装備のハイテク化が急速に進む自衛隊。
そうした中、防衛省は民間技術を防衛装備品に活用する「デュアルユース」を推し進めている。
大学や企業に研究助成するための予算を、来年度は１１０億円要求。今年度の１８倍だ。
日本の科学者たちは戦後、『軍事目的の研究は行わない』という立場をとってきた。
「日本学術会議」はこの立場を見直すかも含めて議論を始めている。
"軍事研究"に対してどう向き合うか、揺れる大学の現場を取材。
