Can anyone access Erogamescape lately?

I'm slightly confused here, as the website doesn't seem to load for me anymore. Does it happen to load for anyone else outside of Japan? I suspected a region ip block at first, but various American proxies seem to work, which doesn't make any sense at all.. If anyone can confirm my suspicions I would be much obliged, since it would mean that there's something going on at my end rather than the website's server.

Got a connection timeout after a few minutes of loading. Used Firefox 14.0.1 from Austria (Europe).

if you still fails, i suggest you try other method such using proxy and change your DNS

It's sporadic for me. Direct navigation never works, but sometimes I can get Erogamescape to load through a proxy (Proxify via US server or Guardtunnel via Japan server). But usually, Erogamescape doesn't load no matter what I try.

This is frustrating, since Erogamescape is the only solid ratings site for Japanese eroge that I know of. VNDB has gotten better, but only the English eroge and high profile Japanese eroge have enough ratings to be useful.

Anyone know of an alternative comprehensive site for Japanese eroge ratings?

At this moment, I can access Erogamescape through Proxify (US server). Direct navigation (from US location), as usual, does not work in either Chrome or Internet Explorer.

Just to confirm that I also have to connect through US proxy. My direct connection is from Canada and has always worked up until sometime during the summer.
Extremely weird consider my Japanese proxy didn't work...

The connection problem is not browser dependent as I've tested on both Chrome and Firefox. Very very strange problem since the Sept. 15th server outage indeed.

Unfortunately this site block some of foreign IP ranges, this is more than half year already, they probably also added some new ranges if you cannot access it suddenly. This is very sad for true Japanese spirit.
