I second this issue. To be clear, the error message says that the game is already installed or a different version of it is already installed and must be uninstalled first. I can confirm that I don't have any other version of the game installed but the error persists.

It says that the game is already installed, and that you need to uninstall the previous version before running this installer.
Check to see if it is in the Add/Remove Programs list, check for any files that might exist, or check your registry for leftover entries.

What baffles me is that I never installed the game the error popped the first time I tried. The game is not under Add/Remove Programs, and I searched the registry for appetite and JimiJijyo.exe deleted everything yet when I try to install the game it keeps popping up the same message.

Drag and drop this game's setup.exe on UniExtract.exe (make sure its setup-1.bin is in the same folder as setup.exe), take the extracted game from setup folder (or whatever folder you set if you didn't like the default path), done.
No need to install or uninstall, it's your normal Kirikiri game that wouldn't need any installation in the first place if the devs weren't retarded.

I had a friend download the game, install it, then upload it for me to download so I got to play the game. Hitting the uninstall.exe did manage to fix the issue so it was a registry issue.Thanks for the reply I'll download uniextract in case I need it for the future.

I love the game wish it was longer but liked it enough to purchase.

UniExtract will not work if the files you're processing are in a folder or path that's somewhat long based on what I figured out myself. What I did was rename the folder to a short name (JimiJijyo) and placed it somewhere with a short path name (something like your desktop or just C:\ or D:\Downloads). Do the extraction from there. I also have to note that running the game also will not work/run if the path name or folder names where the game is on are cumulatively long. This game seems to be really sensitive to that or it may just be a Windows 10 issue for me. Anyways, short folder names worked in my case. Might be worth a try.
