Problem With Downloads

I downloaded some games from links I found on a thread in this site. The games were Hitomi - My Stepsister and Let's Meow Meow. Hitomi is broken up into 2 .mdf files and 2 .mds files. Let's Meow Meow is a .iso file. I am using Daemon Tools Lite to try and open them. Hitomi tells me that I need to insert a game disc and Let's Meow Meow tells me "Failure to acquire necessary data from Server. Error Code 0x00030001. If anyone knows how to fix these problems so I can play these games I would appreciate it.

Based on what I read in a Nihonomaru post for Let's Meow Meow, did you apply the relevant crack for that VN? The person who tackled that problem said that it was likely to be VirtualMate trying to run a DRM check and failing.

If you're getting the request to insert the game disc while installing, then locate and load the game disc as instructed; usually the game disc is the second disc image in a package. Not a real problem unless your download was corrupted for some reason or another.

I only have a .iso but the download wasn't corrupted, it worked fine. I have not had much luck in general with being able to play eroge games I download, they just never work.
