No, we don't always find something lol. If we do find something, we have to tell higher authorities, because they can't build anything there, if they want to preserve it, then we get paid. If we don't find anything we get paid lol. We sometimes get bonuses for finishing everything early. I'm actually really good at the whole surveying thing lol. Well, I'm going to try my luck on Artificial Academy. I'm going to see if I can at least understand SOME of it.

Lol no problem, I enjoy long messages. Thanks for the advice, I'll try them out sometime. I already try out some Japanese VNs, as well as other things. Lol, I like eroge and games better than anime as well. I just wanted to post something else, other then the same thing twice. Oh yeah, the job I'm going to do is being a surveyor. I have to look for artifacts, fossils, etc.
For modding, I'd say the wisdom to take decisions and judgement isn't something you can exactly learn - unless you do it the hard way (i.e. you make a mistake and someone corrects you). For the technical details though, I think directly trying out the functions works the best. If possible, maybe it's better to have a (dummy) forum of your own where you can try out things as you please, as that was how I began understanding forum functions from end-user ones to administrative ones. Also sorry for the overly long message, and for me it's often eroge (or games) > anime :p
That's nice, what kind of job are you going to get? Umm for Japanese I guess you can start off by the usual stuff like, let's say, anime and perhaps also Japanese music. imo exposure to the language is a very important thing you can't get even in class (unless it's like full of natives you can always spar with). Though the result of this kind of self-learning method varies greatly from person to person. For the letters (hiragana, katakana, and kanji) sadly you will have to spend some :effort: learning them - well at the very least hiragana since you may be able to learn more kanji if you, like, play VNs often.
