from Shizuoka, Akane is the voice actress of Sagiri Izumi (Eromanga Sensei) and Fū Sagami (RELEASE THE SPYCE). May I wish her a happy birthday and hopefully, she’ll make her progress of her voice acting career! Belated happy birthday, Akane! Now, I’m going to save the last two chapters of the first part of Volume 8 for the next updates as I’m going to post this special chapter because this special chapter will be rewinding the past to witness the last year’s campaign of one of the prestigious schools in Nagoya that was led by a young braveheart. Tonight, the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team will be getting along with each other for the first time as this special chapter will be a table talk. The Bravehearts of Nagoya will share about their last year’s campaign of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team. Be warned that this update had taken place on the same day as Chapters 159 and 160, so you’re gonna see some of the teams that they have competed against the Torodoki Gakuen Elementary School during the last year’s city tournament and prefectural tournament when you read this special update. So, without further ado, let the Bravehearts of Nagoya gleam and bless everyone as here comes the fifteenth special chapter of the series! Enjoy reading Special Chapter 15!

Ever since the Bravehearts of Nagoya had been formed last January 15 following the successful campaign of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team where they have won the city tournament for Eastern Nagoya against the Hataya Elementary School, Kira and her friends have remembered their last season, which was very blissful and very beautiful because of their angelic performance they have. Doing the table talk, the Bravehearts of Nagoya would share to the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team about their last school year’s campaign of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team where they have won the East Nagoya Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Tournament to qualify for the Aichi Prefecture Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Tournament before losing to Miyata Elementary School of Kōnan in the quarterfinals. They also talk about the players that they recognized such as Chika Ōtsubo, Nagisa Tosaka, Asuka Inami, Chisako Arimoto and Shiori Miyamae. During the talk, Emiri Tanahashi would join with the Bravehearts of Nagoya and their friends as she was a childhood friend of Kira Ōgaki. Because of that, Emiri would eventually join the Bravehearts of Nagoya while letting her group, the Lumiere Red Mitsurugi, will be joining as well. Now that the Bravehearts of Nagoya had once again being expanded, thanks to the acquisition of the other new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team and Emiri Tanahashi, Kira and her friends will finally make sure that they’ll continue gleam and bless everyone with their heart of compassion and fruitful destiny.

    [OPENING: 「ファイブ! サスペクツ!」 by SPR5]
SPR5 is composed of Haruka Shamoto, Emiri Iwai, Hina Suguta, Aguri Ōnishi and Hikari Sonoyama.

VOLUME 8: “A NEW ANGELIC AND HARMONIOUS ERA IN ŌTA”
SPECIAL CHAPTER 15: “A BEAUTIFUL TEAM OF BRAVEHEARTS WHO GLEAM AND BLESS EVERYONE

It was a special day for the Bravehearts of Nagoya as they invited the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School basketball team in a walk after their classes were over. Everyone knows that the Bravehearts of Nagoya are considered blessed and inspired because they have befriended their allies through their hearts.

At the family restaurant owned by the Takezono family, the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team are staying in a bigger table while the members of the Viridian Salmon are doing their part-time job as junior staff members of the cooking division.

“So, this is the Viridian Salmon restaurant, Chiyo-chan?” asked Kyōko Ninomiya, a new member of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team. Kyōko’s hair color is amber while her cousin Yukari’s hair color is pastel orange.

“Yep. This is where my family business had been running for about 20 years through my grandfather. My father Haruhisa had been the cook for a long time after my grandfather retired from cooking” said Chiyo.

“Ah, I see. That restaurant was so nice for gourmet dining even it’s almost 5 in the afternoon” said Kyōko.

“Yep. Aside from serving gourmet dishes, we served Japanese dishes in different categories from appetizers to main course” said Chiyo.

“Oh, I get it! That sounds like your restaurant had a lot of flavors to taste!” said Kyōko.

“Yep. You will no longer be craved when you’ll eat here!” said Chiyo.

    “Yeah, Chiyo-chan!” said Kyōko.

“Have you worked there in this fantastic restaurant?” asked Rika Hibino.

“I worked there for every Thursday and Friday while my siblings have their own schedule to work in this restaurant. We shared the schedule which allows me to work there twice a week” said Chiyo.

“Ah, I see. So, you must be good in saving your money while working out there. It seems that you have worked hard to impress your parents with your dishes you create” said Rika.

“Well, I hope so, Rika. I have five other siblings with me being the third child. The names of my other siblings were Hayato, Chinami, Hidetaka and Chisaki” said Chiyo.

“Are your siblings worked too?” asked Rika.

“Uh, only Hayato and Chinami were working while Hidetaka and Chisaki don’t. Both Hidetaka and Chisaki are still young to cook. They’re still little kids though” said Chiyo.

    “Oh, I understand” said Rika.

“But of course, they’re staying in the chef’s office, watching some anime on television” said Chiyo.

“Well, that’s better for them, Chiyo. I hope that once they grow up, they’ll end up do their own job in this restaurant” said Rika.

“Yeah” said Chiyo. “By the way, can I start ordering your food?”

“Okay!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

A few minutes later, they finish saying their orders which Chiyo smiles on her face. “Okay, everyone! That was a lot of orders if you ask me. I’ll bring your orders for about 20 minutes.”

“Sure, we will, Chiyo!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

While Chiyo starts cooking the dishes for her friends to eat, the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team are having a conversation right now while waiting for the dishes to be served.

“Now, new members, since you have been part of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team and the Bravehearts of Nagoya, I think that it’s time for us to do some conversation before the dishes would be out soon” said Kira.

“Okay!” said Akie Morikawa, Shōko Amemiya, Rika Hibino, Kyōko Ninomiya and Shizue Niwa.

“So, what are you going to tell us, Kira-san?” asked Akie.

“That’s a good question, Akie-san. You see, we want you to know about what happened to us last season” said Kira.

“Last season? Well, that’s an interesting topic to me” said Shōko.

“This may be filled with memories that it happened last season in the district tournament” said Rika.

“Yeah! Before we formed the Bravehearts of Nagoya, we were able to win the district tournament against the Hataya Elementary School to advance to the prefectural tournament” said Megumi Kazama.

“This is the first time that we have led our team to the prefectural tournament since Eri Toyama had led her team five years ago” said Yuiko.

“In the prefectural tournament, we barely survive against the tougher opponents in the third round and the fourth round before we bowed out of the competition against the Miyata Elementary School” said Yūmi.

“The quarterfinal finish in our campaign for the prefectural tournament had surpassed the fourth round finish that happened five years ago” said Aki.

“Is Eri had been a member of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team?” asked Kyōko.

“Yeah, she had been the tournament’s MVP when she led Todoroki Gakuen into win the girls’ tournament. Shinobu had also been the tournament’s MVP in the boys’ tournament, which is the main reason why both Shinobu and Eri have been a great job to make themselves earned for winning the elementary school district tournament” said Megumi Kazama.

“What’s more about this is that Eri was a power forward due to her strength and prowess. Sometimes, she played as a center, but she’s not capable of dunking the ball because she’s good in layups” said Kira.

“So, does your team had able to fulfill the expectations compared to our previous teams?” asked Shizue.

“Yeah, Shizue-san! Our team had fulfilled our expectations because we were able to work hard to perform well as well as making the moves to shine in the court” said Kira.

“The head coach Michiya Watanabe had been a good coach for a young age of 37. He’s also a close friend of Hidekazu Kagami, the head coach of the boys’ basketball team” said Yuiko.

“He was the one who played his own playbook, so that he taught us some moves” said Yūmi.

“It was very nice to have a lot of achievements that you have made while for us, we made it so far in either fourth round or quarterfinals. The more you made the progress, the better you have accomplishments to finish” said Shizue.

“Yeah, that’s right, Shizue-san. Now that our coach Funatani-sensei had seen your moves in the tryout and our first training yesterday, you’re going to be ready for some drills to take” said Megumi Kazama.

“And then, once you’re good enough to meet the expectations every day, you’ll be able to power up to groove and shine” said Aki.

“Yeah, we agree about that!” said Aki, Shōko, Rika, Kyōko and Shizue.

“So, what we’re going to do right now is that you want to know about our matches in the district tournament. It’s been a while that all of us have made our progress to get ourselves earned” said Kira.

“Yeah!” said Akie, Shōko, Rika, Kyōko and Shizue.

“Okay, then, this will be a sort of summary on what happened in the district tournament. Of course, you have watched our matches including the one between our team and Horita-tōri in the quarterfinals” said Kira.

“So, get ready because you’re going to see some action and it’s going to be fun!” said Rumi Saito.

“Are you ready for this?” asked Yuiko.

“Yeah!” said Akie, Shōko, Rika Kyōko and Shizue.

“So, let’s recall the first three matches of the last year’s district tournament” said Kira.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

The flashback begins as the montage of the first three matches of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team in the East Nagoya Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Tournament.

“The first match was against the Itaka Elementary School from Meito. It was led by Asuka Inami. We worked very well with our playbook have been paid off, plus, we saw Erika and Rumi shining from the bench” said Kira.

“Yeah, Kira-chan! That’s when I started shooting three-point shots while Rumi gained the leverage as she was able to defend against her opponents” said Erika Yoshioka.

“But let’s not forget that Chiyo, Sumire and Reina have done a lot of efforts too including Sumire blocking her opponent’s shot, Reina does the ankle breaker move and Chiyo pulling off the jump shot” said Rumi. The person who had her shot being blocked by Sumire was Kasumi Nishimura, who is currently a sixth grade elementary school student from the Itaka Elementary School.

“At the end of the match, the score was 90-62, which was the largest margin of victory so far” said Megumi.

“Then, in the second match, we took on the Haruoka Elementary School, led by Fumiko Kajino. This is where Yūmi had battled against Fumiko in a battle of tall girls in the court” said Megumi Kazama.

“Yeah, Megumi-san! That match was giving me some motivation when I’m defending the rim against Fumiko. Fumiko was an inside shooter and I was able to stop her thrice. It was so amazing that I have shined out with my yellow aura and I like my style of both being the rim defender and the inside shooter” said Yūmi.

“You got that right, Yūmi-san! When you’re playing like a center, you would be able to put some pressure and hustle to block your opponent’s shots and prevent them to enter the paint” said Aki.

“Yep! I’m glad that I have done this very well!” said Yūmi.

“Then, the third match, which is the fourth round, would be against the Shirotori Ōseko Elementary School from Atsuta. Iori Ōdate was the team captain of the school’s basketball program and this is where Yuiko had clashed against her in a duel for the most three-point shots” said Rumi.

“Yep. I had been a good three-point shooter while boosting myself to do playmaking moves. Iori had been a great playmaker while giving her teammates the ball quickly” said Yuiko.

“Well, you have been making three-point shots in the corner, Yuiko-san. You should have leveled up to be like Kazumasa” said Erika.

“Yeah! The way I shoot three-point shots wasn’t bad at all. That’s how you need to accelerate with your shot release” said Kazumasa Nonaka.

“Oh, of course, Kazumasa! But you know what the best part is, I was able to make the three-point shot over the face of Iori during the final quarter” said Yuiko.

“Hey, I saw that one!” said Akie.

    “Yeah, me too!” said Shōko.

“That shot was so good of yours, Yuiko! I can’t wait to do that for myself!” said Rika.

“Well, I would be glad to, Rika! I’m the one who can make good shots to become unstoppable!” said Yuiko.

“You got that right, Yuiko-san! The scores in the second and third matches were 79-65 and 86-68. The win over Shirotori Ōseko would advance us to the quarterfinals where we battle against Shizue Niwa and the Horita-tōri Elementary School” said Kira before the flashback was ended.

The scene changes to Shizue talking to Kira. “Well, we know about that match, Kira-san. I would be honest if I’m going to explain some good things I have in my last season.”

    “Sure, Shizue-san” said Kira.

“Now, before my team had to battle against my rival’s team, we took on the Yomei Elementary School in the fourth round. Rika and I have clashed with each other for the best small forward in the Mizuho Ward, and I was able to beat her with a driving layup finish” said Shizue.

“Well, you should have posterized me, Shizue-san, but you’re not aggressive after all because you’re much expressive just like Kira” said Rika.

“Of course not, Rika-san! I’m not opposing to anyone who were not good and weak because I believe in them. It’s great that I have been blessed when she welcomed me to join the Bravehearts of Nagoya” said Shizue.

“Oh, that’s awesome, Shizue-san! I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do to work with your rival!” said Rika.

“Kira was a good and ambitious leader with her cheerful personality. Her cheerful personality can’t fall behind you” said Kyōko.

“Yeah, I agree, girls! So, Kira-san, shall we roll the flashback?” said Shizue.

“Sure, you will, Shizue-san!” said Kira.

The flashback was shown when the players of Todoroki Gakuen and Horita-tōri have squared off against each other in the court. Later, Kira and Shizue would battle against each other with their auras coming out.

“That match was so epic, Kira-san! I never expect to have this match being remembered after I have battled you” said Shizue.

“Of course, Shizue-san! Since you’re my rival, you’re very carefree when you are not in the counter, but when you’re in the court, you’re more expressive to take care of your team” said Kira.

“I agree, Kira-san. When you and I have the auras, we battled for the stamina and acceleration. I really like to be nice when I’m battling against you and it feels like you’re my perfect girl to team up with for this year” said Shizue.

“Yeah, I agree, Shizue-san!” said Kira.

“When you’re using your violet aura, you’re much faster to drive your move as well as your shooting. It feels like you’re very compatible to different team captains that we have faced in the prefectural tournament” said Rumi.

“Yep. I really like to play like an all-around player because I like to go either offense or defense, but the one that I don’t know is the dunking. My height is not good enough to dunk the ball, usually, dunking is for taller players like Fumiko Kajino or Kazuyo Ishida of Hoshigaoka” said Shizue.

“You’re right, Shizue-san. I think that you should be focused on doing layups and floaters because you are good enough to power up with those moves to shine” said Rumi.

“Yeah, that’s how I do when I’m going to the paint to the paint, but when I’m on outside shooting, I made three-point shots in deep range” said Shizue.

“Well, I agree on what you’re saying, Shizue-san. I got that the same thing, which means that we’re good in both inside and outside shooting” said Kira.

“Oh, yeah! I really agree with that, Kira-san! Hopefully, we should be ready to keep an eye on our shooting meter if we can shoot well” said Shizue.

“Yeah, I agree! I hope that you’ll meet your former teammates soon. They’re out to study in different schools” said Kira.

“I would be glad to meet them again, Kira-san! My former teammates like Mayumi Todoroki, Hikari Masaoka, Kiyoko Yoshida and Misaki Fukuda” said Shizue.

“Where are they studying now?” asked Megumi Kazama.

“They’re in either studying in Horita-tōri or Mizuhogaoka Middle School” said Shizue.

“Are you sure that you are going to meet them as soon as possible?” asked Aki.

“Yes, of course, Aki-san! That’s what expressive players like me must do to meet your former friends from your former school. As soon as I want to be nice to them even that I’m no longer in Horita-tōri, I will make them happy when I will see them again” said Shizue.

“Then, let’s see if we’re going to work on this, Shizue-san” said Kira.

“You can count us because we want you to be happy. Right, Shizue-san?” said Yuiko.

“Yeah!” said Shizue before the flashback had been ended.

Shōko asks Shizue what the final score of the match between Todoroki Gakuen and Horita-tōri. “What was the score of that match?”

“Well, it was 77-74 in favor of Kira’s school. It was the best match that Kira and I have battled so far” said Shizue.

“Ah, that was a close one, Shizue-san. I don’t know if you’re good enough to beat your rival Kira, but that should have been a good match” said Shōko.

“Yeah, but I’m really fine after my team and I have lost the match against Kira and her team” said Shizue.

“But it’s still a good match because you have done a lot of things to shine” said Shōko.

    “Yeah, Shōko-san!” said Shizue.

The scene changes to Akie talking to Erika about the next match for the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team. “Erika-san. After that match against Horita-tōri, would it be nice to see what the next match would be looked like?”

“Oh, yeah, that was our semifinal match against the Hoshigaoka Elementary School. That school was dominantly strong in Chikusa, they were the team that defeated Fukudagyo in the third round” said Erika.

“Yeah, Hoshigaoka was led by Nagisa Tosaka, who is now studying in Hoshigaoka Middle School in Chikusa. She is a combo forward with her formidable defense can’t lose her patience for herself” said Reina.

“Well, that sounds like she’s good to show her willpower when she’s going on clutch time with her contact moves in the paint” said Akie.

“Yep. Now, onto the match anyway!” said Erika.

The flashback was shown when Kira and Megumi are battling against Nagisa Tosaka in the court. Nagisa had been controlling the game in the first half, but Kira and Megumi were able to deflate Nagisa’s shooting strategy.

“It was one of the matches that we have struggled in the first half because Nagisa was so good in blocking our shots” said Kira.

“And she even fouled me when I’m going to go for the driving layup. I wasn’t expected that Nagisa was good on defense” said Megumi Kazama.

“Yeah, Megumi-san. However, during the third quarter, Michiya pulled off a different strategy when we’re battling against that Nagisa girl. It was composed of me, you, Reina, Yuiko, Sumire” said Kira.

“Hey, Kira! That’s where I decided to start making good defensive force against both Nagisa and Kazuyo! Those girls have been performing like monsters, I tell you!” said Sumire.

“Oh, yes, it was, Sumire-san. You are the one who was able to block Nagisa’s layup during the end of the third quarter. Then, I gave you the ball for the alley-oop after you pushed your strength against Nagisa” said Kira.

“Ah, yes! I remember that moment because I am quickly a good hustler when I grab the ball and it feels me happy to show my aura coming out for the first time. My periwinkle aura was getting stronger when we’re using the Complete Synchronization Skill” said Sumire.

“Yeah, Sumire-san! We were able to take out Nagisa and her team with the score of 72-64 to advance to the finals of the district tournament. It was a good game against them because we’re able to overcome the odds to stop them” said Kira.

“Yep! I like the way we turned things around before our other teammates have shown their willpower as well when we’re on fire” said Sumire.

“You got that right!” said Kira.

“Oh! I hope that we could work on that strategy, Sumire-san! You should be more determined when you’re battling against a stronger power faceup four that had some greater strength” said Reina.

“Yeah, Reina! If Kira and her friends have done that before, we should do that in the same way” said Sumire.

    “Of course, Sumire-san!” said Reina.

“What kind of role are you, Sumire-san?” asked Shōko.

“I’m an inside scorer and an indoor defender because of my hustle and stamina. Unlike Rumi, who was a good outside shooter, I’m good in dunking and blocking because I’m more focused on the paint” said Sumire.

“Well, that’s very nice, Sumire-san. I think that role suited you to be brave and vigilant. Unless if you want to be serious, you should go intense rebounding if you want to” said Shōko.

“Yeah, I should do that, Shōko-san. That suggestion was nice because I should be more focused on the defense to make sure that I’m going to watch out for some inside shooters or floater specialists to drive their way. I’m going to stop them with my aura” said Sumire.

“Then, you should keep on making defensive stops against them, so that you’ll be able to let their opponents miss their shots” said Akie.

“That way, you’ll be more hustling just like the other young defenders are doing right now” said Shōko.

“Yeah, I agree!” said Sumire while the flashback ends with her finally forced Nagisa to miss the layup.

“So, you have made it to the finals of the district tournament and since you were able make it to the semifinals, you received a berth to the prefectural tournament. Is that correct?” asked Kyōko.

“Yeah, Kyōko-san! Since we beat Horita-tōri in the quarterfinals, we were able to get the spot to qualify for the prefectural tournament. The other teams that they have qualified as well were Hoshigaoka (Chikusa), Hataya (Atsuta) and Mitsurugi (Mizuho)” said Kira.

“Who had led Mitsurugi last season, Kira-san?” asked Akie.

“The captain of the Mitsurugi Elementary School girls’ basketball team was Emiri Tanahashi. Emiri is now studying in the Mitsurugi Middle School, a private middle school located in my home district. It’s just 500 meters away from my home. She is one of my childhood friends in Mitsurugi because she was playing like a playmaker” said Kira.

“Oh, I see. I can’t believe that she is a good basketball player, Kira-san. I should have known if she had transferred to our school this year, but she’s very different with her own path” said Akie.

“Yeah, I agree, Akie-san. There are a lot of my childhood friends in Mitsurugi and I was very delighted that she had been on a high note in her elementary school career just like me last year” said Kira.

“Is her hair colored orange or red?” asked Kyōko.

“Her hair is red orange, but unlike my childhood friends, she had a relative in Tokyo. Her name is Sawako Tanahashi, who is studying in the Tsukuba Gakuen Elementary School as a sixth grader” said Kira.

“Wow! Is she cute?” said Akie.

“Yeah! She’s just 11 years old and she was raised in Tokyo when she was a little girl. Anyway, as I’m saying, Emiri wanted to join the Bravehearts of Nagoya because she was my childhood friend and I have wait for her to meet me and answer my invitation that I gave her a few days ago” said Kira.

“Where is she now?” asked Kyōko.

“She’s on her way to visit this place, Kyōko-san. I hope that she’ll be ready to partner with us once the agreement is settled” said Kira.

“Ah, okay. I’m going to say that you had some close friends who loves to be determined and expressive” said Akie.

“And everyone knows that you’re a top player in your class” said Kyōko.

“Yeah, that’s right, Kyōko-san. I hope that once she’ll be here, she’ll answer my invitation to join the Bravehearts of Nagoya” said Kira.

“I hope that she’ll be coming here after you called her early” said Kyōko.

“Maybe, she’s having issues with her parents” said Akie.

“Not at all, Akie-san. She’s a respectful to girl to anyone and she’s going to be more delighted to partner with me once she’s answering my offer” said Kira.

“Okay, Kira-san, we understand” said Akie and Kyōko.

Chiyo and Mikuni Hirano arrive to place the dishes at the table. Chiyo sweetly says to the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team. “Here are you orders, everyone! Whew! It’s not bad after I have done this yesterday.”

“You can start eating your food if you want, guys” said Mikuni Hirano.

“Okay!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

“Now, everyone! We’ll have to pause it for now because our orders are finally here” said Megumi Kazama.

“It’s served up and we’re going to eat together” said Yuiko.

“That’s right, Megumi-san and Yuiko-san! We’ll continue the conversation later, and hopefully, we’ll continue to share about what happened last season” said Kira.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

“Chiyo-san, you can come with us if you want. After all, you treated us, right?” said Kira.

“Sure, Kira! No mind if I do!” said Chiyo as she removes her apron and mittens before sitting down beside Sumire and Reina. “I’m all set!”

“Good! Now, let’s thank the food first before we eat!” said Kira.

“Okay!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

Kira and the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team would bow their hands before the food as they thank the food together.

“Thanks for the food!” said Kira before the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team would say that after Kira done saying it.

“Now, let’s eat our dinner!” said Kira and Chiyo.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team as they start eating their dinner together with the Japanese and gourmet dishes they ordered.

Part 2 will be on the next post.

Re: Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts - The Ro-Kyu-Bu!/Tenshi no 3P! X High School DxD Crossover Series

Volume 8: "A New Angelic and Harmonious Era in Ōta" | Special Chapter 15: "A Beautiful Team of Bravehearts who Gleam and Bless Everyone"

    Part 2

After they finished eating their dinner, the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team continue their conversation about recalling the last season of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team.

“I’m feeling so good, Kira-san” said Megumi Kazama.

“Yeah, me too! Our friends have done eating their dinner as well!” said Kira.

“Yeah, that’s right, Kira-san! These dishes I made are cooked and served by me. I hope you like it!” said Chiyo.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

    “That’s great!” said Chiyo.

“Now, it’s going to be perfect to continue this conversation, so that you’ll see the flashback of the match between our Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team and the Hataya Elementary School boys’ basketball team” said Sumire.

“Yeah, Sumire! This match is the final of the East Nagoya Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Tournament where we’re going to finish that tournament with one more win” said Yuiko.

“You got that right, Yuiko-san!” said Kira. “Now, it’s time to check out that match to see what we have played in the final of the district tournament against Hataya.”

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

The flashback was shown with the match between Todoroki Gakuen and Hataya in the final of the East Nagoya Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Tournament. In the flashback, Kira and her teammates have battled against Chika Ōtsubo and her teammates in the court where the former’s team had shown their moves, trying to outlast the latter’s team.

“In that match, it was one of the matches that made us pressured because Chika and her team have focused on the defense while we’re trying to score. Chika was able to force our shots to be missed while she performed the pump fake on me and Aki” said Kira.

“Yeah, Kira-san! Chika had not been the top player in East Nagoya, but despite of that, she was able to crush her opponents with her force” said Aki.

“Yep. Unlike the other top players that we have seen, Chika was very hardy to show her special moves in the court. She can make driving layups with her acceleration” said Kira.

“That stamina of hers had been looking good when she was dazzling her moves like a superstar” said Rumi.

“That’s right, Rumi-chan. Chika likes to go on defense while trying to drain her stamina with her defensive stop while she can get away from her opponents through her grayish eyes” said Aki.

“That grayish eyes seemed to be moving when she detected a move against her opponent” said Kyōko.

“Of course, Kyōko-san! Chika is a solid small forward and she can bank the cornered shots just like me and Shizue did” said Kira.

“Yeah! That girl had some talent with her own versatility because she can put her own game just to make sure that she’s going on fire” said Shizue.

“Actually, she is determined to make shots, but also she can defend herself to stop her opponents from getting past on her” said Shōko.

“Oh, yes, she was, Shōko-san. I’m having a feeling that she had been a great player to star it out, but Kira was able to stop her, and I also helped her out when she needed me to go for the screen” said Aki.

“Your pick-and-roll play had been nice to get yourself accelerating to stop your opponent” said Akie.

“Yeah, that’s true, Akie-san. One thing that I liked the most in the match against Hataya is that when I missed the jump shot, Kira was able to grab the ball by dashing her own drive to get away from Chika. Then, Kira was able to pass the ball to me, so that I made the fadeaway shot. It was so good that I have made that shot, which allows our team to get the double-digit lead” said Aki.

“You got that right, Aki-san! You’re a good player with your pastel orange aura blazing up” said Kira.

“Yeah, Kira-san! I’m so confident that we have that match something more like a big finish to walk away with the championship” said Aki.

“Yep. When the buzzer was sounded, we defeated Hataya with the score of 80-74. It was the first time that we have won the match against a team that have a top player who had done such great efforts last year. Last year, Hataya made it to the quarterfinals, but they fall to the Ohae Elementary School” said Kira.

“Well, it was a nice game that you have, Kira-san! Now that you have won the district tournament. You and your teammates have finally made it to the prefectural tournament” said Shizue.

“Yep. Like I said earlier, my team had been dazzling with gleamed special moves and unstoppable pink auras to make sure that we’re going to rally for the win” said Kira.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya.

“Well, I’m so happy for that, Kira-san! Winning the district tournament means that you have a lot of blessings to make your team stronger” said Kyōko.

“Your team had been awesome with some fantastic moves that you made your opponents shocked in surprise. I can’t believe that you and your teammates have been blessed with the wins you have made” said Rika.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya while the flashback ends when Kira and Chika shook each other’s hands after the match is over.

“It’s a great campaign that we have won the district tournament that we have brought back the glory of the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team” said Kira.

“That’s why we’re very determined to make the best moment that we’ll earn ourselves a win” said Aki.

“The wins that we made were a sign of blessing that gleamed us to be stronger. As the tournament came to an end, this is the time where we finally made a big challenge that we made in the next tournament, which is the prefectural tournament” said Erika.

“The Aichi Prefecture Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Tournament had been composed of a lot of good and competitive teams to determine the best elementary school girls’ basketball team in the Aichi Prefecture” said Rumi.

“Yeah, we agree, Rumi!” said Akie, Shōko, Rika, Kyōko and Shizue.

“If I remember correctly, Kira-san, you have a match that was the very good moment so far in the prefectural tournament” said Akie.

“You mean, our match against the Yahagi Kita Elementary School of Okazaki? Ah, yes, that’s the match where the game ended in overtime. Usually, the match would be intense if the games goes to overtime” said Kira.

“Yes, it was, Kira-san. I watched that match when you and your teammates have made a strategy to stop their shooting strategy, which was totally fantastic!” said Akie.

“You got that right, Akie-san! We made a strategy called the Blessing Gleam Accelerator. It is a strategy to make the players’ speed doubled for pump fakes and ankle breaking moves. Also, it can be used when you’re on an intense battle against some tougher opponents from different teams outside Nagoya” said Kira.

“Ah, I see. That was one-of-a-kind strategy to make them lose their focus on defense” said Akie.

“Yep. I agree, Akie-san!” said Kira.

“By the way, Kira-san, who the team captain of that opposing team was?” asked Rika.

“The Yahagi Kira Elementary School girls’ basketball team led been led by Suzuko Narita, who is now a first year student from the Yahagi Middle School. Suzuko was playing as a point guard and she’s a shot creator” said Kira.

“Well, that girl had some talent with that shot creating skills, Kira-san! I believe that she’s one of the top players in Aichi” said Rika.

“Almost, Rika-san. Most of the top female elementary school players are in Nagoya, but there also some good and talented players coming from Kasugai and Inazawa” said Kira.

“Wow! That seems like most of the players like us have stronger moves to shine compared to the other players from different cities in Aichi” said Shizue.

“Yep. Nagoya had been a solid production of young players that were good in shooting from the inside and outside and defending in the rim and the paint” said Kira.

“Because of that, everyone knows that in Nagoya, there are a lot of gleamed and blessed young players to come out to shine, so that they’ll make their careers brighter once they reach to the high ranks like the Tokai regional league or even the Japanese Basketball League” said Megumi Kazama.

“I’m confident about what the players from Nagoya would be looked like and I’m sure that they’ll continue to bring the auras from their bodies to groove with their dazzling and shining moves” said Shōko.

“I believe that it’s going to be a meaningful year that there are going to be some good talented players hoping to bring their great game with their styles of play they have from shooting…” said Akie.

    “…to playmaking…” said Shizue.

    “…to defending…” said Rika.

    “…to rebounding” said Kyōko.

“It’s going to be great we can work together to make us stronger once we’re ready to shine in the court in a different level” said Shizue.

“Yeah, Shizue-san, I agree! That’s why it’s going to be our year to continue growing our teamwork to rally for the win. Right, everyone?” said Kira.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

“So, it’s already 6:15 in the evening and it takes an hour to stay here for a conversation about remembering the last season. Hopefully, we’ll finally wait for another person to arrive” said Kazumasa.

“Yeah, of course, Kazumasa-san! We ate our dinner together earlier, which means that we’re still have a lot of time to recall the last season before we’ll go back home” said Kira.

“Oh, okay. I believe that we still have more minutes to stay here. Probably, when it reaches 7:00 in the evening, we should all go out for sure” said Kazumasa.

“Yeah, you got it, Kazumasa-san!” said Kira.

“Now, new members, what do you want to know about?” asked Erika.

“How about we want to know if you have some new friends from different schools during the district tournament and the prefectural tournament? That way, we’ll finally know about them after you have faced them” said Shizue.

“That’s an interesting topic we need to share with you” said Rumi.

“This one will be more amazing to share because during the tournaments, we have a lot of new friends that were coming from our city or in Aichi” said Erika.

“I hope that you all like this one!” said Reina.

“Yeah!” said Akie, Shōko, Rika Kyōko and Shizue.

“I can’t wait to see your new friends wanting to know about your rivals from different schools during the last year’s tournaments” said Mikuni Hirano.

“Yeah, Mikuni-san! This will be great to make sure that they’ll remember us after the match is over” said Kira.

“Hopefully, we’ll see them again in the middle school prefectural tournament” said Megumi Kazama.

“Well, I hope so. I’ll be hearing those names, so that we’ll remember them as soon as possible” said Mikuni.

    “Okay!” said Kira and Megumi.

Later, Emiri Tanahashi would arrive from the entrance of the Viridian Salmon to meet her childhood friend Kira, who was ready to share about her rivals from last year’s district tournament and the prefectural tournament.

Emiri smiles on her face while waving her hands to say ‘hi’ to Kira. “Hi, Kira! It’s me, Emiri!”

“Oh, it’s you, Emiri-san! You’re just in time to hear our conversation about our rivals from last year’s district tournament and the prefectural tournament” said Kira.

“Yeah, I see! I really like to know about them even that we have done great performance in those tournaments we participate” said Emiri.

    “Yeah!” said Kira.

“We don’t know what happened to your team, Emiri-san. What happened in the prefectural tournament?” said Shōko.

“We were beaten in the fourth round by the Kasugai Elementary School girls’ basketball team. Their captain Mika Wakamatsu had been a great and talented girl that she created a lot of shots, even she beat me in the shooting challenge” said Emiri.

“Well, you could have been advanced to the quarterfinals just like Kira’s school did. Those students from Kasugai are really looked good to shine their way” said Shizue.

“And also, they’re more dazzling with their beautiful strength” said Kyōko.

“Yeah, I agree about what you’re saying, girls. Mika went on fire when she tried to rally against us and I tried to stop her, but she got too much on me. As a result, I didn’t able to stop Mika because she liked to perform pump fakes and converted layups in the paint” said Emiri.

“I guess that some players may end up getting their auras glow when she’s rallying the team with her own strategy. You should have made a strategy to stop her, but I hope that it will be fine to stop her once they’ll meet your school soon” said Kira.

“Yeah, I understand about that, Kira. I have to say that Mika was considered a prospect and she’s already shining her way to score” said Emiri.

“Of course, Emiri-san, I agree!” said Kira. “Anyway, shall we start the conversation?”

“You got it!” said Emiri while the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team have nodded their heads to agree with Kira.

“Let’s start with the district tournament. In the second round, we made friends with Asuka Inami. Asuka was impressed of my performance, even she didn’t beat me in our clash. That girl had been potential to be the best, but she’s not good enough to shine against me” said Kira.

“Asuka is from Meito and she’s now studying in the Meito Gakuen Middle School. Asuka had started to be close to me because she had worked on making her own extended group known as the Lavender Stars of Meito” said Yuiko.

“Wow! That was awesome! I can’t wait to see her before my eyes in the prefectural tournament! Asuka might be talented I tell you!” said Akie.

“Yeah, you got that right, Akie-san! Asuka came from the Etoile Meito Penuvender. She’s very expressive and cheerful while showing her lavender aura when she is playing like a captain” said Kira.

“That’s so cool, Kira-san!” said Akie.

“I would imagine if she’s going to train with us like a practice match” said Kyōko.

“That would be better, Kyōko-san, but if I remember correctly, Funatani-sensei will be planning on teaming up with the other middle school basketball team, so that we’ll arrange practice matches with them” said Megumi Kazama.

“Well, that’s going to be fantastic!” said Rika.

    “And beautiful too!” said Shizue.

“Yeah!” said Kira, Megumi and Yuiko.

“The next person that we befriended is Fumiko Kajino from the Haruoka Elementary School. Fumiko is a power forward and a center, who had some good hustling moves to shine with. She’s now studying in the Chikusa Nishi Middle School” said Yūmi.

“Aside from her, there’s also another person who became friends with us. Her name is Miku Sakawaki, a shooting guard playing for the Chikusa Nishi Middle School” said Aki.

“Are they tough players, Yūmi-san?” asked Rika.

“Yeah, Rika-san! Miku was a sharpshooter as she can do the passing to pass the ball to Fumiko. Both Miku and Fumiko have teamed up together to make their moves” said Yūmi.

“Hey, that sounds like you and Aki have the combination moves just like them!” said Shizue.

“Yep. I made the sharpshooting moves while I’m playing like a small forward while Yūmi was good in interior defense” said Aki.

“Defense can lead into offense if you have some good hustle to show with” said Yūmi.

“Ah, yeah. That also make good inside moves to score when you’re draining the stamina as you pass the ball to a big girl” said Kyōko.

“Big girls like me have some good abilities to go defense or rebound to make sure that you’re going for the hustle” said Rika.

“Yeah, Rika-san! That’s why being a big girl can make some good shots in the paint if you’re good in acceleration and stamina” said Yūmi.

“While on the other hand, scrappers like me can make the game-changing moves to make that you’re dazzling without losing your energy” said Aki.

“Of course, Aki-san!” said Kyōko and Rika.

“Then, for the Shirotori Ōseko Elementary School girls’ basketball team, we befriended Iori Ōdate and Sakura Imamura. Sakura is a shooting guard while Iori is a point guard” said Erika.

“Iori and Sakura have battled against both Yuiko and Reina where they have been good in three-point shooting. Iori was seemed to be good in making three-point shots from beyond the arc” said Reina.

“Of course, she’s not always coming out to go playmaking, but she’s very interested to score more while removing their sweats” said Rumi.

“Yeah, we agree!” said Akie and Shōko.

“I believe that there are a lot of shooters who can make three-point shots easily with others can go for the layups and floaters, Kira” said Emiri.

“Yeah, Emiri-san! That’s why there are a lot of shot creators in this city where they have been interested to go for scoring abilities to make sure that they’ll be able to get the job done in scoring a lot of points” said Kira.

“Yup! I agree, Kira!” said Emiri.

“Then, since we already befriended Shizue due to her being part of the Bravehearts of Nagoya being the first non-Todoroki Gakuen student to be part of our team, it’s time to move on to another school, the Hoshigaoka Elementary School” said Sumire.

“It was led by Nagisa Tosaka and her teammates include Chinami Sunaga and Kazuyo Ishida” said Chiyo.

“We become friends with them after our match against them. Nagisa had been a great player when it comes to interior defense and dunk moves. She even had a protégé Emiko Kanazawa, who’s now the new vice captain to the new captain for this year Rie Kanamori” said Sumire.

“Where is she now?” asked Shizue.

“Oh, she’s now in Hoshigaoka Middle School where she became a member of the girls’ basketball team of that school” said Chiyo.

“Hopefully, her protégé Emiko will be ready to step up into the court to battle against us, which would be fantastic to clash with her” said Sumire.

“Well, we’ll watch out for that match, Sumire-san and Chiyo-san, but it will be depended on what the tournament bracket would be looked like” said Shizue.

“Since your school’s elementary school girls’ basketball program had won the tournament last year, I believe that your school will end up having a good draw in the second round” said Rika.

“Second round is better than the first round if you have done great in the last season” said Shōko.

“Yeah, we agree, Shōko!” said Sumire and Chiyo.

“And in the final, we became friends with Chika Ōtsubo, who’s now studying in the Hataya Middle School. Chika was a scrapper because of her tenacious shooting and lockdown defensive attributes” said Kira.

“Also, Chika’s teammates such as Mitsuki Hirata, Saki Minazuki, Satomi Kawamoto, Hitomi Nakajō and Mayumi Shionoya have been friends with us too!” said Megumi.

“Since they were living in Atsuta, they were living near our hometown” said Yuiko.

    “Oh, I see!” said Shizue.

“Looks like they’re very close to your home and one day, they’ll be here to meet with us for a day” said Kyōko.

“Yeah, Kyōko-san! Since Atsuta is close to us, we might be able to visit their home if we want to!” said Yūmi.

“That way, we’ll be able to meet Chika and her friends, so that we’ll be able to get along with them” said Aki.

“Yeah!” said Akie, Shōko, Rika, Kyōko, Shizue and Emiri.

“What about the new friends you have met in the prefectural tournament, Kira?” asked Emiri.

“Oh, yes, Emiri-san. We have met a lot of new friends out there where they’re coming from different teams such as Chisaki Arimoto, Ruri Sugita, Naoko Miyahara and Saki Takahashi of Miyata in Kōnan” said Kira.

“Suzuko Narita, Tomiko Kitahara, Haruka Tanahashi and Momo Tokushige of Yahagi Kita in Okazaki” said Yuiko.

“Moeki Matsumoto, Rina Kurashima, Nao Takatsuka and Seira Ishikawa of Shimoji in Toyohashi” said Yūmi.

“And Kira Kitagawa, Sayako Yada, Kiyoko Aoki, Nanako Shinomiya and Akiho Ozaki of Takao in Fusō” said Aki.

“On the other hand, we even met some of the students from different schools that we didn’t met in the tournament” said Megumi Kazama.

“Such as Kasugai’s Mika Wakamatsu, Nana Okasaki and Umeko Yoshida” said Erika.

“And Imaike’s Shiori Miyamae and Mamiko Okuda” said Rumi.

“Wow! That’s a lot of them! I can’t believe that they have been friendly to you after you have faced them, even you also become friends with the team they defeated my school’s basketball team” said Emiri.

“Yep! It’s great that we have befriended them since they have a lot of special moves to show and we’re developing their friendship with us, so that they’ll remember our names once we meet with each other again” said Kira.

“Oh, yeah, I think that you’re right, Kira. I would say that they have been expressive to their ambitions they have just like us and they believe that they’re more motivated to make the difference at the same time. Hopefully, they’ll be able to grow their potential to become superstars in the future in Nagoya just like what we’re aiming right now” said Emiri.

“Of course, Emiri-san! I agree about what you’re saying about those friends of mine. They’re ready to show their willpower to bring their auras to shine” said Kira.

“And if they keep working together to make their future brighter, they’ll be blessed too” said Emiri.

“You got that right, Emiri-san!” said Kira.

“So, what’s next for all of us, Kira-san? I would expect that we’ll start working on our new strategy, so that we’ll use that in the prefectural tournament” said Shizue.

“Well, we would probably work on that next week because we should be ready for the practice matches Funatani-sensei will be planning this coming next month” said Kira.

“Oh, yeah! I’m confident that we’ll battle against the schools that they’re on the same level as us” said Shōko.

“It would be great that we will have to work together to rally for the win, Kira-san!” said Rika.

“The people of Mizuho wanted us to shine, which means that we should work together to become the best middle school girls’ basketball team in Nagoya!” said Akie.

“Yeah!” said Kira, Megumi, Yuiko, Yūmi and Aki.

“Well, I hope that your team will be ready for the prefectural tournament, but it’s going to take two months to work on this to prepare” said Emiri.

“Of course, Emiri-san! As I’m your childhood friend, you’ll be delighted to see our team once we’re going to battle with each other soon” said Kira.

    “Yeah!” said Emiri.

“By the way, since you’re here, I have one question” said Kira.

“Oh, I see. You mean that you’re going to let me join your group? Well, I was about to say that before you share about the new friends as in rivals from different schools in Aichi” said Emiri.

“Why, yes, it was, Emiri-san! So, are you going to join the Bravehearts of Nagoya?” said Kira.

“Yes, Kira! I’m going to join your group! That way, we’ll keep developing our friendship together!” said Emiri.

“Then, welcome to the Bravehearts of Nagoya, Emiri-san! It’s time to work together like the way my friends and I would!” said Kira.

“Okay, Kira! It’s nice that you have me being part of your blessed group! If that so, I’ll let my friends from the Lumiere Red Mitsurugi to be part of your group too!” said Emiri.

“You got it!” said Kira with a smile on her face.

“That’s nice, Kira! I’m so happy that we have Emiri being part of the Bravehearts of Nagoya!” said Kazumasa.

“That Emiri will be getting along with us for the weekend!” said Reina.

“Yep. When one girl had some talent, she must work hard to be blessed” said Chiyo.

“I would say that it’s going to be a beautiful rainbow connection since we add another color to the group” said Sumire.

“That’s right, Sumire-san! Emiri’s hair color is red, which is the color that doesn’t have in our rainbow formation, despite red is the main color of the Gleamed Cherry” said Rumi.

“I believe that adding Emiri to the Bravehearts of Nagoya would be a great shape to make a rainbow connection, combining us and Kira’s childhood friends if Kira would be able to find them all” said Erika.

“Yep. I’m so excited that it’s going to be a beautiful formation to develop our group with the new members we have” said Aki.

“When Shizue joined the Bravehearts of Nagoya, our other new teammates have been honored to join our group without informing to us quickly” said Yūmi.

“That’s right, Yūmi. Since we’re a group of students who like to gleam and bless everyone, we’re going to keep our pride and courage to make a better future for our community” said Yuiko.

“And to be gleamed is to be blessed, which means that we’re beautiful to make our friends living with their faith” said Megumi Kazama.

“You got it, Megumi-san! I’m sure that we’re going to be happy to keep our faith because it’s nice that we have our own willpower on our hands” said Kira.

“The willpower had been the most important thing that we need to keep on, so that we’ll become stronger as ever” said Kyōko.

“All things about the principles of our basketball program should be learned. We should be determined to keep our teamwork growing from the start until the end of the day” said Rika.

“We’re confident to make our school dominant this year after our elementary school years have been eclipsed recently” said Shōko.

“That’s why we need to energize ourselves right now to make sure that we’re going to shine ourselves to keep our careers on a high note” said Akie.

“We can’t give up now because everyone knows that we’re blessed through our own pride and courage and so, it’s going to be our year to make the difference just like the players from the high school level, who were shining like superstars of the future” said Shizue.

“Yep. I agree, Shizue-san. That’s why we have to work together to get ourselves earned and make this year a full of great expectations to accomplish” said Kira.

“Yeah!” said the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team.

“We should start our new run right now, Kira! I hope that we’re ready to bring good vibes in Mizuho to shine us out with our special moves” said Emiri.

“Of course, Emiri-san! Together, we’ll rise together…” said Kira.

Emiri and the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team would shout together in unison alongside Kira to energize themselves with prowess and willpower. “…as one family of bravehearts!”

“Now, let’s make this year a full of gleams and blessings with prowess and willpower!” said Kira.

“Yeah!” said Emiri and the members of the Bravehearts of Nagoya and the new members of the Todoroki Gakuen Middle School girls’ basketball team. The Bravehearts of Nagoya are finally contemplating their future right they recalled their last season when the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team won the district tournament and made it to the quarterfinals of the prefectural tournament. Now that they’re in the middle school level, it’s going to be their chance to continue their dominance as they finally have their goals to make this year, so that by the end of the season, they’ll end their season on a high note. Also, with Emiri joining the Bravehearts of Nagoya, the Bravehearts of Nagoya will continue to make the community in Mizuho a full of gleams and blessings, so that they’ll have their brighter future on their hands.

UP NEXT: Chapter 161: “Shine High with The Spider Lily and The Sakura” [Penultimate Chapter of Volume 8, Part 1]

This is the second time that I had made a special chapter featuring the Bravehearts of Nagoya and it’s also the first time that I had posted a collection of the characters that battled against a braveheart group. I don’t know how I put them down on the list, but it’s all about the research when I made up OC names for the opponents of the Bravehearts of Nagoya when their school, the Todoroki Gakuen Elementary School girls’ basketball team, had competed in the city tournament and the Aichi prefectural tournament. Hopefully, I’ll be working on future updates with the Bravehearts of Nagoya very soon because the next update will be the final day of the Fuchsia and Celadon Week, starting with the clash between Tomoka Minato and Keiko Kakuma. I’ll see you on January 29 (Wednesday) for the next update of Rooks, Knights and Bravehearts!
