There once was a boy student who liked the girl next door.

That girl was elegant, well-mannered young Maika. Like everyone else,
the boy student longed for her.

Maika's mother Hibiki was clearly to credit for her daughter's beauty,
and known locally as the pretty face of their family restaurant.

One day, Hibiki's husband, Maika's father -- the chef of the restaurant --
suddenly disappeared.

He left a note. He was eloping with some lover.

Hibiki had no choice but to take over as chef, and she did the job well,
but compared to her husband it just wasn't enough.

Customers dwindled. Management began to slide.

Then, one day, a new item appeared to the menu.

主人公の男子学生には、家の隣に住む、幼なじみの女の子がいる。


その女の子は、気立てが良くて愛らしく、美貌の持ち主・舞香。主人公も、ひそかに
恋焦がれていた。


その母親である響も、舞香によく似た美人で、近所でも評判の『二枚看板娘の定食屋』を営んでいる。


そんなある日、定食屋の料理長である父親が、いずこかへと失踪してしまう。

父親は、置手紙を残していた。どうやら、愛人とどこかへ消えてしまったらしい。

料理自体は、響でも作れるものの、旦那である料理長と比べると、どうしても少し落ちてしまう出来栄えで・・・


その所為で、定食屋の客足は、少しずつ減っていき・・・店の経営は、傾いていった。


そんなある日、店のメニューに・・・『親子どんぶり』という一品が加えられた。
