Does it has the correct permissions? Maybe try with Administrator permissions?

I have the same problem, even when running as administrator. Probably the game can't create savedata folder or something like that, as game runs smoothly (other than error popups), but doesn't save propgress

Found the problem, create an savedata folder and rename the folder. It has some characters in it that are not allowed but still are in there.

Also does someone has an english walkthrough of the game?
