How do people Download Files From IRC bots?

Hi guys, been awhile, hime here-I'm curios about this method of downloading anime & manga from IRC bots(>_<; and I want to try it out but I can't seem for the life of me to understand(and get it to work) all the tutorials I find on google out there. So I'm asking for a Anime-sharing(because I know the people here are nice) savior to help me out with a tutorials for newbies plz? Thank you.

1. Go to channel with bot.
2. Find out packlist (usually it will be on their website, but sometimes it's the first pack on the bot).
3. Type

   /msg botname xdcc send #packnumber

4. Rinse and repeat for every file.

I see. Don't know about it coz I seldom visit our IRC.
It tend to use up the time I need to spam check the forum.
