...what to say?
my name is stefan, i'm from germany, i'm 26 years old and i work as a "rettungsassistent", which is similar to an ema, or paramedic, but it's not really the same thing, as there are several differences in how we're allowed to treat our patients in case of an emergency.
i started watching anime several years ago and i really enjoy MOST of the english dubs. the german ones are pretty much crap around 99.9 percent of the time and i think the english ones are indeed very decent, except for initial d, for example. everyone who has seen it in english and in japanese will surely agree to that. also, in my opinion it can sometimes get pretty annoying reading the subs all the time, so the english dubs are a great alternative for me, since i'm able to speak english pretty fluent. or fluently? wow, i gotta say, i'm not sure about that one...
my favourite animes are death note, cowboy bebop, initial d, hellsing, black lagoon and, yes, i admit, naruto shippuuden.
in my spare time i like to swim, play ps3, watch anime... AND i like to listen to music. music is my life. i mostly listen to (post)hardcore, independent, alternative and other stuff like that, which doesn't really fit into the picture of the stereotypical anime-fan, i guess, but to hell with that. i don't really care much about what other people think i should do.
well, i guess that should be enough for now. thanks for having me ;-)
greetings, stefan
p.s.: my name is taken from my favourite band, skycamefalling. they sadly don't exist as a band anymore, but you can still check them out on www.myspace.com/skycamefalling1021
