This game is probably the last one that hasn't got PlayDRM as its protection mechanism... Anyways, here we go (just like previous non-PlayDRM titles):

1. Use a hex editor to open the malie.exe
2. Search for the hex value of E8 22 EB FB FF (should be located around the offset 0012A270)
3. Replace the above-mentioned hex value with 33 C0 40 90 90 (the same idea, which was from a user from another (non-2DJ) forum, was also used to deal with previous non-PlayDRM titles)

Tested: open game to title, start new game, save game, modify config; (after closing and reopening the game) load a saved game, previous config modifications preserved.

P.S. It's lucky that the delay of this game's release wasn't to add PlayDRM to it :)
