Zoku Etsuraku no Tane installation issues

Hi, I know posted about a day or so ago about problems installing Etsuraku no tane on my macbook using crossover but resolved the issue with Parallels with windows xp and the game runs fine now.

But I have an issue installing the sequel, Zoku etsuraku no tane from HERE I have all the settings on windows correct, but whenever I install the game I get an error for "application configuration is incorrect". I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times already, but I still keep getting the same error.

Has anyone else have similar issues? And how can it be fixed?

I'm running:
Windows XP pro (Parallels)
Japanese region
Japaense unicode

You can run this game using only windows 7/8/vista according to (http://www.getchu.com/soft.phtml?id=850433) and it is not possible to play this game in windows xp.

I'll give it a shot, I'm guessing that most VNs work better on windows 7 anyway? So I think I'll get that set up and report the results later.
