A bug that hasn't been patched yet.

When you get the first level of the dungeon cleared, you unlock a sidequest(新作料理の材料) to help a guy make a new recipe. Don't take that quest without first doing the quest to explore the second level of the dungeon. The game doesn't tell you this, but a material you'll need can only be found there, and once you have that sidequest selected, you can't initiate the quest that allows you to enter the second floor of the dungeon, because the sidequest is still active... took me forever to figure this out and roll back to a much earlier save.

Edit: There are a few missions that do this. To be on the safe side, as soon as you get the mission to explore the next area, knock that one out of the way first, then you can do other missions.
