Fixed Awards - Irregularity?

It seems that there was awarded 50 SOTM awards but we are currently at #29 . A glitch?

Hmm..strange indeed. That joey86 guy got all SOTM awards from 27 up to 50.

No and yes. That we have 50 SOTM awards when currently we're at 20 is no glitch; there are 50 available because adding them in batches is easier than adding them one by one whenever we have a new winner. That all the newer awards appear to have been assigned to a member―all of them to the same member―is a glitch.We haven't figured out what's causing the glitch, because the awards have been assigned to no one:

The weirdest part is that at first the awards appeared to have been assigned to a member only on the Experience page you linked. If you clicked through and go to said member's profile, you'd see that they had none of those glitchy awards. It seems to have changed now, with #27 and #28 having been assigned. It's like the award system developed its own sentience and know we're currently at SOTM #29. And people are still being laughed at for fearing the impending robot overlords taking over the human society?

In any case, thank you for bringing up this matter and refreshing our attention on it. We'll look into possible steps to take.
