Weird. I'm kind of interested in it, but not interested enough to look it up XD

Kind of just sounds like a hardware issue (since adobe makes not programs, but monsters!), but maybe they tweaked something from 7 to 8?

Hopefully a fix is released soon... or maybe when win8 Blue comes out in a few weeks it will be fixed (probably not).

Well if it might be fixed by downgrading to win7 maybe you should try that? Or running it on a Virtual Machine or something (basically a program that runs another OS within your OS. I just had to start using one recently for Linux

).

Edit: @samyeung46; I was finally tempted enough to look it up. If you haven't tried it yet, go to PS preferences and set GPU drawing mode to "basic" and then restart PS. Apparently it is a known issue (so it might get fixed eventually). The support article was for CS 6, if you have another version this may not work.

booo windows 8!!! i like my windows 7. also, on windows 8 laptops, i hate those shortcuts they have on the trackpads

Trackpad shortcuts? I never got anything like that :/

Unless you mean things like swiping in on the sides to trigger certain menus, but those are easy to disable.

* FinalPyre has it on desktop and laptop. Currently OS of choice.

yeah that!! i've only used windows 8 on other peoples laptops, so those little menus have always been annoying

Well that is their problem

I've disabled them all except for coming in from the side to get the little charm bar or whatever they call it. I don't like to use the trackpad too much anyways. I like to get things done by quickfiring on the arrow keys
