SUMMARY

The original, Carnegie Medal-winning 1952 novel revolves around the “little people” — 10 centimeters (about 4 inches) tall — who live underneath the floorboards of an English country house. Ghibli’s adaptation will transport the setting from 1950s England to the Tokyo neighborhood of Koganei in 2010.

Shou moves into his great aunt's house. Living there already are a group of tiny people, The Borrowers. A 14-year-old Borrower named Arrietty strives to prove herself by helping her father gather materials that her family needs from Shou's new home. Arrietty soon discovers Shou breaking the rule that humans must not know about The Borrowers' existence. As Shou and Arrietty's relationship develops, human interference endangers The Borrowers' lives. Arrietty and Shou must work together to try and protect The Borrowers' way of life.

UTW is a fansubing group and THORA is a BD group. They collaborated on this project, with UTW providing the script-work and THORA the encodes.

Another question, where are the THORA group came from? I mean they are came from forum like this or what?
Do you have any suggestion about another great BD group for anime? For my eyes, THORA encodes look grainy whereas their release very big in size.

They had a release blog for a while, but it got hacked so often that they abandoned it and are IRC-only now.
Anyway, grain is added by studios for a reason - I don't want to talk about stuff like IVTC with you, so just know that it prevents banding, removing it causes the video to look terrible (destroyed lines and massive detail loss), and that preserving grain takes up a lot of bitrate. If you want smaller files, you're better of going with 720p encodes or just buying the blurays directly.
