Are there any Japanese forums

I really like forums like this, and ive always wanted to join a japanese one to practice my japanese. I dont really like anonymous forums like 2ch but ones like this with avatars, profiles, and friends and stuff.
Do japanese people have forum websites like this, really about anything! I think it would be an excellent way to practice the language...

Well, to explain from my experience of exposure/intense googling, majority of Japanese forums tend to be pictureless (profile imageless) with many people displayed as anonymous or with just "handle names/handles" (common term for online alias in JPN) followed by walls of text and replies. Nowhere as near to the flashy standard forums we have outside Japan like anime-sharing or other sites (that i honestly don't care about).
I'm sure if you search hard enough/wait for a better reply than this one, then eventually you might find a JPN forum where the layout is very similar to ours here.


Of course, google would be your main friend I think, in finding JPN forums. Just translate with google translator "japanese forums" or just "forums" in japanese and search in google.jp

I searched for years and havent found one :(
Like you said ive only come across ones like 2ch too.
Now that a second person clarified this I guess ones like anime-sharing must be very very rare and specialized.

"Rare and specialized" would be a somewhat accurate way to describe this forum, yes.
I have seen other forums that use this similar forum format that anime-sharing used to use before site revamp (albeit older version like https://enforums.elswordonline.com/).

I may have already mentioned this but, there are other english forums like anime-sharing that use profile image system and are similar in that they are upload/download+chat sites but sometimes they may not be as friendly as here. Honestly speaking,in present time, I think anime-sharing is the most friendly forum I have ever frequented.

Sorry im known to be bad at clarifying things in my writing D:
I meant japanese forums with the same layout and avatar settings as anime-sharing are rare. In my opinion anime-sharing is the best english forum for what it specializes in :3 Not looking to replace it at the moment xD
I was still searching for japanese speaking forums about anything to practice my japanese
